I am responding to the complaint against Quality Auto Sales from [redacted] requarding the bill that was sent to him,We did diagnosis for this vehicle and sent him a repair order now he refuses to payWe have signs posted in the office stating no refund of deposit and our diag fee.laura

I had mentioned in my complaint that Quality Auto did not disclose any information about the vehicle when the manager had originally spoken to meI had to investigate to discover any and all information about the vehicleI was very unsure of any other information that the company was covering up.In addition, the companies sales tactics are very questionableI was directed to a trailer on the property and closely monitored not only by the manager, buttwo other sales peopleIt seems to me that Quality Auto is only interested in making money any way they possibly can, if they sell a car or not

There was nothing wrong with the frame, we rechecked the rust & repaired it plus we repaired the leaf spring at no charge to the customer, There was nothing falisified and the vehicle was safe to driveThey were using it for commerical useShe picked up this vehicle 2/24/ The only reason they went to the Revdex.com was because we repossessed the vehicle for lack of paymentWe feel we did nothing wrong Laura

Complaint Information: This consumer states that she was not informed about the transfer of lien as QAS sells loans from there portfolio from time to timeThe contract the consumer signed inform them that the contract can be sold as indicated on paragraphs and There were numerous
attempts to contact her from QAS and the new assignee with no successShe did call QAS and was given all the information needed to make payments to the new assignee, with plenty of time to prevent a delinquencyQAS did everything it needed to do to make this customers transfer smooth, we are not responsible for the fees charged the customer due to lack of payment

I am rejecting this response because: I was never given any information with the new companyI was only told they switch with a place in *** *** and the girl that I spoke with is no longer thereI didn't even receive anything in the mail from the new company until the and my car was taken a couple days laterThe paper I did get from the company had a due date of may I have a copy of that and can mail that if you likeI looked up on the reviews of this company today and they have done this to othersThey have all bad reviewsMy car was never fixed like they said they would do and even said they didThe roof leaks when it rains cuz its rotten and I was told that would be fixed and its notMy muffer was so rotted away that it fell off when I was driving and almost hit another carThe place that fixed it couldn't believe it was sold to me like thatIts not right what they do to people and I'm willing to take this as far as I need toIts just not right. *** ***

I am responding to the complaint against Quality Auto Sales & Services Inc, ** *** called re guarding the recalls on the *** *** he was purchasing, we stated that we do not usually do the recalls, but as a favor to the customer to make him happy we sent up the *** *** to
the *** dealer and had all the recalls done on this vehicleThen after it came back we did all the safety checks and got the vehicle ready for delivery, all the paper work was done and it was all ready for deliveryWe called ** *** to inform him that his vehicle was all set to pick up ** *** no longer wanted the vehicle and demanded his money backAs you are aware we do not refund depositsThere are signs posted about in our dealership stating that there are no refunds of deposit. *** ***

The customer can go on *** and do a *** on any vehicle at anytime, we did not hide anything from the customer , we took care of what the customer asked us to do and got the vehicle ready for delivery , safety check and did all the recalls , paperwork was printed and was set for deliveryThe customer then stated he no longer wanted the vehicleAs I stated before we do not refund depositsits is on the front of the purchase order that he signedWe also have signs all over our establishment saying that we do not refund deposits. This vehicle has no guarantee, we replaced the catalytic converter on Jan 5,at no charge as a courtesy to the customer which was $ The vehicle needs transmission work , the customer was advised not to drive the vehicle that he could damage it further which would make the repairs
more costlyWe offered to fix the vehicle and gave him an approxestimate of $to $which we would pay half ofCustomer refused to have the vehicle repaired and is taking the vehicle back against our advise

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not satisfied with their idea of a "solution" they still charged me $for something that was supposed to be free due to my
warrantyThey also only fixed one side when both axles were messed upI attached a picture that clearly shows when I was promised to not be charged for anything listed on the paper as an issue, yet they have charged me anyways! When I spoke to one of the workers the response was "The guy who told you that didn't know what he was saying and doesn't work on the cars itself." Insinuating that there was nothing he could do about the fact that their worker told me the wrong information and made a falsified document promising that the problems would be fixedI had a month warranty, within that months I had multiple problems involving things that fall under a safety check which led me to question how the car even passed oneWhen I asked I was told that they run their own safety checksThere goes my answerThe first day I took the car home, I went to the gas station to find that my check engine light was on; I went to get it diagnosed and checked out and found out that it was a misfire in the fourth terminalPicture is attached as wellLater on in the day I found that my windshield wipers were not workingThat same day I realized that my back driver side door handle was brokenA week later, had to get new fuzes for my headlights because they weren't working These are parts of the safety checks for a reasonNot only do they not care about the car they sold to me, but they don't care about the safety of their costumers as wellAll the back and fourth with "Forgetting to schedule my appointments and mechanics calling in sick" were all to not fix what should not have been broken to begin withOn top of the gas I keep wasting to have nothing fixed, I pay $a month in car notes, $in car insurance (as a full time student) and still have to pay out of pocket for things that were not my fault and that we're broken when I bought the carAnd as many times as I have complained and tried to give them chances, there has yet to be a real solution to the problem, just cover ups

She purchased the vehicle in March with an 50/50 warranty 60 days or 3000 miles . She bought the vehicle with 108124 , She brought in the last time on 10/2 her mileage was 118673 which is 10549 miles over the warranty of the  vehicle. She came in twice before for oil changes and another oil change which we replaced her brake pads , She didn't say a word to us about her problems with her car until we received this complaint. She is well over her warranty which we honored anyway to make the customer happy. It was a 50/50 split. We feel that we have fulfilled our part. This vehicle was safety checked and passed our inspection. Laura

I am rejecting this response because: Not only are there no signs posted where customers sit with salesmen in a white trailer in the back of the car lot, but I never requested nor authorized any diagnosis or repairs of this vehicle. In fact, it was the evaluation by my own personal mechanic who inspected the truck that determined that I would exercise my option not to purchase the truck and get my deposit returned. Why would I request or authorize repairs on a truck I was not going to purchase. The claim that I requested any evaluation or repair by the dealership is a lie, and apparently they are upset that I have reported their poor business policies.
