These people are outright crooks! I was behind on my payments (2 months) and had made arrangements. The day before I was to go make the payment (had the cash in my wallet) they sent people to repo the car...on private property no less with signs posted. I urge ALL people in this area NEVER NEVER NEVER go to these people!!!!

I am rejecting this response because:
Automatic payments were sent to Chacon autos as priority from April until October when I changed jobs which is also noted in my bankruptcy paperwork.  This still does not negate the fact that I was told that they had no payment history for me on the car purchases 4/2011 and that I had the car for 9 months without payment. Why did they say that and why couldn't the payment history be seen in the computer?

I BEG you PLEASE do not go to this company!!!! Very unprofessional and unwilling to work with you. I was in need of a bigger car because I was having another child I didn't have much of an option. So found one. Come to find out later on total changes and have me some bs answer. Next thing. My car was repoed yesterday due to no ins and being behind on payments. I had valid ins and I was in touch the entire time as to payment arrangements. No explanation of how it got so behind. I've never not paid and got the whole amount for the month. On top of all that now my radio isn't working. Everything was fine until they came and got the car and someone has obviously messed with it. LOAN SHARKS!!!!

I have been very pleased with all the work they have performed on my vehicles. It usually ends up less expensive than I think it will be, and the service is excellent.

I am sorry you felt like you were mislead regarding reporting to credit bureaus.  If you will contact me I would like to discuss your situation as I see you have not turned in your car as stated.  I am sure we can reach a satisfactory resolution.

The customers vehicle was used in the commission of a crime and confiscated by the police.  The car was released to Chacon Autos only for that reason.  We did after customer provided us with a copy of the police report offer to release vehicle back to her as long as she brought her account...

current.  The customer refused this offer letting us know her attorney would contact us.  After no contact for 10 additional days the account was charged off.

As stated in the original response after the account was re-written and the customer filed bankruptcy we did not receive any payments from the bankruptcy courts.  That does not mean payments were not made to the bankruptcy courts however if they were they did not distribute any to Chacon Autos.  Attorneys are usually on priority pay so their fees are paid first.  I suggest she contact her trustee for a record of who receive payments.
