Project Weavers Reviews (90)

I was initially pessimistic about the online PMP "boot camp" class offered by Project Weavers as I was wanting an in-person classroom atmosphere. I did take the online class and was very satisfied with how interactive the class was. Being able to hear a voice (and see via webcam) explain the processes and provide examples, in addition to our ability to ask questions, have conversations, and/or just provide comments in a chat window were all key to the learning environment of the online class. I would recommend the on-line class to others who may not want to travel or sit in a classroom for this training. The online resources and practice tests they provide are priceless as well.

I took a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification training with Project Weavers with a colleague. We found the course and instructor to be helpful. We both passed our certification exam on the first try, shortly after taking the class (and following through on the homework and practice exams). Scheduling was a challenge) (our location/time was cancelled at the last minute) but we were accommodated with a suitable location for the same dates and we received a discount for our troubles.

The online training course for the PMP exam was generally a good experience. The instructor for my course, Bruce C[redacted], was top notch.

The instructor and materials of the class supported the object of surveying the information needed to prepare for the PMP exam. Although the class intent wasn't necessarily to learn how to run a project, some practical tips were gained from the discussions which could be applied in daily PM responsibilities . The instructor also provided additional tips which proved useful during the examination.

I took the PMP Boot Camp with Project Weavers in August 2016 and had a very positive experience. The instructor John M was very knowledgeable and covered significant material in the 4 days. I studied extensively on my own, but the class brought a lot of the concepts together and highlighted key areas necessary to pass the exam. 3 weeks later, I took the exam and passed.
My only negative would be in communication from the time I signed up to the time the class began. I sent multiple emails trying to find out if the class was confirmed and did not receive a definite yes until 2 days before the class was set to begin.

All in all a great experience: efficient, interactive, focused. A perfect preparation for the PMP certificate exam. Mr Matthew W[redacted], who led our class and training, was a great teacher and I thank him for preparing me and I credit his training for getting me to pass the PMP exam.

This was an EXTREMELY helpful class, to the successful obtainment of my PMP certification. I had spent 9 months prior to this class reading the PMBOK Guide and taking and online course offered by PMI. Both of those helped, but I really believe without this help of Project Weavers and their boot camp, I never would have passed my PMP test. They give you great advise on what and how to study, and more importantly they give you access to mock questions. These are the single most useful tool I had. When I went in for the test it was very hard, harder than I was even prepared for, but because of all the mock questions, I was able to pass on my first try!
THANKS PROJECT WEAVERS!!!

Last year I started studying for my PMI Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification. After a couple weeks of studying on my own, I found Project Weavers and after looking through numerous reviews and comparing prices, I settled on Project Weavers.

Luckily after the course ended, I was offered a free PMP Prep course through my company. I, of course, jumped on the opportunity of free training before the exam. However, throughout the work class, I continued to reference the Project Weaver materials they provided. This serves as a testament to the quality of instruction, knowledge material, and practice exams provided by Matt.

The class provided is WELL worth the cost. I cannot recommend Project Weavers highly enough! I passed first time due to this course!

Thanks for reading!

I definitely recommend the Project Weavers PMP certification exam training class. I took the 4 day live online boot camp class. The instructor Bruce conveyed an obvious knowledge of, and appreciation for, the field of project management. Access to the practice test web site was extremely valuable in preparing for the PMP exam. I took the Project Weaver course the first week of May and passed the exam on my first attempt at the end of May (after lots of studying and taking many practice exams).

I recently took the course with an in person instructor 19-22 Dec in the Norfolk, VA area. Matthew Weaver was an outstanding instructor with years of experience and insight. Our class was small so it allowed us to go in depth on subjects we wanted/needed to. Matthew offered us all the time we wanted in the 4 day class to discuss and re-attack topics. I am a recently retired Marine and I would highly recommend this class to those military personnel leaving the service to make you more marketable in the civilian world.

I attended one of Project Weavers' 4-day online live PMP boot camps. The instructor was top-notch and brought with him several years of relevant experience. The class had only 7 students which was a great ratio of instructor-to-student to help facilitate questions, elaboration, and class participation.
Before taking the class I had read the PMBOK and viewed an online session (12 hours). I then started taking practice exams which was when I realized I did not have the full knowledge to pass the exam just by reading the book: I would need instruction and guidance.
Through this class (along with several more hours of studying and practice tests) I was able to pass the PMP exam and am now a certified project manager.
If you are looking to take the exam, I would recommend taking one of their classes. ","pos-2

Project Weavers Cancelled my (In-Person) Class and Will NOT refund me the difference of the Online Class offered even though they promised they would!I ordered a PMP Training on April 28 for $1899. The class was scheduled in [redacted] on June 20-23. I specifically choose a face to face class because I learn better in that type of environment. A week before the class, I had not received any information on the EXACT location in [redacted] that the it would be held. I contacted Project Weavers on June 13 to provide the location. They advised me that they did not have enough enrollments for face to face so they would have to cancel this class. The only option they had would be to take the Online version and they would REFUND me the difference. This has NEVER happened!!!! They will not email me back and I want my money! Company canceled 2 classes I signed up for and has not refunded my payment as promised in the event of a cancellation.I signed up for a PM Boot Camp on January 4, 2016 that was to be held on April 18, 2016 in [redacted]. I received an email April 6, 2016 that the course was cancelled. I chose this site because it was close to family and arranged my travels months before. On April 7, 2016 I attempted to reschedule for a course closer to home on May 23, 2016 in [redacted]. On April 25, 2016 I was informed that that course was now cancelled as well. After trying to navigate through the courses and finding that it was difficult to find a course near my house, or one of our offices around the country that was going to be held, I requested a reimbursement of my payment. It was confirmed by their Vice President of Customer Relations that the request was submitted on May 2, 2016.After still not receiving the reimbursement I contact them on May 25, 2016. I was directed to the person in charge of refunds who is also the CEO. I received one email from him that said he would look into it, then received 3 more that were completely scrambled and unreadable. I went back to attempting to contact the individuals I had been in touch with before to resolve this issue. There have been 13 emails sent pertaining to the status of the reimbursement, and I have received 8, 3 of which were unreadable.Transaction Date: January 4, 2016.The transaction ID is: [redacted]Amount Paid: $1199.25Desired SettlementRefund the amount paid for your course that was canceled. $1199.25Business Response Hello,We would like to apologize for the delay in processing this refund. I took this course as part of my preparation for the PMP exam. The instruction was really well thought out and effective. I took the exam exactly one week after attending the course and I passed. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable and have great insight into the material. ","pos-3

I took the live, online PMP Exam Prep Course through Project Weavers, and I was very pleased with the course format and content. The instructor was very knowledgable (i.e., he gave applicable examples from his experience as a PM) and he made himself available outside of the course to answer questions as necessary.
Included in the course is access to test banks so that you can practice before taking the exam.
I successfully took and passed the exam after completing the course.
Note: I tried a different, internationally recognized PMP Exam Prep Course three years ago; and I was not satisfied with the format or the instructor. Project Weavers' course offering this year was a better, more organized experience for me. I highly recommend them.","pos-8

Project Weavers sent late notification on cancellation of its class in Norfolk. I was sent an e-mail by Project Weaver the day before class was scheduled to start (Sunday @5:55am) stating that it could not provide an instructor. In-between the time payment was promptly paid on-line and their eventual cancellation, Project Weaver provided minimal communications (nobody seems to answer their 855-871-9246 business phone# either). I repeatedly e-mailed and called until receiving this last-minute notification.Product_Or_Service: PMP Review courseDesired SettlementProject Weavers defensively claims that their class size is always "in flux" and will keep leading people on of their service deliverable. Would like to warn any potential students NOT to use this company. Took several e-mails to Project Weaver to initiate a refund (they will rather encourage you to take their on-line class instead at a supposed discounted rate).Final Consumer Response
