I purchased a used vehicle at Century Auto Group in Springfield, NJ The seller did not honor the listed online price and charged additional money, saying that I did not qualify for rebates that were not advertised online In addition, they steered me toward unfavorable financing and explained that they get a kickback from the lenders for doing so Perhaps most problematic, the vehicle had major engine problems that my mechanic said were covered up through tampering with the vehicle

If I could give no stars I would! I found a car online for a very good price It was a lexus GS I emailed and called about the car on numerous occasions They car fax online was clean and the price was right I called and asked about the price and they told me that was the price I asked if the car fax was correct and no issues They said it was good to go I told them I was coming from Maryland and it was a hour drive I asked if they could hold the vehicle and they said no because it has high traffic and is a hot car I decided to take my chances and drive up there to get the car When I finally made it up there, they tried the old bait and switch! They said they could not sell me the one lexus because it has frame damage They told me they were aware of the damage but the girls in the front desk answering the phone did not They should not be giving information if they are not familiar! They then said they could sell me the same exact car, same color, same interior but it had 5,less miles for only $9,more
I told them I wanted the advertised price and the price I was told of $21, They said that included ALL their incentives which was military, recent graduate AND loyalty reward Since I didn't qualify for any of these that $21,would be $24k if it didn't have the frame damage This place uses deceitful tactics to bait customers In addition, they had been advertising a car with frame damage at a low price and then had the audacity to try and make it sound like I should have known that car would never sell for that low Well you should not be advertising that car at that price!!!! Someone needs to do something about their deceitful practices, their advertisement and their lack of disclosure online regarding issues with their cars I see they have some pending charges against them and I am curious to see how that pans out! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I went to 21st century auto group last week with my mother to look at vehicles and potentially purchase them Upon finally selecting a vehicle that I like and did not have any issues(I test drove suvs one of which had missing buttons and the center console fell out and the other had an issue with acceleration)we sat down to discuss priceThe price that is listed online is not the correct price that is listed on ***, *** also has no disclosures to the price listed but if you go to the dealership website in tiny tiny letters they insinuate that the price is subject to one "rebate" I would first like to say that the wording is tricky and confusing at best and when read at what it says indicates that there may be one rebate which would result in the price, regardless, in addition to these"rebates" which total they have an additional dollars in fees that they charge you for documentation, and insinuate that these numbers are not negotiableIn order to negotiate

There is no true way to receive the advertised price
I went to purchase a vehicle and when I arrived I was told that the price advertised is after application of rebatesI asked about the rebates and realized I qualified for of the rebates after which I was told you cannot combine any of the rebates to a single purchase
I then asked a very specific question which was "If the price is after rebates, yet the most about of rebates I am allowed to apply is 1, How can I get the advertised price?" and I was LITERALLY told by the salesman "You can't, but we can negotiate a price with youWe advertise those prices to stay in competition with other dealers in the area."

Purchased a car and they never disclosed prior vehicle damage Apparently they have settled with the NDCA prior for bad sales practices
