As mentioned previously, the complainant has not paid required fees relating to her certification and that is the reason it was revoked When reminded of these outstanding fees, she advised that she would not pay them because she felt the certification is "worthless" She is entitled to express her opinion as to PMI's programs, but that does not alter the fact that she did not adhere to the requirements of the program and therefore her certification was revoked

This business refuses to unsubscribe me from their email mailing list for several years now, no matter how many letters, emails and unsubscribe requests I make - for each of those several years

Customer has been provided with full refund Additionally Customer has been advised he can contact a member of our Customer Care team with assistance on completing the application should he choose to re-apply

The individual complainant here apparently took a preparatory course from a 3rd party training provider, the message here does not state who offered the course In any event its was not Project Management Institute (PMI) as PMI does not offer training courses for PMI's certifications If he would like a refund for the course he should be contacting the 3rd party training provider, not PMI.Regarding the certification application fees charged by PMI, these are published on PMI's website and in the Handbooks relating to PMI certification programs Candidates who are unsuccessful do not receive a refund and that is made clear as is the re-testing fee of $

Dear Revdex.com:
I consulted with our Customer Care department and was informed they have spoken extensively with *** *** to help her to complete the applications for our PMP and PgMP credentials. These credentials require a candidate show proof of a requisite number of hours of work
experience leading and directing projects. *** *** has refused to provide the necessary level of detail relating to this work experience and wants PMI to take her at her word that she has the requisite experience. We cannot do that as this is a requirement that applies to all candidates and would be unfair to waive this requirement for her only. PMI remains open to accepting her application provided she can complete it as required.Sincerely,
Douglas M***

We respectfully disagree with the assertions here and fully stand behind our certification program and testing process. We believe it is fair and transparent process and test, and is supported by psychometric and role delineation studies performed by PMI as part of the exam development process

This complaint has been resolved. Our customer care team reached out to the customer and have provided the full refund she requested

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:PMI's ignorance of the circumstances surrounding my work continues to astound me! It appears to be common practice to pretend like something doesn't exist in order to turn a blind eye to it. They have not addressed ANY of the following:1. They are asking me to make up fictitious project names to appease their bogus requirements.2. They are equally asking me to make up hours to go along with these made up job names.3.
They have been told told repeatedly that there are hundreds of projects
and that it is impossible to accurately/truthfully report hours at this
juncture against all of these projects. Furthermore, the information is proprietary.4. They have been told that
my employers did NOT request hours to be reported by project! There is NO official record of
individual hours against each project within a program.5. I in fact have given PMI hours calculated against the entire scope of the program and projects that I have worked on.6.
They are rejecting the hours that I have reported because they do not
fit within their rigid calculations which are NOT industry standard, are
NOT common for PMs like myself, and force me to make up
the information simply to appease PMI.7. They are in fact discriminating against me for my refusal to lie.8. I was told by their representative Kirk M*** that he hears the same complaint I made "many many" times. He stated that he understood my frustration but could not do anything to help me.Their attorney's rhetoric is the same as the employees of PMI that I have already spoken to. They refuse to look at reality and continue to read from their scripted materials and simply repeat the same language which is "PMI requires that hours etcetcetc."This organization needs to be investigated and stopped from being a monopoly on the Project Management Industry

I intend this to be my final response as I feel that I've done all I can to try to resolve this
Our understanding is that to **. *** is requesting to present a academic research paper at one of the locally run PMI events in India but does not want to have it peer reviewed as isthe
standard process. Papers submitted need to adhere to standards of quality and be factually supported. The PMI Chapter President in *** reached out to *** and expressed a
willingess to discuss this further but was traveling at the time and not immediately available and suggested they schedule a call to discuss. *** appratently was not satisfied with
this response and demanded an immediate call/meeting. This complaint is known to the global manangment of PMI and the opinion is that this is a local matter and that ***
needs to follow the process for review as set forth by the local PMI leadership in India who are running the event.
I do not understand the reference to the email from and do not know what the issue was at that time but in any event none of the individuals on the email still work for PMI (or in
the case of the PMI Chair serve on the Board) and I don't see what relevance this has to the matter here.
Our local staff and the local Chapter remians willing to speak to ***

I am rejecting this response because:I'm rejecting this response but I'm actually happy with it because it assures me how much PMI are losing clueI challenge PMI to show any prove that I told them the certificate is "worthless"I have always kept inquiring PMI about the status of when the software tool will be brought up to date with the standard versions so that it becomes useful and in order for me to be able to utilize it in actual businessPMI didn't fulfill their commitment in maintaining an updated version of the software tool as they promised at the time I paid for the certification and enrolled in the program, and finally they declared their failure in the whole program and informed certificate holders that the program, the software tool, and certifications will all be retired, and all of our investments are for nothingPMI actually scammed us in this certification program, and I still demand refund of my payment plus compensation of my losses as had already been invoiced to them.I'm afraid that PMI are just consuming time is this correspondence to put things offPlease keep my complaint open, PMI are not acting ethically or professionally in this matter

Dear Revdex.com:
The complainant is formerly a member of PMI's OPM3 Certified Professional Program and her membership in such program lapsed due to her non-payment of dues.  Additionally, the other expenses cited in her complaint are unrelated expenses paid to third parties, not...

PMI.  Therefore, no refund of any fees or other monies is due to the her by PMI and this has been explained to her repeatedly.  Additionally, complainant has engaged in threats and harassing behavior against PMI staff, executives and Board Members.  She has threatened to harm PMI's reputation unless we accede to her unfounded demands.  As a result, PMI retained local counsel in complainant's home country of Egypt, who has written her two cease & desist letters advising her that her behavior violates Egyptian law.  The complainant has not responded to these letters or complied with the terms listed in the letters.
Based on this we respectfully request that you close this complaint.
Sincerely,
Douglas M[redacted]

She is entitled to express her opinion as to PMI's programs, but that does not alter the fact that she did not adhere to the requirements of the program and therefore her certification was revoked.
