Proximo Travel

My family travelled to Central Italy with Proximo Travel. We had a wonderful time. Our youngest daughter who traveled with us has special needs. Father Anthony took her under his wings and made sure there was food available at each meal that she would eat. We enjoyed the ability to access many of the historical sites without much wait and the restaurants that we ate at were fantastic.

What can I say ? Perfection ! Our guide in the Holy Land was very informative and sensitive to our desires. Hotel accommodations were very good. Flights and those meeting us made travel for my family of six very easy. Italy was spectacular. Our guide, Fr Anthony was not only informative , but very personable and showed great care in helping us have a great experience. We would highly recommend using Proximo Travel for all your vacation needs. You won't be disappointed. AAA!

Trip was well planned, there was enough time between flight connections. Hotel was comfortable, although a little warm the first night; once we mentioned it to front desk clerk, it was much better. Food plan was excellent and provided healthy choices. Tour guides were great, very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. However, wish there had been more time to shop. Looking to going on more tours with Proximo Travels.

Our recent trip arranged by Proximo was very well organized with excellent guides and fine hotels. We are very pleased with the availability and helpful responses from the office staff. We would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

My recent trip to Italy 8 September thru 20 September was awesome beyond.words. Our tour guide provided excellent information on each site visited--she was caring, kind, and helpful toward all the tour's participants (including 1 using a walker!) The priest traveling with us was kind and caring. He offered Mass everyday in many different historical churches. Our itinerary included all the promised sites in Italy. The five different hotels were wonderful! Meals included (breakfast & dinner) were delicious with a variety of Italian food & wine. We had free time to choose our own restaurant for lunch and also for shopping. The flights' schedules were accurate and the flights delightful. Buses were comfortable and fun. I strongly recommend this amazing tour/pilgrimage. Thanks, Proximo! My time and $$$ were well spent!

My wife and I went to Israel and Italy with a group of friends through Proximo Travel. We were left SPEECHLESS! Amazing tour guides, beautiful sites, great places to go eat, the list just goes on. We felt safe throughout the entire trip and learned so much about the history of the sites we attended. This beautiful trip where we saw the holy land and the vatican left us with priceless lifelong memories that we will treasure forever.

Recently came back from a trip to Italy with Proximo Travel. On the day we arrived in Italy, we spent two hours in the airport waiting to be taken to our hotel. We were finally dropped off at our hotel with instructions the bus would be back in four hours. The only thing we did on our first day in Italy was go to dinner. Dinners were sometimes poor - not at all the quality they state in their advertising. Our group of 45 was usually merged with 1-2 others, totaling close to 90 people. One particular evening our dinner was at a restaurant with only one toilet available. Another evening, we ate at a truck stop. The tour guide that was assigned to half of our trip informed us she was not licensed for the areas we were traveling so she was unable to assist us with information. One day we were told it was necessary to leave later than originally planned because the bus driver was required to be off duty at least nine (9) hours, however, the same driver took us back to the airport, from Florence to Rome, leaving early in the morning after only a six (6) hour break from the previous night. When I e-mailed Proximo during our trip, their response was very negative and I was told I didn't know what I was talking about. We did visit beautiful places but I will never travel with Proximo again.

I traveled to Ireland and Scotland with Proximo Travel. It was a wonderful experience!! The hotels and the food were GREAT! I also appreciate their customer service. Will recommend them to my family and friends.

The flights were so comfortable, the hotels were the best in the area and the tour guides were just amazing.

My son and I used Proximo for a trip that we took to Ireland and Scotland and we couldn't have been more pleased. Everything was planned and executed to perfection. The accommodations and restaurant choices were excellent. Proximo made the trip effortless. We can't wait for our next vacation with them!

Proximo provided me and my family a wonderful experience. We were treated well by each and every hotel and restaurant we went to. We traveled to Israel, Ireland, Scotland and Poland with Proximo and they were all excellent experiences.

This travel agency is wonderful. The trip is very well planned and organized. excellent guide. The best thing of all is that the guide always looks out for all the people in the group. They make it, that you feel very safe traveling to another country. From the moment you arrive to the minute you are checking in to fly out. They are there all the time. Food and bus driver was also excellent.

I would highly recommend it to other. I have booked my travel with Proximo two times now.

Our first experience and trip with Proximo was with our church parish. The trip was well organized and planned. All of our expectations were met and was a positive experience. We have since traveled with Proximo 2 additional times and thoroughly enjoyed our vacations from start to finish. In just a few days we will travel with Proximo yet again. We highly recommend this travel agency and have enjoyed every trip. The tour guides are highly educated and very professional. The bus drivers are courteous and also very professional. Our meals and hotel accommodations have always been exceptional.

I have done several trips to Europe with Proximo Travel and all of my trips have been excellent. The hotels we stayed out were all outstanding. The tours and tour guides used by Proximo are excellent and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Proximo Travel for anyone who is thinking of doing a tour. I will definitely use them in any future travel plans.

I have traveled with Proximo Travel 5 times and have had nothing but good to say about them. They are very accommodating and anxious to please you. The guides are local scholars and impart so much history not found in guide books. The food plentiful and high quality not to mention the wine/local beer free flowing. There is adequate time to explore on your own if you prefer.

My experience with Proximo Travel has been great. I've traveled with them to the Holy Land and to Italy on two separate trips. They delivered all that they advertised. The travel, connections, transportation, meals, hotel accommodations were all fine for the guests with whom I traveled and for me. The bus drivers were safe, proficient and helpful beyond their driving responsibilities. The guides were all top notch. They were all scholarly, engaging, reverent, and a joy to be around. They too were helpful to my fellow travelers and me beyond bounds. I will travel with Proximo again and hopefully soon!!!
