I have raised two bunches of quail chicks so far, and upon moving to AZ I ordered a bunch of them in June. I was called by USPS as soon as they arrived and picked them up in about an hour. Out of the 25 that I received in the mail, 10 were already dead and the living ones were walking over their bodies. Of the 15 left, 10 more died within the 1.5 hours it took me to drive home and dip their beaks in water and try to keep them alive. The last 5 died in the night. They have no responded to my written complain via the website, and I am furious not only for myself but for the wanton disregard for life that was displayed by shipping these chicks during 100 degree heat. My 3 and 5 year old kids were disturbed as well as they watched the chicks actively die. Extremely poor execution of goods and terrible customer service.

I ordered French Copper Maran chicks from Purely Poultry a couple months ago and I am very pleased with the chicksVery healthy, arrived well, and never had a problem with shipping stressThe staff at Purely Poultry communicated wonderfully with all my questionsI used there Chat online and spoke to Meghan and she helped tremendously wellI will go back to Purely Poultry for chick ordersI have listed them on my FB page as a great hatchery to order chicks

My husband and I have done business with Purely Poultry many times in the past and have never had an issue until nowWe ordered two dozen black copper maran eggs ($160) worth of eggs and only one hatchedThey were placed into two separate incubators so that if something went wrong with one we would have the other dozen hatchWe hatch our own chickens monthly and have NEVER had a problemWe typically hatch out of eggs I called to request some kind of compensation (I.eDiscount on another order) and was refused anything$down the toiletThank you Purely Poultry for making this a miserable experience

The customer did place their order on April 6th for female Rhode Island Red chickens w/ vaccination service.The purchase cost was $44.70.We spoke with the customer on July 7th after receiving an email that they believed they had received all roosters.All of our records indicate that he received hensThe pictures did look to include maybe a couple of roosters, butwe took his word and agreed them to be all roosters to appease the customerWe offered to send a fullreshipment of female chicks as our policies specifically state we will never credit more than the purchase costof the birds ordered with losses or quality guarantees.The customer was not satisfied with thisThe customer demanded that we send him started females of equalage at no charge to himWe told him that would not be possible as we are looking at a very large cost to do soand it is against policyWe again offered a reshipment of chicks or a full refundThe customer refused so we didissue him a full refund per our policies on these birdsWe spoke with him a number of times after July 8th toresolve thisThose dates were the 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th and 19th of JulyWe will not send started chicks tohim and it is again very clear in our policies that we will never credit more than the purchase cost of your order forany problems on an order.We refunded him the purchase cost ($44.70) on July 19thOur business is not in started birdsOur business isin baby chicksThis was also relayed to himWe occasionally have small numbers of started birds available, butrarely if ever in the quantities that he is requestingIt would be an unfair settlement even if they were availableand we have followed our policies and exhausted our ability to appease this customer

What a great company to buy chickens from, the chicks are always healthy and they always include an extra one, my chickens are now big and laying the most beautiful eggs that look so nice to sell or give away, I highly recommend buying from this company, one time that I did have an issue the customer support team was the best in resolving the issue

I purchased mallard duck eggs as a present for my children for Easter.....I was told the eggs would arrive at the post office within 48-hours and that the post office would call when they arrived The eggs shipped on Friday....I expected them at the latest on Sunday.....the post office did not get the eggs until Tuesday afternoon It was below freezing and I was very concerned about their viability Out of the eggs, of them were not even fertilized....after calling the company they said sorry they didn't guarantee anything.....I could understand out of eggs possibly 2, but not 5! I will never place an order with them again.....it was a lose, lose situation and I'm very disapointed with their customer service and product quality

I received my Silkie chicks I ordered from Purely Poultry and was very happy with the condition they were in The chicks arrived day after being shipped and were healthy and very alert It has been two weeks now and the chicks are thriving I'm very pleased with Terri's and Meghan's assistance in placing my orderSincerely,
