Review: Over 13 years ago, I was in business for myself and had leased a credit card accepting machine from Lease Financial Group(LFG). My business was closed shortly after leasing the equipment from them and I then returned the equipment to LFG . LFG accepted the equipment back, signed for the equipment which I have proof of, and terminated all of my liabilities and debts on the lease in regards to the leasing agreement since I was no longer in business for myself and was unemployed. Since that time a new company has acquired all of LFG's long term and short term debt, they are called Pushpin Holdings LLC(PPH).This company refuses to speak w/me after numerous calls. All I get when I try to contact PPH is a voice mail or some rude person. PPH began by making threatening phone calls made by a computerized robotic message giver, and now have proceeded to start sending demand letters for a balance of $3,345.17 payable within 10 days or they will unleash an all out bombardment on my current assets in order to recoup the previous company's debt that was already dismissed. I will not tolerate an all out assault on my credit report for something that happened and was supposedly settled 13 years ago. The statute of limitations on these type of cases has past. The company needs to be made aware of what the laws are and quit sending and making the unacceptable threats and intimidating letters over cases that are already have been resolved and are beyond the 10yr limitation for collection. If my credit is harmed due to a lie or an unethical charge by this company, Court proceedings will take place and law suits will be filed immediately. This company needs to be made aware of what the laws are before they get in over their head with these ridiculous charges and threats. From what I have read through researching this company those previous LFG clients who were unaware of the statute of limitations that have paid PPH funds on leases more than 10yrs old, did not get proper credit for their payments and were only told by PPH to pay even more than what was originally agreed to be paid by the clients and PPH...ie a total Scam/Fraud. I will not participate in this illegal activity, nor will I pay these fraudsters a dime and I will not tolerate any harm done to my credit report.Desired Settlement: Apologize for unethical pursuit on a non-collective 13yr old previously resolved case by LFG. PPH has no legal ground to pursue this.

PUSHPIN has recently acquired all of the rights, title interest to certain commercial equipment finance lease agreements and personal guarantees thereupon original held by Lease Finance Group LLC, on its own behalf and as assignee of GCN HOLDINGS LLC, as assignees of LEASE FINANCE GROUP, a division of CIT of FINANCIAL USA, INC. ("LFG"). In addition , the above-referenced commercial equipment finance lease was included in the purchase.

Nevertheless , we recognize [redacted] dissatisfaction with the lease as stated in the complaint. In an effort to resolve this matter amicably, PUSHPIN hereby remise, release and forever discharge [redacted] ("Personal Guarantor") of any and all lease obligations under lease number [redacted]. Such action by PUSHPIN has been taken merely as an accommodation and shall not be construed as an admission of any liability or wrongdoing whatsoever.

Review: Harassing letters, threatening phone calls trying to collect tens of thousands of Dollars for equipment that is worth hundreds of dollars from a business that I was forced out of before their so called collection period started. I have received over 10 calls from them in one hour on some days all with threatening messages.

We are in receipt of your Better Business Complaint pertaining to an Equipment Finance Lease Agreement ("lease agreement") referenced above and thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to the complaints therein.

PUSHPIN has recently acquired all of the rights, title interest to certain commercial equipment finance lease agreements and personal guarantees thereupon original held by Lease Finance Group LLC, on its own behalf and as assignee of GCN HOLDINGS LLC, as assignees of LEASE FINANCE GROUP, a division of CIT of FINANCIAL USA, INC. ("LFG"). In addition, the above-referenced commercial equipment finance lease was included in the purchase.

PUSHPIN acquired the rights of the leasing company, which provided financing for complainant's acquisition of credit card processing equipment. PUSHPIN did not sell the equipment to them nor did LFG provide the processing services. The agreement between complainant and PUSHPIN is a finance agreement. PUSHPIN has provided the funds to enable them to receive the credit card equipment, and the lease agreement outlines the terms and conditions pursuant to which complainant must reimburse PUSHPIN. By signing as a Personal Guarantor, complainant is personally liable for the terms of the contract and their credit report may reflect the manner in which the account has been paid. The equipment is leased "as is" and we make no warranties as to the equipment. The equipment is subject to any warranties made by the manufacturer

Our record indicates that the lease account has been severely delinquent with the monthly lease payments. As a result, it is currently the subject of litigation in Cook County in the State of Illinois.
