I've trying to cancel my account and get my refund.
I have been trying to cancel my account and receive my refund. I sent emails to the account managers and escrow agents email addresses on July 26, July 27, July 30, July 31 and today August 5. I spoke to Brynden F on July 28. I told him that they took a payment from my account but I still wanted to cancel my account. He told me the payment had to clear (which it did today) but he would submit my account to "upper management" to review for cancellation. As of today, my account is still active on my portal. The response I received today from Gerard L says "your account has been sent to the cancellation department and will be worked on as soon as they can." How come no one can give me a straight answer as to how long or when will I receive my refund?

Desired Outcome

I just want my account closed and receive my refund.

Customer Response • Aug 06, 2020

The matter has been resolved with Progressive Debt Relief. Thank you.

I have contacted this business at least 10 times, ask them to cancel services and refund money over 4 day period. I got the run around.
I have contacted this company at least 10 times via email or phone over the past for five days asking for a refund and cancellation of their services. I've been treated rudely I've been treated kindly I've been put off I've been told it was going to upper management I've been told I could get a partial refund I continue to ask for full refund and quit Services. Turned into a time game in upper management figuring it all out once I turned them into the Revdex.com they told me I would receive the check in 3 to 5 days. Before that it was 10 days of upper management reviewing the information it's just been a nightmare for 3 to 5 days has not passed yet so I hope My refund comes in 3 to 5 days and they cancel my plan with them. It was very simple and welcoming to sign up with them and give them 372.00 Dollars a month. It has been very difficult to cancel my services with them and receive my refund in escrow. I am hoping it comes in 3 to 5 days I don't know what's going on with that business it all seems a little not professional. To play the upper management card game.

Desired Outcome

They just sent me an email saying they would get me a check in 3 to 5 business days we shall see

Original Cancellation Request made by*** Friday, 6/19/2020, Account Cancelled Monday, 6/22/2020.
Progressive Debt Relief does not agree with the statements made by***. All forms of communication between Ms. and the parties she referenced were thoroughly reviewed and we believe for current and potential clients they should fully understand the actual interaction from the time she requested to cancel and her account cancellation having taken place. First, we'd like to address the amount of times she requested to cancel and the amount of days she stated it took to process her request. There were never 10 attempts to cancel. Calls and emails were reviewed to verify this information. She called and spoke to a representative and then had email exchanges with a an account manager who was in the middle of negotiating multiple loans she had enrolled in her program. Immediately upon her cancellation request her account was sent to the cancellation department to process however, due to her account status PDR wanted to provide her with all options since she stated she could not continue payments due to current bills. Our goal is to work with our clients, provide them with options if we can, and help them satisfy their debt. There was a call made from management to go over this with Ms. to provide a full account update prior to just cancelling the account just to ensure she had all the information from our recent efforts with her creditors. She did not return the call and she did not have a voicemail option. That call along with the previous call are all recorded and can be submitted upon request. Ms. states it took 4 days and then went to say 5 days of trying to cancel. Her cancellation was completed within one business day so that is not correct based on our records. We believe she may be referencing the declination of additional options provided via email and gathering her current address so that we could issue her refund without issues. Ms. also states she was treated rudely, after further review of all communication with all parties involved we believe that too is not accurate. We take those accusations very seriously as we expect all employees to treat our clients with respect during every interaction. Ms. chose email as her main form of communication and we can provide those as well. The account manager gave her an update on her account, provided her with a few options in the case she wanted to continue but that would also help with her current bills, and then went on to verify her current address and let her know the account was being processed for cancellation. We take our client's accounts very seriously and want to ensure that the right process is followed consistently. Ms. said, "Turned into a time game in upper management figuring it all out" PDR has been operating for over 15 years by helping clients satisfy their debt. There is no figuring it out, it is a process that we must follow so that we can efficiently and accurately process a client's request. She went on to reference it being a "game" which we find offensive as we would never treat a client's account in that manner and most clients appreciate that there are multiple parties involved to review accounts for accuracy before closing out an account. Based on what we believe to be false information provided in the complaint, PDR made the decision to expedite Ms. cancellation request.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I received my check and full refund four days after I told this company that I was going to turn them in to the Revdex.com. I am thankful for my refund, so I will consider the case closed. I did not lie at any point during my complaint. The only discrepancy that I could see was as to whether it was a four or five day communication period with the company. I can look in my records the exact amount of time this conversation took via email or phone if necessary. I am satisfied because I received my refund. Thank you.

This company is great and I'm having a awesome customer service experience. I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I can not get any straight accountability as to how the funds collected have been utilized.
February 7, 2019, I received an email from Kerri C advising I had $632.73 in my account with only one account (Easy Pay) left to pay off. She indicated it would take approx 15 months to gather the funds to pay the account which would be approx May 2020. Since 2/7/19 Progressive Debt has collected $2025.00 ($75.00 bi-weekly) but this week Yasmine P advised that there is only $847.93 in my account.

I have requested a full breakdown of funds collected and how they have been distributed but have received no response. Progressive Debt Relief should be close if not already there to have the funds to negotiate and pay off the final account.

Desired Outcome

I want 1) a detailed explanation as to how the money collected since 2/7/19 has been spent and 2) why there is such a discrepancy in what I was told by Kerri and what i am now being told by Yasmine. I simply want to get this last account paid and cleared asap. If Progressive Debt can not give me a valid explanation for all of the discrepancies and a breakdown of funds used on my account, I want a complete refund for what has been collected since 2/7/19. I will negotiate the last account myself. As they were negotiating the account in February 2019 but claim they are negotiating it now?

I originally spoke with client 7/2- He was very angry he was getting calls and drafts from the lenders still. We spoke with him and explained the steps he had to take with his bank, and forms he had to send to the creditors to secure his account- He decided to continue with the program, and was calm.

Since that call, we have kept contact with the client with updates regarding his acct, weekly.

Most recent contact prior to the Revdex.com complaint was with our agent providing him an update on the proposed offer we had with his lender. We gave him a complete breakdown regarding the offer, and payments needed. He said he was going to check his bank statement, and call us back- We never heard back, we received the complaint instead

8/13- After receiving the complaint, I contact the client to discuss concerns- We discussed the settlement letter I received, and the details of the agreement. We discussed fees, and options to help him with the debt enrolled.

Client after a few minutes of talking, got irate, and asked for the escrow atty information, and hung up.

Since we have called 3x's with no return call.

Email sent to client, explaining pending payment has not cleared, however when it does around 8/19- we will close his account and refund his escrow trust account.

I signed up for payday loan relief and I just found out that they have not paid for one of my payday loan. I pay $285/month towards this service.
I received a phone about a court serving paper regarding this payday from Rushmore. They said there has not been a payment to them for over a year. I want reimbursement from Progressive Debt Relief and have them investigated for fraudulent charges.

Desired Outcome

Reimbursement

Progressive Debt Relief Response • Aug 05, 2019

Client enrolled with PDR 8/2018- she added 6 lenders $6,289.21 in debt. To date, we have settled 3 lenders- and each settlement she receives a copy of the settlement letter for her records(letters also include the contact info for the creditor). I recently had email communication with her as her payment returned insufficient and she was at risk of defaulting her settlement in place.

Throughout her program term, we update her lenders and negotiate with them as funds become available. We do not disburse a small amount to each, as we are a debt settlement company-this is described to the clients in their PDR disclosure.

I understand she is frustrated about the call, but to date, she has not contacted us(she has my email and number- client just emailed me 8/2) to give us the chance to see if this caller is even legitimate.

I called Rushmore to confirm this, but had to leave a message. I also called the client but had to leave a message, followed up with an email(see below)

We are waiting on the client to call or email us back with the contact information regarding this call so we can contact the caller

---Email to client- Good Evening,

Hope you are doing well- I am in receipt of the complaint via the Revdex.com. We just communicated via email about your possible default for Big Picture Loan due to non payment. Is there a reason why you didn't bring this concern to me directly?

I understand the call must be stressful, however, I don't see you have brought this to our attention to allow us the chance to get this looked into to confirm if it is even legit.

Since your time of enrollment, we have settled 3 of the 6 lenders you have enrolled- with proof provided to you for each settlement we reached. Why exactly should we be investigated for fraudulent charges? I understand you may be upset about the call, but this claim is unfair, as we have worked diligently on your account with the funds received.

We have done the best we can during your enrollment considering the hardships faced leading to inconsistent payments. Currently you are in the middle of a settlement with one payment left to Big Picture Loans. When this settlement is complete, we can accrue funds to work on your next agreement- which in this case would be Rushmore.

I called you to discuss the concerns mentioned, but had to leave a message. Please call me when you can, so we can discuss this in more detail.

I look forward to hearing from you soon

taking money and not using for what the company is designed for.
I have called several times and no one answers. they take mooney from my account with no explanation of how the money is used or paid out. they are not paying anything but continue to steel my money.

Desired Outcome

Hi *** in response to your concerns, on the day you called 7/30 our internet was down for most of the day and that is the reason why you were getting a busy signal however one of the account managers did send you an email advising you of this and provided you a status on your account.

You enrolled two accounts with us and one has already been settled. This was sent to you on 11/19/18. Please keep in mind that you have complete online access to your account to view exactly where your funds are going. The payments that you make monthly go into your escrow account that is used to negotiate on your behalf which you have access to view online with the information we provided to you on 9/13/18. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused when our system was down.

Please call us so that we may discuss this further.

Thank you

My initial conversation went well even though their fees are HIGH. My contact is Kerri C. I emailed her multiply times expressing to her DO NOT let any of these companies I owe money to go into collections. I emailed her all the letters i'd receive from the companies. I'd get no response from the emails. I go onto credit karma on 4/4/19 and see that my credit score dropped 25 point because of this collections.

I emailed Kerri today on 4/4/19 expressing to her my thoughts and dislike for her and the company because they did exactly what I expressed to them over and over. Yes, I know i'm in the situation I am and its my fault, but when I'm paying a company for service I EXPECT things to be done the way I stated and to be taken care of immediately. I'm not paying them $ 1,018 a month to do what they want. I'm paying their salary!

DO NOT go with this company!

Progressvie Debt Solution never paid any money to my creditor as promised. They withdrew $1196 from my account only to keep for themselves. I used them as a third party to negotiate with Check and Go, but only to find out the money was never issued to them. Check and Go is seeking $2784.80 from me or I will be sued. I would like for Progressive Debt Relief to refund me all the money the stole from me.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like a full refund of $1196

We made several attempts to contact the client regarding this issue.

On 2/2/2018 client joined PDR program, and signed the agreement which has the full disclosure regarding how the program works, and the service fees due upon settlement(s) with creditor(s)

On 8/10/2018 PDR set up a settlement with the only lender listed on the clients behalf. There were 12 payments scheduled to be paid on the settlement agreement. We made the first payment on 8/13/2018 after allowing the client 48 hours to receive the agreement, allowing her the opportunity to deny the offer.

On 8/23/2018 client inquired about fees for services. We explained in detail how the program worked, and recapped the terms on her PDR disclosure, sent her another copy and explained how we collect fees. She understood.

On 8/27 client decided she wanted to cancel the program. We gave her options to stay on the program with payments to be made to the lender for the settlement agreement in place or handle the remaining 11 payments on her own, she said she would call us back.

8/28 client request we cancel services and she would handle the remaining 11 payments to complete the settlement agreement, so we moved forward with the deactivation of the program.

Recently, in December, she reached out to PDR regarding the creditor contacting her for full remaining balance owed; this was due to her not continuing the settlement payments, as she advised she wished to do in August 2018.

On December 19, 2018 we reached out to the lender on behalf of the client and were advised if she made the settlement payments they would honor the remaining payments to complete the settlement. We advised the client on 12/19 of that option to continue the payments to the lender. On 12/20/2018 and 12/21/2018 we reached out to the client via phone and email- No response, and no response to date.

Progressive Relations should have paid the 12 payments from the money they collected from me. I was under the impression that they would collect a fee but would make payments as well. However, I could have paid $1000 settlement on my own in February 2018 at my creditors request. I declined because I trusted progressive to take care of the payments to assure nothing went on my credit report. As I am aware it's already on my credit and they only collected money for themselves. I demand a refund of $1196 or I'm going to file a lawsuit next, at their expense.

To Whom It May Concern,

Progressive Debt Relief LLC has attempted to make contact with *** on multiple occasions without any type of response from this client. Without being able to communicate to the client there is no way a resolution can be made. Progressive Debt Relief has made six call attempts dating from August 8, 2018 through December 21, 2018, the last three from upper management, in order to come to a resolution. Work was completed and approved by *** when she enrolled into the program January 2018. Progressive Debt Relief LLC is very clear on how fees are collected at the time of enrollment along with the enrollment documents for client who reside in Alabama. Ms. signed off on the agreement and disclosure and agreed to a program term of 19 months during which work is being completed the entire time. When clients commit and do not follow through with their program, often times we are in the middle of settlements with their lenders. This was the case with Ms. and we provided her with two options. She could utilize the work we did and pay them according the settlement we received or allow us to continue with the program until this lender was completed. We had already made one payment to this lender for the settlement agreement. She agreed that she would take over and continue making her payments to them directly based on remaining balance.

We made the lender aware that Ms. would be handling her own payments moving forward which did not occur. With that said, in December, Ms. called requesting a full refund. We explained that the full fee wasn't collected and a payment was made to her lender therefore we could not honor that request. In order to help Ms., we contacted the lender and we confirmed her previous settlement payments would still be honored even though she had missed four months' worth of payments to the lender.

After Ms. was still unsatisfied, upper management took over the account and attempted to make contact for a resolution. Three attempts (12/20/2018, 12/20/2018, 12/21/2018) were made without contact or a returned call. Without being able to communicate with Ms., *** a resolution can not take place. We are still willing to satisfy Ms. therefore any suggestions would be appreciated.

Upon request, we have approved recordings and emails between Progressive Debt Relief and ***.

Sincerely,

Progressive Debt Relief

Attempting to obtain a refund from this company and have not been able to complete that task .
In August of 2018, I employed this company to settle a payday loan company which offered to cut the fees and settle the debt for less. I made 2-3 payments to the company in which I followed the progress online. After reviewing that no progress was made to the creditor I emailed the customer service agent who was put in charge of my account in which she replied that they were attempting to reach a settlement offer with the original creditor or attempting to obtain enough funds from me to reach a settlement. I became suspicious and began looking into this company in depth and seen this seems to be a pattern that has occurred with other customers of this company . I contact the company by email and also by phone to inform them I was disappointed with their services and I wanted to terminate them . I was told they would be refunding me what I had paid less the fees I had paid . 2 weeks later and I have emailed and called and have no refund .

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of what I've paid to the company

Compliant is resolved

Company was suppose help with debt. They have went to friendly to a complete nightmare.
I started using this company november of 2017 it is now november of 2018. Starting the company I had two loans for around $1500. One loan was for around $700 one loan was around $800. Mid service they say each loan is around !1200 but never showed proof. This was the first red flag. They end up settling one of the loans for $940.00 at this time I had about $2100 saved in my escrow account. Instead of paying them off in one payment they stretched they payments out for 7 months so they could continue to collect monthly fees. This became the second red flag. I contacted yasmin g*** who assured me it was just how they settled loans. 2 months later they say They have agreed to settle my second loan for $635.00. At this point I contact yasmin again who states I have $658.00 in my escrow account. I assume that I am now complete with the program considering I have paid $2445.00 so far and they last $658 they would use to pay off my second loan. No. Yasmin tells me I would have to continue paying my monthly fee of $245.74 for another 6 months and then they would refund me what they didnt use. It made no sense no matter how they tried to fake expain why I still needed to pay $245.74 for another 6 months if I had more than enough in my escrow account. I decided I want to discontinue my services. From this point on Ive been getting the run around about receiving a refund of my escrow account. Yasmin told me last week if thry settled the debt I would have to pay them $467 for their fees. I told them I did not want to settle. Yasmine reached me a few days later now stating the $658 I have left in escrow belongs to them for fees and I also owe an additional $158? These people are complete scammers. I just want the $658 I havein my escrow account without the harrassment and threats from this company.

Desired Outcome

I want all monies in escrow account returned to me immediately.

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to follow up with you in regards to the complaint filed. I have spoken Ms. Brown, several times in regards to her account, today being the most recent conversation.

She is considering staying on the program, to allow us to finish the settlement in place. We will be regrouping tomorrow.

She received a complete breakdown, again in regards to how the program works, and understands how the payment have been received/distributed amongst her lenders.

Progressive Debt Relief has all recordings if needed to confirm the mentioned above.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly at 321-284-8152.

Money in escrow account was not returned to me after services were terminated. The company waited months to even try to settle my debt.
I signed up for progressive debt relief to find relief from the debt I had gotten myself into. They charged a sign-up fee of around 380.00 to even enter the program. I made payment of around $200 twice a month for a few months. I continued to get calls from debt collectors. When I would inquire of progressive debt, they informed that it took a while to settle but to my knowledge they had no contact with the places that I owed money. This caused my wages to be garnished. I terminated with Progressive Debt relief with roughly $800 in my escrow account. I only received a check from progressive debt for $29. I am still unaware of what the initial $380 was for because to my knowledge it is illegal to charge an upfront cost for debt relief services. I would really like my own money back when this company did not do anything for me and caused me way more problems than I had before. I am requesting my money to be reimbursed.

Desired Outcome

I want my money refunded for this company not fulfilling their promise to settle my debts. I feel as though they stole my money from me. I want the money from my escrow account that was not refunded ($800) and also the upfront cost that I paid in the amount of $380 that I am unsure of what it was even used for.

Good day,

In response to the clients complaint and concerns that she has regarding the program, first I would like to say that Progressive Debt Relief does not have a signup fee. The first initial payment the client paid of $356.90 was for the product she purchased through Real Pay day Loan Help which was completely optional. At that time RPDLH referred her to us. She can always contact RPDLH to discuss refund options for the product she purchased. All documentation of this can be provided upon request.

In reviewing her account, the client enrolled in the the program on 4/2/18 and we immediately came to an agreement with one of her creditors by 5/17/18 and we can also provide proof of that as well upon request. At that time the client had only made two months of payments. There was a service fee that was collected for the account we settled only for the services provided to her for negotiating and settling the account. The client called us in July to cancel her services and after having her account reviewed we collected the outstanding fee that remained on her account. Any funds that remained in escrow was mailed back to her in the form of a check that the client cashed. The client and I emailed on 7/11/18 and this was explained to her.

Our goal is to leave the clients satisfied, whether they complete the program or not, and we will do what we can to satisfy her.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The $356.90 that was paid initially was something I had to pay to enter the program. That is the same thing as a "sign-up fee". That money did not go toward my debt. That is money that the company wanted up front in order to even begin any type of process resolving my debt. At least 3 of the companies did not receive notice that this company was trying to resolve my debt like they promised. They promised to send letters to the companies. When the companies would call me they assured they did not receive a letter. The attached photo shows that the $356.90 did not enter my escrow account. My concern is if this is not a "sign-up fee" then what is the money used for. The company charges a 40 percent fee of the original debt to resolve and then another flat fee of around $190. Those fees are more than sufficient for the work being done my question is what is that $356.90 being used of rid it is not a "sign-up fee".

Sabrena,How can I open this case up so I can complete this? I have calls documented that were made to the consumer where we tried to resolve this matter and were unable to leave a voicemail. The number on our system and her enrollment documents does not match our records nor do our records indicate that she ever attempted to reach out to us to address her concerns from either number. We also can show that the consumer never attempted to update our records so that we could reach out at her new number to address her concerns. This apparently is the new number that she has but that was never updated with our company and shows she never called in to update her information. The only number we ever had on file for this consumer was the following directly from her enrollment forms. (see below) I've attached two calls that show we made attempts to contact Ms. V at the phone number she provided our office at the time of her enrollment and I can also provide notes from when Ms. V was in the program a breakdown of the account and what the refund would be at that time. Also, the overall complaint is not with Progressive Debt Relief as they did not charge her a fee as she keeps stating. There are no upfront fees and I can provide a ledger of her deposits and what was collected and handled by Progressive Debt Relief. If you want me to provide our disclosures that Ms. V signed I'd more than happy to send those over as well. It states there are no upfront fees and her account will also show that the fee she keeps discussing was not taken by Progressive Debt Relief. The initial product that she purchased was from Real Payday Loan Help where she purchased a financial education package so that she could handle the debt on her own if she chose that route. She had 30 days to return that product if she didn't want it yet it was never returned nor did her counselor receive any communication from her regarding that purchase. I would like to get this taken care of as quickly as possible so please let me know what more I can provide or clarify to get this resolved. Happy Holidays, Amanda K877-***/321-*** From: Sabrena ***

Taking my money and doing nothing. They paid off one loan right away but we only owed a couple hundred dollars. I owe twice as much on my loans now then when I asked for help. My credit score is falling because the loan companies are entering that I am 92 days past due. They take close to $600 a month from me and can't seem to call the loan companies I owe to set a payment plan so that I am not behind or past due.

I called to find out what was going on with my money, told them I was not happy with how they were working (or lack of). Was told that a supervisor would call me back, instead I got an email from said supervisor.

I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!

I've had problems every since signing up with this company. They do not respond to emails, especially those sent requesting adjustments in monthly
Payments. You never deal with the same representative, and it takes them days to respond to emails and/or voicemails. I advised within the requested timeframe that the funds would not be available and of course no one got back to me until the morning the payment was scheduled to come out. I started reaching out to them 3 business days ahead to make this adjustment. I'm positive this was a tactic of delay used to take the monies anyway.

Desired Outcome

I want my monies refunded back to my account as requested. I would also like to be assured that this will not happen again. Please have a member of management call me

Complaint Case #: ***
Consumer:***

We would like to address the client's concerns about response time. We received an email request at: August 17, 2018 at 3:22:03 PM CDT - (4:22:03 PM EST) We leave the office at 5:30pm on Fridays ET and are not open on the weekends. We allow at least 24 to 48 business hours for all email replies. We are also available by phone Monday - Thursday 9am -8 pm EST and Friday 9am - 530 pm EST. We do log all incoming calls and do not see any recent incoming calls from the client.

We are required to give the escrow agent proper notice for payment changes 3-5 business days (as outlined in the client agreement). The client's payment was set for 8/21/2018 and was sent to processing on 8/20/2018. We would have needed payment adjustment email or call from the client on or before 8/16/2018 to make any adjustment the client needed. We will be more than happy to address the clients concerns and provide options in regards to his future payments to avoid any inconveniences.
However, he has not returned our call/emails.

Looking at past communication with the client, we have responded to the emails within the 24-48 business hours.

Progressive Debt Relief is a scam! They took $3600 in payments from me to supposedly settle a couple of online loans. The even sent me a letter saying one of the accounts had agreed to settle for $750 and showed that they paid the $750 to the company, however the loan company claims no settlement was ever made and they never received the $750 payment. Now, they are suing me! Seems Progressive Debt Relief should return the money they took from me since they have done nothing but lie. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and anyone else I can think of.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! The are a SCAM!

I am due a refund from this company and each time I contact them about my refund they tell me they will look into it and I have yet to get my money.
I was informed that I was due a refund after I terminated this companies services. I approved for the refund to be sent to me. It has exceeded two weeks and I have yet to be paid and no one will reply with the status of my refund. They owe me $509.31. They keep holding my money and deducting service fees, when there is no business that they are conducting for me.

Desired Outcome

I am looking for a check in the amount of $509.31

Good Morning,

Hope this email finds you doing well. I am reaching out to you as I just spoke with *** and she is ok. She wasn't aware of the process of the refund and is aware now, it was sent to the escrow agent to refund to her and it could typically take 5-7 days to arrive.

Per my conversation with her, that was the only concern and she is happy with everything else. She has my direct number and will call me when she receives it. I also have her on my calendar to confirm receipt of the refund.

Revdex.com Complaint has been satisfied.

If you have any questions, feel free to call me.

Have a great day!

Thank you,

This company took 6000 dollars from my bank account without a refund returned to me.

I signed up with progressive debt relief to pay off payday loans.Went well at first now they missed a payment and I am having wages garnished $1600+
I signed up to pay off payday loans. Shortly after signing up I received a court notice from Opp Loans.Ivy was my acct rep and helped with this.I did not have to go to court as we signednotarized paperwork. The payment was due to Miller and Steeno by the 19th of the month.Come July 2017 the payment to Miller and Steeno was not made and 2 payments were made in August 2017. Payments made to pay off then I get a garnishment letter.I called Progressive Ivy my rep was out of office spoke to another rep who stated the contract was tricky andt hey could work something out. She proceeded to tell me I created the debt and it was my fault (I know this but I am paying them) Then I spoke to Ivy upon her return she stated, she wasnt sure why it was not made but she doubled up in August,I was then told it was because I changed the payment which I did but I got an email stating I had to pay $20 to cover the fee so the payment can be made.So that doesn't answer why it wasn't made.I asked to talk to manager tried for months and never could meet up by phone which was Yazmine. Now I am in touch with Morgan who is in a hurry to set up my future payments and stated there wasn't enough money in escrow for payment.I believe they know they were in the wrong as Gemarie said they could cut their fees down to 20% then she replied and stated they wouldn't charge fees. The last reason for non payment to miller and steeno was that it takes 19 days to clear a payment once payment is made (never heard this before) so my payment wasn't in escrow. So in this I got over 5 excuses and yet no answer that is making sense other than I am now getting garnishment from my check.I can provide print out from Progressive that shows all their fees, payments made from me to them and payments to creditors.

Desired Outcome

I believe since they neglected to verify funds and put it off for a month then they should have to refund the funds they charged me throughout the process along with pay the garnishment in full. If they would have asked for a screen shot I could have proved payment clear or even stated what the truth was but I truly believe they just missed it. I am getting emailed from Morgan wanting to set up future payments they really do not care that there was a mess up and haven't offered one bit of help. They are still charging me fees to keep account open to contact other creditors however; I had the two creditors contact me this week so I know they aren't staying in contact with them.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No Aly that last time I called you you said I requested a different represenative and you wouldn't even speak to me. Then I received an email yesterday from you for the first time that stated:
Good day ***,

After reviewing the accunt with upper management we can refund you the fees collected for the Opportunity Loans that we have collected in the amount of $743.51. We can have those funds applied to your escrow account which will allow us to at least get two out of three accounts left on program settled. I will also reduce the service fees for the last three accounts to 20%. Would this be an option?

I do not feel this is fair as I am Paying $1600+ due to a payment that you all didn't make. Also in the last email Gemaire sent me stated:

What I can do is wave the remaining fees that are due on your account to help accommodate the additional funds that you had to put for your account being garnished. I do not know why the payment was double in August but not made for in July. I am currently awaiting a response back from Shantae our escrow agent, as soon as I receive a response from her I will let you know. What's the $600.00 in questionable loss?

So you all are everywhere with the fees.

Also, this email has never raised concern with your company that per your record I am out additional loss of funds. See email:
Good day ***,

I have attached the conversation that I had with Brianna on 12/7/17. Along with the consent of Judgement that shows you owed $1500.30. We actually have paid them $2000.00. If you go to www.progressivedebtrelief.com user name: password: you can see all the checks that were mailed to Miller and Steeno totaling $2000.00.

So to me if your company is for the customer why is no one concerned with this amount? Instead I have to call them my next business day off and try figuring out where that went.

Lastly, My payment to Miller and Steeno per Contract was due by the 22 of the month so again in July the 22nd not the date your escrow represenative told me which meant there were funds available to pay the payment.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I wanted to elaborate on Ivy's response. I was asking for the remainder of the debt to be paid off as They are wanting to pay me $742 in fees back. I have 3 remaining debts totaling $2229. They are refunding me the 742 in fees. this subtracted from what I owe equals 1486. And supposedly one company settled for 206 less than the amount owed which would take it down to 1280 SO this is LESS than what I am paying for their mistake NO ONE in the company will own up to. I was told by IVY this was illegal for them to pay my debt. This company will word anything the way they want it to sound. If they consider this illegal to do then refund me the $1600 + I am paying for your mess up. That would not be illegal. In my job I must be held accountable customer service is what we take pride in. If our facility makes a mistake we correct it. I find it hard for this company to not even ADMIT that their was a mistake. They claim they settle the debt cheaper for clients only in one of the latest emails Ivy stated "The balances I provided you for Advance America are the settlement amounts they provided us with. They normally don't budge on their offers." So if Ivy's company knew this in the beginning they knew they would not be saving me money HA therefore; they lied again. I am attaching the emails as I told Ivy I would. I hope anyone who looks this company up will read each and everyone to provide them with the accurate data they need. I hope they know they have other options and don't choose this company to help as they have done nothing but hurt and take my time. I will be consulting a lawyer as once again I cannot get a rep other than Ivy. The other manager and escrow agent conveniently couldn't be of assistance and wouldn't even review the case they wanted to just jump to back themselves.
"The total fees for your account would have been $1703.41 which is 40% of the total debt you brought on to the program.
If we reimburse you the $743.51 to your escrow that we already collected for the Miller and Steeno account and waive all other fees we would only have to refund you $396.59 to cover the $2100.00 you had to come out of pocket for. We cant pay off your debt as well as that would be more than what you are stating you had to pay out?
Ivy A

***:What is the total of the 3 left without your fees
So this totals $2229
You made $743 from me in fees which when subtracted leaves $1486. So this is still less than what I am paying for a mess up your end wont account for. You all need to take care of the remaining lenders.
I mean it is your job to come to an agreement with lenders on a lesser amount if possible which is how I was roped into this mess only now I have paid out $743 in fees plus and a $1600 garnishment.

***:You just stated speedy cash was settled for $308 so there it drops it down to $1280 after you credit the $743

The balances I gave are the outstanding balances for the accounts we have not settled yet.

It seems like we are going back and forth with no resolution. Unfortunately what you are asking our company to do is illegal, to pay off your debt. After further review and discussion as I stated before we can refund you the $743.51 to your escrow and use those funds to work on the remaining debt along with reducing your service fees to 10%.
If this is not an option for you then I can have the $743.51 refunded back to you directly so you can handle the remaining debt on your own and close your account.
Please advise
Ivy A

***r:Yes refund it back to me. I would like my account closed with you all as I will not paying you additional fees. It is not illegal when I am paying for your mess up. I will be contacting my lawyer and will update these emails to the Revdex.com. Please forward me on how check will be mailed

Then I got an email confirming my address then nothing until I wrote asking for a status and was told it will take 5-7 bus days.

I did withhold the email stating the companies and amounts however: I can provide if needed.
Again I do not agree I would be very interested in speaking with an actual manager/owner to just enlighten them on my experience. I feel this company is all advertisement. they do not back the customer, they are to make money which is what a business does only they usually try and take care of the customer at some point. Part of being in customer service is admitting when you do wrong. This company does not do this.

Good day Sabrena,

I have provided all the information the client has requested. We have been trying to get this resolved and have provided her the options that we are more than willing to do. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. At this time there is nothing else that I can do.

Thank you

There was money that I had in escrow that should have been returned to me and it was not. When trying to contact the company I have had no results.
I signed up with progressive debt relief to assist with the repayment of some outstanding payday loans. There was an initial start up cost of about $256 and bi-weekly payments of $200.98. My account manager was to negotiate with the companies in an attempt to get a reduced payoff rate which he did for the first company, which was Riverbend. This account was settled for $200 which was a savings of about $400. Progressive was to get 40% of whatever the savings was and they did. There was one more company to pay off, however, I had determined that I could negotiate this myself and no longer wanted to pay progressive debt relief to do this for me. I attempted to contact my account manager, Tommy, and found out that he no longer worked for the company. I was then told that my account was on hold and someone would contact me. I was then contacted by a rep named Kevin and I explained that I no longer wanted to continue with their services. He informed me via email that his manager would get in contact with me. There were some emails that went back and forth and I was inquiring about getting my money back that had been sitting in escrow waiting for negotiation of the other company, which had not even started. I looked at my account and noticed that they had taken the funds that I had in escrow and applied them to something that had already been paid. I went back and forth asking for someone to contact me and explain what was going on and my emails went unanswered. I then had a voicemail from a lady named Yasmine whom was claiming to be the account manager. I attempted to call her back and received her voicemail which stated that she would return calls within 24 hours. It has now been over 2 weeks and I have not received a return call from Yasmin or anyone else from this company. I have documentation showing that one creditor was paid off and that there was money still left in escrow. Furthermore, Progressive debt relief was to receive 40% of whatever the savings were and they took way more than that and then took the money that I had in escrow without even an explanation as to what was going on. Lastly, not one person contacted me to say that my account manager was no longer working there and had I not made an attempt to contact them, I would not have known.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have the money back that was sitting in my escrow account as well as the overpayment that they have taken for their percentage. I would further like a portion of my fees back that I paid to the company. They were very friendly when I was signing up and giving them my account information, however, it has been very difficult to get any answers after I decided to discontinue with their services.

Good Afternoon ***,

Hope this email finds you doing well. I am very confused with this Revdex.com complaint. I understand consumers have the right to issue a complaint, however, I have a recording on file from when I spoke with Angela where she and I reviewed the entire program, fees, payments, etc. in detail with confirmation she understood and was satisfied.

I have enclosed the link to this recording for you to hear (if you'd like)- Can we please have this matter closed and removed online?

Please call me or email me if you can to discuss this further- my direct number is 321-284-8152

Thank you
