This company might be effective from the perspective of an investor, but to be a tenant one should expect inaccessible or absentee customer service. There is no accountability or mediation provided in a multi-family unit, so expect losses in the form of theft, vandalism, and pest elimination as Holton-Wise rents to and retains co-tenants who exhibit criminal and unhygienic behaviors.

I do not accept. They are very unprofessional and lying about the condition of the unit. I have a full video of the unit left in A-1, move in ready condition. I do not appreciate them saying I left the unit in disray. They are not doing there job and wants to take my money because of poor managerial skills. At this pont I would like to discuss the amount of the deposit. The amount was 925.00 She said the amount they had for me was 600.00 on file. That's impossible. I have the lease that (supposed) to be on file when Holton-Wise brought the property. How do you not see the amount on the previous lease? They gave me 450.00 back out of 700 which another manager said she had on file. I told them to contact the previous owners in regards to the deposit and items left in the unit and they disregarded the fact that they could assist them in this matter and did not want to hear from them as well. Very unprofessional. I have 5 sources of proof and they disregarded them all accept to send the video of the property to her email. They still aren't trying to discuss the fact that the deposit amount they have down is wrong. I just want them to correct this matter and return my full 925.00 deposit not 700.00. They charge me 75.00 for general clean up. I lived there for 4 years and I took really great care of that home. To my knowledge after a tenant moves out you get it move in ready for the next tenants. That's called a general clean up. They charged me 125.00 for the removal of items in the attic when Holten Wise brought the property they brought those items as well. Those things belonged to the precious owners. Two headboards, carpet and whatever was left up there belong to the owner. I did not want to take them because they did not belong to me. That would be considered theft. I spoke with Amy the previous owner to verify the items and I spoke with management at Hilton Wise about contacting the previous owners and they told me they don't want to hear from them its no proof. I don't understand its there items and they want to verify it that's proof. I was charged 250 for fees that the homeowners did not discuss before Holton Wise brought the property. 450 deposit+250 fees =700.00. Where is my other 225.00? The 925.00 that's not on file? Where is it? And who is responsible for this error?.

They sold my house. I was pretty happy with them my agent knew what he was doing and always answered my calls even at night. If recommend them to my friends.
