I purchased a Frenchton from Greatshire Kennels in Nov, Lucy did very well for almost the first year, then in late Aug 2017, weeks before her 1st birthday she woke up in excruciating pain and could not walkI rushed her to my vet, and he referred me to a Neurologist, where after doing and MRI and CT scan she was diagnosed with Hemivertibrae with scoliosis, Stenosis of the vertebral canal, deformation of the spinal cord and disk degenerationI was informed by the Neurologist that all of these conditions could be hereditaryI contacted Lisa and let her know an asked her to please have the parents checked through her vetShe stated she would do this immediately and let me know, this was in early SeptI tried emailing her several times, but no responseFinally In Jan she contacted me only because she saw the review I left on PuppyfindAfter another couple of weeks she finally sent me xrays of the parents but no report from the vet of the findings and I have asked for it numerous timesWhat good are xrays with no report from the vet? It horrifies me to think that the dogs she’s breeding may have one or all of these conditions and yet she continues to breed themAny one of these conditions alone are horrible, imagine being an month old puppy and having them all! My Lucy is permanently disabled, she wears a brace to support her spine and will be on steroids along with other meds the rest of her lifeI am sharing my experience because I want this stopped and I don’t want to see anymore puppies or parents go thru the hell we have been and continue to go thru My review has been removed from Puppyfind and below is the email I received from them as to whyI have proven my puppy has possible hereditary conditions my vet report says “constistant with congenital anomalies” shouldn’t it be up to the seller now to proveto them that her dogs do not? Unbelievable!!! Hello, Without documentation showing that the condition is hereditary and that the seller should take responsibility for the illness, we cannot post your reviewIf the seller ends up providing you with documents showing the condition was hereditary then you can send them in and we will reopen the case If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me Thank you,

I have tried to contact Puppyfind for over a week to inform them that my account has Been hacked and I can no Longer access it Someone has taken over the account and is advertising frauds by puppies or scam pupies I really need a contact asap and puppyfind is ignoring my requestI cannot find a phone listing, only an email contact for customer support, which they are not responding to It has now been a week and this is getting bad Please assist Thank you [redacted]

In response to Complaint ID#: [redacted] regarding [redacted] .It is unfortunate that Ms [redacted] did not have a pleasant experience with this sellerWe do wish that all members that use the site have an enjoyable outcome, but unfortunately that is not always the case.PuppyFind.com is an online bulletin board service like ads in the newspaper, and is meant to be a means to initiate the sale and so we do not get involved in the terms/completion of the saleMs [redacted] contacted the seller directly, sent them payment in full and then canceled the sale with the seller Every sellers cancellation policy is different, but this seller did offer a full refund and has refunded $out of $so far When PuppyFind.com contacted the seller regarding the situation on 10-20-they stated that they would contact the buyer and setup a deadline when the remainder of the refund would be sent It appears that has not happened PuppyFind.com has contacted the seller in question and let them know their account has been suspended until the remainder of the refund has been paid.Ms [redacted] was able to leave a negative review on the seller’s account and she also has the option of pursuing legal action against the seller if necessary. The payment for the dog was not made to PuppyFind.com, it was made directly to the seller and so any compensation the buyer is requesting will have to be resolved directly with the seller in question Hopefully Ms [redacted] will receive the remainder of her refund soonPlease let me know if we can be of any further assistance.Sincerely,PuppyFind.com Customer Support###-###-####Mon.-Fri8am-4pm MST

Buyer beware, PuppyFind removes negative reviews and biases all operations towards the sellerIn July 2017, I purchased an Australian Shepherd puppy from a ‘breeder’ (Nellie from Lexington, KY) on PuppyFindWe discussed the puppy and pickup arrangements over phone and text, at which point I decided to purchase the puppyPer the breeder, the puppy was dewormed twice and came with current vaccines, veterinary examination, health certificate, and health guaranteeWithin hours of bringing the puppy home, he was too weak to stand, confused, and passing liquid bloody stoolsI contacted the breeder about the issues and they recommended taking him to the vetUpon arriving at the vet, we were told that the puppy was not dewormed and had “the worst case of hookworms” that the vet had ever seenIn the following hours, the puppy had two blood transfusions and spent three days on IVs in the hospital and had in vet billsWhen we notified the breeder of the vet findings, they refused all calls and ignored all textsMy issue with PuppyFind is regarding their review processI wrote a detailed review of the breeder, which was disputed by the seller and automatically deletedI was not notified of the deleted review and the breeder is allowed to continue selling puppies through the website without any mark of feedbackThe site cares more about breeders than the buyersI contacted PuppyFind to ask about the feedback process and I share my questions and PuppyFind responses below: Question: When the negative feedback was disputed by the seller, I never received any notificationIt was just taken downWhy was I not notified? Answer: The system does not notify the seller when a review is posted and it does not notify the buyer if it is disputedThe documentation request is the notification, which will be sent out this weekComment: As the buyer, I must keep up with the breeder on PuppyFind to see if they have disputed the feedbackIf they dispute the feedback, I must recognize this and file a disputeQuestion: I understand that sellers should be able to dispute reviews, but simply ignoring negative reviews without notifying the buyer gives the seller an opportunity to simply mark all bad reviews as fakeIs it the responsibility of the buyer to continually check back to PuppyFind to ensure that the review is still available? Answer: All disputed reviews are put into a queue and worked the same week, and all disputed reviews will require supporting documentation for the statements in them, so proof of purchase, vet documentation, text/email correspondence, etccan be sent inVerbal conversation information and opinions cannot be included in disputed reviewsComment: This does not answer my question but brings up a couple of important pointsFirst, PuppyFind decides what can be included in the reviewNo other consumer website requires this much proof for a feedback systemAlso, much of the conversation with breeders/vet/techs/etcis verbalThere are laws that prohibit recording private conversations without consentThis is, again, protecting the sellerIt seems that there can be abuse of the review system from both sidesBreeders likely bash other breeders, but bad breeders can simply brush off all negative feedback as fakeI am disappointed at PuppyFind's support of poor breeding practices without fully obtaining a story from both sidesIt is not the responsibility of a single buyer to ensure that others are not harmed by the same poor breeding practicesPlease stop disregarding buyer perspectives in favor of negligible posting fees

Legit consumer of a party listing a puppy that had a health guarantee and supposedly AKC registeredThis puppy had numerous health problems and had a 'homemade castration"Very expensive vet bills and AKC registration papers were discovered to be fake after trying to register the puppy The sellers gave fake names and use trac phone which cannot be tracedI know that I will more than likely never get my money back for the cost of the puppy and extensive vet bills, however, I should at the very least be able to leave a legitimate review on these horrible animal abusers

Puppyfind claims to be a website that just links breeders and buyers together without bias I can speak from my own experience that is completely false
In February my boyfriend and I began searching seriously for a puppy through pet stores and breeder websites because unfortunately adopting wasn't working for us On Puppyfind we thought we had found a perfect breeder when we came across Simmy She had a start rating and beautiful Malshi cross breeds For numerous reasons, our experience ended up horrible She started out friendly and more than helpful, but as soon as I began to ask questions (the questions that Puppyfind actually recommends buyers to asks breeders to avoid being conned) she changed her attitude completely She was rude, she called me names, and she actually tried to cancel our agreement If my boyfriend didn't convince her to keep her word we never would have gotten our puppy (now Yogi) Her medical records and breed information was just a typed up paper by her with no proof from a vet or any professional so my vet had to start over with his shots We have no actual proof that he is a Malshi crossbreed besides her word
Once we got home from driving hours to pick up what we believed to be a male black malshi week old puppy she emailed us to let us know she gave us the wrong puppy We had gotten the female black malshi, she did not apologize or give us the paperwork for the female puppy However it did not matter b/c we confirmed we had a male puppyhe was older than she posted online b/c the birthdates she had posted on Puppy find and the birthdates she wrote on the paperwork were different Either way because of all the confusion we can not be certain if we got the puppy we actually paid for
My issue with Puppyfind is that when I wrote a review detailing my horrible experience with Simmy it was removed and I was called a liar by both this nutjob of a breeder and the website The website did not even ask me for my side of the story until I complained to them Then after I sent in tons of proof (which I thought was ridiculous no other customer based site forces customers to send in proof when writing reviews) they allowed my review back in if I edited it to their liking This site removes negative reviews so when I picked Simmy based on her star rating I was not getting the full picture
Furthurmore, after writing my review Simmy called and emailed my bf and I over 100x threatening us because we wrote an honest review of what she did I was unable to write about that in my edited version because I was told to leave phone conversations out of my review This site cares more about the breeders than the buyers who spend hundreds of dollars based on reviews that are not telling the whole story

I sent in a complaint to PuppyFind.com about a fraudulent breeder they have on their site, Arctic Alsatians, who is claiming to sell "American Alsatian" dogsI happen to know the two breeders who own this trademarked name (Schwartz Kennels and Vallicito Alsatians) and this is not them The fraudulent breeder is even stealing photos of dogs from the official breeder's website *with* the correct names of the dogs, purporting to be selling these dogsPuppyFind.com answered my complaint promptly but blew off my complaint and follow up complaint with a form letter stating the fraudulent breeder was legitimate and after my second complaint suggested I contact the breeder directlyIt is important that traffickers in live animals be vetted and breeders selling mutts as pedigree dogs, be ousted!

I would like to share my very positive experience with PuppyFind.com Like all internet services you must be cautious However, through this website I have found much success - applying thorough & person-to-person contact Our family recently purchased extremely beautiful and very well maintained and loved Newfoundlands Newfies from Whispering Pines located in Waynesboro, Virginia This lovely couple absolutely care about their Newfies 150% To them it is not "just a business" but finding good homes for their puppies They have a land that is exquisite and ideal for their early development and safety Having spent time in Whispering Pines of Waynesboro, VA the love and nurturing they provide to this excellent breed (Newfies) is vividly demonstrated and a clear reflection of their healthy and most gorgeous puppies I highly recommend them if you're looking for a great Newfoundland Breeder Carolina of Dutchess County, New York

This company knowingly and willingly associates itself with fraudulent breedersSpecifically, Arctic Alsatians, has been verified to be fraudulently marketing American Alsatians which they do not ownThe extent of this includes stealing photos of actual Alsatians from the founder of the breed, Lois SchwarzThis has been brought to the actual owners attentionMultiple complaints have been lodged with puppyfinder, with the site refusing to take actionBuyers on this site need to beware

I've had the same experience as others that wrote negative reviews I purchased a dog, I contacted Puppyfind with my issues and wrote a negative review My review was removed at the seller's request I sent proof of my purchase along with pictures of the deplorable conditions the puppies were in But Puppyfind still removed my negative review an supported the seller This site has absolutely no integrity I wish I had done my homework on this websiteI've gotten on several sites and see that many people write the same thing about this website

Thumbs up here I have advertised on *** for several years now, and they have a good following for people looking for a specific breed There are great breeders on here, hobby kennel, and show breeders, who breed to perpetuate the AKC standard and who do genetic testing on their dogs to improve the health and longevity in their breedI have purchased top show dogs from this site, and a wonderful DNA tested male for my breeding program as well as a potential show puppy from ads on this siteLike anywhere else, you have to know what to ask for and to do your own researchPeople, who have had poor experiences with some breeders cannot blame the advertising website, which simply publishes the adsThis site is an excellent place to get exposure for your dogs to many potential buyers

Only positive experience

My name is Krista and I am going to go pick up my puppy, (a goldendoodle f1b), tomorrow at noonTo say I am excited about this, Is an understatementI am Equally as happy with the person who sold him to me, His name is HeathHeath had answered an email I left on puppy find a few days agoUnlike many others I spoke to about a puppy, (and I spoke to ALOT of people)...he was very nice, polite and full of information about my puppy and He offered to send me more pictures and a video, which is something NO ONE else offeredHe also went into detail about why the f1b goldendoodle was a good choice for me, based on what I was looking forHe described to me the differences to ensure I was getting exactly what I wantedHe is excellent in his job and I can tell he really likes what he doesHis attitude, helpfulness and willingness to provide me with things I never asked for is what made me to decide to buy from himNot to mention the adorable playful doodle I saw on video and in lots of pics he sentAnd then on top of all that, he offers to meet me halfway so I wouldn't have to do alot of traveling!!! (he must have known I have a driving anxiety in places i'm not familiar with) Anyway.....I would most defininately buy again from Heath and would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a puppy or anything else, for that matterVery pleasant to talk to and to do business with!! my Rating: A+++

In November of we bought a puppy from a breeder (***'s ***'s ) that came with multiple health problems and with multiple bad habits indicating that the puppy was raised in very poor conditionsWe left the seller of the puppy a negative review The review of the seller was taken off of the website by the seller's request Puppyfind then told us that we would have to prove that we actually bought the dog from the seller and that once we did that the review would be reposted After providing proof of purchase, emails between the buyer and the seller and vet records puppy find said that they sided with the seller and that our review would be permanently removed from the seller's profile There is clearly a conflict of interest here because the sellers pay money to list their puppy's on puppy find and even after we showed proof they removed our review This is unacceptable and bad business

Puppyfind allows breeders to remove negative reviews from their own seller profiles so they all appear to be 5?They are notBuyer bewarePuppyfind will side wirh the seller's.if you have a review as the seller pays them a fee to sell a buyer does not

This website knowingly allows fraudulent groups and individuals to "sell" puppies that either do not exist or they do not ownThis is a huge risk for anyone wanting to buy a dog, as you may not receive anything at allI brought this to the websites' attention, and they declined to take actionPlease be careful when looking at dogs on this site

I purchased a dog on puppy find I tried to post a negative review because the condition of the dog Puppy find removed the review because the breeder denied the information was true I provided more than enough documentation to puppy find to support my statements (which they asked for) but because the length of time between purchase and review date was over years they refuse to post the review "out of fairness to both parties" How is it "fair" that people will continue to purchase dogs from this breeder based on inaccurate/one sided reviews? The length of time between purchase and review date does not make my review non-applicable Reviews are meant to be factual and accurate information not "fair"

I have tried to contact Puppyfind for over a week to inform them that my account has Been hacked and I can no
Longer access it Someone has taken over the account and is advertising frauds by puppies or scam pupies
I really need a contact asap and puppyfind is ignoring my requestI cannot find a phone listing, only an email contact for customer support, which they are not responding to
It has now been a week and this is getting bad Please assist
Thank you

I didn't think I would be able to find a puppy that I could fall in love with online but the breeder I worked with had high quality pictures, sent lots of updates and was upfront with all their contracts and paperworkVery happy with who I found and will be contacting them again as soon as I can talk my husband into a second!
