Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Contacted Tracey from Rainier view  construction and roofing. She agreed upon paying a percentage of the [redacted] mold remediation bill to the toon of $1458.09   I previously  contacted [redacted] and they were told to call or E-mail me as soon as Rainier view cut a check. Upon them receiving payment I will schedule the inspection of the reworked roofing vents to see if the meet there requirements. Then and only then, they can press forward with the mold remediation. I 'm still waiting. Sincerely,[redacted]

We have read the complaint my Mr. [redacted] and take it quite seriously.  At this time, however, I will reserve my response as we will be meeting with him at the property again to review the report he is referring to, as well as further discuss with him what may need to be done to satisfy...

him.  Once we have more information I can comment additionally at that time.
Thank you,
Tracey P[redacted]

We have been awaiting the "report" for sometime.  We now have it.  We will respond to anything which is part of our scope of work.  As far as the payment booklet - your financing was a joint account and was approved prior to his death with the credit union and you were fully aware of...

that fact.  We are in no way in breech of anything and have done everything on the contract.  If there is a warranty or inspection issue again that fits within the scope of work we will be happy to oblige.  The project manager Chris R[redacted] from our company is working with your project manager on site.  I know this is a stressful situation; however, until we had information there is nothing to respond to - we will be tendering additional information after we have time to review the report which was just received this last week.

Complaint: [redacted]Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am almost 70 years old and this has been nothing but stress for over a year. they have been telling me they were going to fix this problem for over a year. after one year I just got tired. I have gone through another 3 to 4 months when I started pushing when that is when the ugly really started. I have given this company over 20,000 dollars and I should have been happy with the job. The problem is not settling of that corner but I am not an expert seems to me that there should be problems some where else everything else is in line. I will not fight them on there excuse why I am having a problem what I am upset about is the false hood that they would  stop that water. It is a big deal to me what is happening to the ground and carport. They said buy Christmas I pray they are not just playing with me again. I have not gotten one e-mail or call from them they responded to you. I am very thankful for that. I am happy with the roof it is the carport that is the problem. If I call any one else to fix the problem they would say that they don't have to honor my warranty in the future for the car port. I have asked him to give me the warranty no. I did not receive it. This should have never gone this far I think 14 months was long enough and the problem is getting worse. it is a big thing to me. I will keep you informed If and when they the problem is fix on they contact me. Thank you very much.    [redacted]
Sincerely,[redacted]

This is being handled by our attorney and due to these issues I cannot comment at this time.  We responded to the AG as well and they closed the file.  The amount to be precise is $6000.00.  The level of harassment has been unbelievable and there is nothing different...

with this response than any of the many others.  Thank you

The customer only made a deposit of $6000 period - and was financing the rest.  The additional was never paid and had we done the job would have been credited off the final payment.  End of story.  The customer cancelled out of recession and it has been turned over to our attorney.  Thank you.

It is our understanding you spoke to Chris R[redacted] our Project Manager yesterday and we are going to do the things in the inspection report, which are added issues.  You responded that was okay and needed to be completed by January 27th which Chris said was fine, we have to work within the weather constraints and that was understood.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I am sorry for your personal issues, however this has no bearing on our roof issue. There has been plenty of time for your company to correct the problems we have.  The work was done in April of 2015, it is now March of 2017! We did in fact pay $14,908.43 for our roof, I have the paperwork. I didn't list every other issue we've had, I could have but didn't. What I expect is to have our roof fixed correctly and all the mold cleaned up and gone. The "leak" we had was not condensation. The only condensation we ever had was only AFTER your company came out and blocked off all of our venting to see where the leaks were coming from. Only then did we get condensation. The ridge vent that was installed was requested by us to make the house more breathable, which only failed. We were told by your company that it was faulty and needed to be reinstalled. It took 4 months for you to do that. We were never told that our home was too tight by anyone from your company or any Manufacturers representative. We knew it was an old house, which is why we asked for all top of the line materials and venting; obviously by the cost of the roof. Our home is only 1100sqft and would never have cost $14,908.43 otherwise. Also the only inspectors that came out were your company and GAF. Your own guy said it wasn't done per your standards, but didn't make any effort to correct any of the issues found at that time, and still haven't. While I appreciate your good will payment for our Christmas decorations, it does not negate the fact that the roof leaked and left mold behind, which your company still has yet to address or correct. You fired the PM on our job and said you'd make it right. You said he was at fault. And yet we have never been contacted to have the mold taken care of, or any of the other faulty work corrected. Black mold is not something that is acceptable, and it should be taken care of. Don tried to tell us it was dead mold and was no harm to us and wouldn't spread. Well it's not and it has! We were also told by Don that the dry rot would be taken care of after the holidays, he NEVER called us back, not once, to arrange for these fixes. Now we have yet another leak for which when we called were told to call someone else and were hung up on. Don has been nothing but condescending and rude. As you full well know, since when we emailed you apologized for his demeanor. So, we tried calling the office to have someone else come out, but were told that only Don does this work and we had to wait for him to call us back. Your personal business has absolutely nothing to do with this complaint, while I feel for you, I really do, it isn't a reason to not have handled our roofing issues prior to now. We have not said anything about this situation that wasn't true and you know that. I am only sorry it had to come to this. We tried to be patient and work with you through all the hardships you have endured during the time since we had the work done, but to no avail.  We have contacted GAF and opened up a case, but you are the original contractor and if you are still in business, you ARE responsible for all repairs and damages.
Sincerely,
[redacted] "[redacted]" [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I met with the owner or Rainier view construction and roofing and he agreed to talk to the sub contractor about some of the proposed fixes [redacted] had put forth to alleviate the mold. He is waitting for a responce. My house is untuched. I'am still waittting. Please reopen my case untill the rework/ full resolution has taken place. Sincerely,[redacted]

I spoke to [redacted] a couple of months ago, she sent pictures and it's barely noticeable, not a water infiltration issue since it is protected by a covered porch area, and not unusual due to vinyl siding expansion and contraction. Even though this has been explained to her, that knowledge has...

evidently not alleviated her concern. If you would like me to take a full day to go down there, I just need to know when she will be home.  I will have [redacted] call [redacted] and see what her schedule is like after the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr. [redacted]:
I am so sorry you feel we have not responded. but to date we have not received any voicemails to our Customer Service team and actually have had no contact since the completion of your project in 2014.  Our warranty is in force for the area repaired, but we do have 10 days...

to respond, had we received a call to respond to, and we would still be within that 10 days at this time - but assure you we have received no voicemail.  Perhaps you were calling a number that is no longer available I am not sure.  You state you called the owner, but I have never spoken to you and I assure you had you called me I would have responded immediately, as would our customer service team.  All voicemails through customer service are automatically transcribed by our Comcast Voice Edge phone system and a copy of every voice mail is forwarded to my email and I assure you I read every one.
Nevertheless, we would like to address your concerns to your small siding repair which was done approximately 18 months ago.  I have printed out a copy of your contract this morning and will have AmyJo contact you to set up a time for [redacted] to come out and take a look.  This will occur in the next 10 days.  In the mean time please make sure you have the right contact numbers - our customer service team is available from 8 AM - 7 PM Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM on Friday, and 10 AM - 3 PM on Saturday at 253-329-2212.  We have 24-hour true emergency service at 253-561-9002 and I can be reached at 253-329-2224 or by email at [redacted]@rainier-view.com.
I hope this response meets your needs and we look forward to meeting with you to address your concerns in the next 10 days.
Thank you,
Tracey P[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  This is not true I call Don yesterday and numerous times and he didn't return my calls so I call him from my work number and he picked up,  I have text message also he would not get back to me.  Of course I am going to be upset they are taking my money and not completing my work...his son Dylan came back to my house and said that once I get the other issue done they would come back  to my house.  I call Dylan and he told me that he don't work there anymore.  Now at that point I never heard anything from the company about coming back or nothing like that, so therefore I started to calling Don and his wife Amy and not a response at all..  So about me be abusive with him after before there were some words because he told me he would get back to me and never did... His on Son said to me the last time they were at my house that there dad was acting very weird and they didn't understand his action. He sent them back out to my house to do the work and they tore the deck up looking for the leak and never came back to put it back together cause they could find the leak.  So now I am sitting with a half done deck and they wont me to continue to pay them, well be professional and come back and finish the job....
Sincerely,
[redacted]
