Justice is not yet fully served, so Law Depot's response is, regretfully unacceptable to meYou'd recall that Law Depot debited my credit card for five months continuously, and have managed to refund only two months
Unless, Law Depot is able to clearly demonstrate that I visited their website more than once, and used/benefited from their service, I don't understand under what premise they feel entitled to my money
In my well considered view, Law Depot have no moral right to hold unto three months worth of deduction from my credit card after I visited their website JUST ONCE and didn't find their service useful

We do have you enter your credit card information for uninterrupted access to your documents. There are no charges or pre-authorization to the card if the trial offer is cancelled within the seven day trial period.

billed $33/month if the account is not cancelled within 7 days. The credit card page also provides the same information as well as the receipt on the next page. We sent you an email moments after you selected the trial offer on July 1/15 and that email does state in bold lettering that the account needs to be cancelled within the 7 days and the date and time to cancel by appear in that sentence. We also sent you an email on July 10th letting you know you had a subscription. These emails are archived in your account under Help/Email Us.
There was no cancellation on file until October 7th. As a courtesy, I have refunded the September 9th charge. The refund does take 3-5 business days to process back to the credit card.

clearly indicate the need to cancel within 7 days or the subscription commences. The credit card and receipt page which follow also explain the same details. Moments after the license option was selected, we sent an email to the email address that was entered to establish the account and that email does again state the need to cancel with the date and time to cancel by in bold font. We also sent an email on the first day of billing which was October 4/15. Your monthly or online bank statements also lists the charge.
You contacted us on April 5th and at that time, our agent cancelled the account and issued two courtesy refunds in the amount of $33.00 each. The refunds do take 3-5 business days to fully process. It is unfortunate that your ex used your card but your card agreement does outline the need for you to protect your card from others.
At this time, there is no further refund forthcoming without proof of cancellation.

the $33.00 courtesy refund for the current month and cancelled your subscription, the 2nd agent you spoke with on the same day explained the offer you selected and offered the 2nd courtesy refund. There is no call with an agent regarding refunding the entire amount as this is not possible due to the age of the charges.
When you created your bill of sale, you selected the 7 day free trial subscription offer. That offer does state the need to cancel within 7 days or the account converts to the monthly subscription plan of $33.00 per month until cancelled. When you are on the credit card page, we repeat the offer details. On the next page, you see your printable receipt which also has the terms on the bottom of the receipt. We also sent an email moments after you selected the 7 day free trial subscription offer which has a bolded paragraph stating the need to cancel and the date and exact time to cancel by appear in the email.
We also sent you an email when billing commenced.
We have no cancellation on file until you called on November 24/15. At that point, your account was cancelled and between the two agents you spoke with, the maximum 2 month refund has been issued. The refunds do take 3-5 business days to fully process.

The company stated I called 3 times which is correct.  Each time they asked for my credit card information and I would not provide it and that is correct.  They just don't get the fact that I don't have ANYTHING to do with this company and therefore had no need to hand over my private information.  So, there won't be a need to call that company again.
