Dear Revdex.com.Our records indicate that Ms [redacted] order was placed on behalf Merryland Daycare in march A letter was sent by our office to Ms [redacted] confirming her order and the details of said order As always after notification that her paper work had been received we followed up with a verification call We always ask for clients OK to record the verification callOn November 9th Ms [redacted] called in and requested cancellation, that she was no longer interestedWe explained that she had committed to her payments and then she ended the call Read America has entered and placed the order for magazines with the publishers in good faith and just as was agreed upon between Ms [redacted] and Read America, Incand we ask that she honor her commitment.Please except our sincere apologies that this matter has found its way to your respected officeSincerelyScott G [redacted] Read America, Inc

American will not let me cancel the magazine I talk to the manager about, he based said that I can't cancel I told me why I want to cancel Because I don't have the money since my daycare is not doing good at allI am still have problems to get my daycare up and running I have to let people go because they don't paidSo my family and I are going through a hard time right now have ends meetI have send them letters about all this tooI told them in the letter that I want to cancel and they them take my name and phone number off their listI tried to talk to them they don't listen or care about what I am saidThat is why I hang up on themIf you have any questions about this Let me knowThanks, [redacted]

Read! America, INC is a scam they called to say company to company that we can order magazines for $for years pay for only then when my clients realized the total was going to be over $they wanted to cancel, upon calling their number back we were told oh you all agreed and now you have to pay for the services stillWe were also told that we could not cancel the books that they would continue to come and call us for the payments, they received one payment and that will be the only payment they get I had to call each magazine company to notify them that their services were not going to be needed with us any longer

Dear BBB, please accept my sincere apologies for this matter finding it's way to your respected offices. As you are aware, we here at Read America, Inc. do everything in our power to prevent scenarios like this from happening. When I personally spoke with our clients husband, Joe... (10.12.15 9:00am), he had no interest in reviewing the recorded verification that we have on file or he would most certainly understand that Mrs. [redacted] committed FULLY to this order. As you also know, Read America asks for permission to record the final verification call to make sure that all is as agreed. We do this for every client. It's actually for the protection of our clients. We are committed to clients by pre paying the publishers for their order, which is also explained.Read America never implies "Books" These are magazines and we refer to them as such. Mrs. [redacted] has the money part "almost" correct. What she fails to mention in her complaint is the fact that her service is for 36 months but payments are for only 18 months. Our clients pay nothing the 2nd half of their 36 month service because its P.I.F. in the 1st 18 months. During the final verification call Mrs. [redacted] even changed a few of her selections? Mr. [redacted] obviously wants this stopped but his wife ordered it. We spoke with her on 7.30.15 then called Mrs. [redacted] back same day to confirm order. Then on 8.5.15 we contacted Mrs. [redacted] again to make sure that all was correct on her copy of order that she had received from the U.S.P.S. All was as agreed. We thanked Mrs. [redacted] for the order and for her permission to allow recording of verification. I'm sorry if Mrs. [redacted] thought our folks at Read America were rude. That doesn't sound right and I will certainly be following up on that. I do know that Mr. [redacted] was not too understanding when I spoke with him and I had to cut the call short. We have removed Mrs. [redacted] from auto charges to her credit card. She will receive old fashioned paper bills from here out.Bottom Line... When we ask a new client if they want our service THREE separate TIMES and they say yes Each Time, then it's time to stop asking and enter the order with the publishers. How many times should we ask if they want the service? 4 times. 5 times, 6 times.............. the response is basically what I already statedi do not want these magazines I do not want this company taking anything else out of my account

I am happy to report that [redacted] called me back today and was able to cancel my orderRead! America had already taken my payment of $so I will be receiving one subscription for Family CircleThankfully I was able to cancel the full order because I simply could not afford the full planThank you [redacted] for being so quick and efficient!

Dear Revdex.com; Thank you for forwarding this to our attention This response is in reference to [redacted] *** Ref # [redacted] Our records show that the order for [redacted] was placed on May 25th At the time Ms [redacted] indicated that she was the Director of [redacted] *** If one was to look up Ms [redacted] on Facebook, she confirms it there On June 13, 2016, we called Ms [redacted] to verify her new order and to make sure her paperwork was correct Read America asked for and was given permission to "record" the verification callWe also thanked Ms [redacted] at the end of the verification call for her permission to record the verification Once again she indicated that she was authorized to make this purchase on behalf of [redacted] *** When the account became delinquent in September of 2016, we called Ms [redacted] on the 6th and she indicated that she would indeed send a payment of the following dayOn September 19th we followed up because we had not received the promised payment Once again Ms [redacted] indicated that she would call back and provide a payment on her credit card on Oct 1st Needless to say Ms [redacted] never followed up on that promiseSeveral times we were told Ms [redacted] would call us back, she never did We have tried several times to contact Ms***since then When we identify ourselves they simply hang up now We then asked to speak to the owner, on Oct 21st, "Barbara" called and spoke with a customer service rep here Barbara said she talked with Ms [redacted] regarding this matter and Ms [redacted] claims she did not place the order for our service We played the recorded verification for Barbara and asked that she honor the commitment of her own Director and fulfill the order as promised We were under the impression that Barbara's intention was to honor the commitment We have tried to reach Barbara to discuss the order and the complaint filed to the Revdex.com and were told that Ms [redacted] does not work there and they hung up?

Dear Revdex.com; Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention We are sorry that this matter has found its way to your respected office Just an FYI into our process1st contact is to get interested party, then we follow up every order with a confirmation call Ms [redacted] agreed to everything and we gave credit to Sales Rep and entered order with Ms [redacted] 's final ok! Then as a courtesy we call one final time to verify order After consideration of the misunderstanding we will be stopping the service for Ms [redacted] No payments will be due and we will be returning check number to Ms [redacted] .We wish Ashley much success in her Daycare businessDaycare operators do not receive the admiration they dearly deserve Sincerely Scott G [redacted] Read America, Inc
