Mr [redacted] lives within a few hours of our North Carolina manufacturing facilityHe is experiencing the exact same weather at his home, as we are here at our shop and corporate officeI'm sure Mr [redacted] is aware that we have zero control over the weatherIt has been raining every day this week which in turn has gave us no option but to reschedule his repairI'm sorry for the inconvenience of the reschedules, but have confirmed that he is on schedule for next Tuesday the 14thWe will keep our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate, but as of now the forecast looks greatI greatly appreciate the customers patience in allowing Eagle to make the necessary repairs to his carportThank you,Chris ***

We will be more than happy to have a crew come back and take a look at the carport to see if anything can be done to divert the water to a different areaPlease be aware that the gable you are talking about, was installed at a later time than the original carport installationThis may be the reason the water is running down the end panel/gable panelAnother reason may be that the carport was installed with a horizontal style roofThe roof panels have corrugations that run length-wise instead of verticallyThe water will run off the end of the building due to the style carport you purchasedBy stating the water is running to the end and down the end gable panel, this would be correctIf you were having an issue with the roof leaking on the interior, that would be considered a repair issueAgain for sake of excellent customer service, I will have a crew come out and look at the carport to see if anything is wrong with the way the carport was installed

I hate there was confusion with the way that Mr [redacted] building was completedThe issue he is speaking of in the above complaint has already been addressed by an associate here at the corporate office (Ash [redacted] )Ash wrote a very detailed work order for the crew to go back and install the "Double-Framing" around his framed opening as well as adding tubing along a side wallI'm not sure why Mr [redacted] sent a complaint to the Revdex.com since he had already been made aware of the work order being put in placeThe customer will be contacted by our scheduling department within the next weeks to set up an appointmentJust so the customer and the Revdex.com know, the additional work that we are doing is not part of a standard installationThe request by Mr [redacted] is something that Eagle should be charging the customer to do, however the work will be performed at no additional cost to the customerThank you,Chris ***

Mr [redacted] is correct in saying that the contract had to be revised with the correct pricingAs of Feb 28th we had a price increaseThe order was taken at the old pricing and sent in over a month after the increaseMr [redacted] is also correct in stating that his building has been rescheduled several timesI know the reschedules are frustrating to the customer, but the customer must understand that we have no control over the weather, which is the reason for the reschedules up until the call he received today to let him know that we had made a mistake due to the Memorial Day holiday and would have to move his job up to WednesdayI am more than happy to give the discount so as that we can all move forwardI will also see that he gets his building on Wednesday with no more issuesA discount of $will be applied to the orderThank you,Chris ***

Ms [redacted] I am so sorry for all the trouble you have had in trying to have the addition of the walls and doors completed on your garageI know how frustrating it is to have to be rescheduled on multiple occasionsThe contractor is coming out of North Carolina to complete the job in OhioWe are in the middle of Spring and the rains have not been very kind to usI do know there was instance that the contractor had an issue with his trailer, but the other reschedules were due to the weatherI have already spoke to the scheduling supervisor and have you on schedule for this coming Monday afternoon May 1stI will follow up with the installer to ensure the job is completedAgain, I am sorry for all the troubleThank you for allowing Eagle the opportunity to come back and complete the garage additionThank You,Chris ***

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12569578, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me In response to the eagle carport response, I am writing to notify you that we did in fact file for the permit to install the carport Our town clerk usually asks for a copy of the contractor's insurance verification with no responseThat is the town's procedurethey said they got no where Thats what held it upSo, we are forced to use our homeowners insurance The permit is not the problem at all The permit was never mentioned till now by eagle carportsI have been told at least times of tentative dates of installIf in fact they do contact us as stated, Jan 24-and it is in factd one beg of Feb, then we will accept the install As said previously, I don't understand why they even accepted the order if they say they don't service NY We seem to be in the middle of a bad dealer and not having service in our area None of this is our fault .Anxiously awaiting hearing from them Hope the weather is not a factor in Feb! No, I'm notGo read your Google reviews, go read your Revdex.com reviewsThey mostly say what I'm saying! They have leaks, customer service is CRAP and RUDE! I just post my own personal review VIDEO on YouTubeGo take a look at it! I'm going to show the people who spend their hard earned money on things to not waist their time with this companyOnce y'all have the money your done doing the right thing with your customers! (I have now witnessed it and read it on MULTIPLE reviews) if your not willing to fix it RIGHT with my SIMPLE offer then come get the building and I will have a more reliable company do it RIGHT the 1st time! I will want a FULL refund as well! So you do the mathPay your guys (which is plenty enough to hold a piece of 36' tin) to now come remove the WHOLE building (alot cheaper to just replace the roof panels) and refund my money! Your company is a JOKE! Chris I have given you the most reasonable offer there is! They put the whole building up in less than hours! It won't be nothing to replace roof panelsYou didn't have to spend the time to find the new right material, get the quotes, get it delivered or anythingI done all the work FOR YOUThis can be all over with if you would just pay the labor and reimburse me for the tin! I am rejecting this response because this will be the second time for eagle to come out and fix the roof when they first put the roof on it leaked and the have fixed it once and it still leaks now the are coming back to fix a fix at what point do you say something is not right lets look into it or find something that worksWhy would you keep doing the same thing knowing that the roof leaked from the first time the garage was up and again when it was so called fixedEven if silicone is put on the roof that is only a band aid its not a permanent fix over time the weather will break down the silicone and the roof will leak again but when that come about the roof will be out of warranty I paid a lot of money for this garage and it should be done right not half cocked using the same set up that leaks Regards, [redacted]

The customer refund has been processed and will be mailed on Wednesday August the 3rdWe only cut refund checks once a month and that is always the 1st week of the monthThe customer called in a cancellation request days after we had cut refund checks for the month of JuneEagle will be mailing a check in the amount of $which is the amount that the dealer sent to Eagle after withholding his commissionThe customer will have to contact Ray [redacted] (dealer that sold him the carport) to collect the remaining 10% $Thank you,Chris ***

Credit card fees from your bank are the cost of doing business, not a consumer problemThose banking fees are also a tax deduction for the cost of doing businessNo other company or business I have dealth with have never charged a credit card feeAs for your product this is the 3rd one we have bought from your company and never had this problem, I will never recommend friends or family to do business with your companyIt's a shame that you will lose valuable consumers over this We will not be doing any more business with Eagle Carports, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] is absolutely correct in that when he purchased his initial 35' structure he did have a 20yr warrantyBy adding on the addition footage to lengthen his carport, that put him past the 36ft mark, which in turn voids any extended warrantyI sent Mr [redacted] a copy of the warranty that was written in stating that any unit with a horizontal roof that is longer than 36' would NOT have any warranty other than the initial workmanship warrantyI will again offer to give him all materials and labor at absolute costWe are not out to take anything from the customer and are more than happy to help him if he decides he wants to have the rusted panels replacedThank you,Chris ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: They lied again They said they would be here yesterday or today, May 17, I've left messages and emails today and nobody is returning my calls Nobody has showed up to fix my garage Additionally, here is the original email I wrote, its not just the anchor bolts as you can see what I wrote in an email to Jeffrey on May There were several problems that I had that I was not going to mention until now.1) There were delays before the garage was completed2) The installers who came were told that this was gonna be on concrete slab They needed bricks, so I have to run around to the neighbors and get brick.3) The installers were also told that there would be power, no one ever asked us if there was electricity at this site So I had to run around and go find gasoline for the installers generator (because they were not prepared)4) The overhead garage doors are not aligned, they will not lock I do hope you get someone out there ASAP because this failed inspection is preventing us from moving our things in it We sold our house and need to store everything in there Regards, Darlene [redacted]
