ReBath Reviews (30)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint

[redacted],

I did receive a call from [redacted] that Re-Bath will replace my walls and replace our tub liner with a new

tub and fixtures. Since our pattern is no longer available I would need to pick a new pattern. Bill Foster came

to our home and gave us the patterns to pick from. But we had all 3 walls and ceiling around the tub along with

the other wall in our bathroom all matching. Now they will only replace the 3 walls surrounding the tub, no ceiling

no outer walls. [redacted] had no ideal that we had the entire bathroom done. When she told me that my walls

would all be replaced she had no concept as to what we had remodeled thru them. She did not do her research

as to what was involved.

Now I have not heard a word or even returned e-mail from Re-Bath and I am no further

in getting my bathroom resolved then before. Also I signed a paper against me will that Bill Foster made me sign

when he was at my home. He did not give me time to read it in detail but only stated that I must sign showing

that he was here with us.

I really do not like dealing with Re-Bath and something needs done with their everyday

practice of business.

Please re-open my complaint # [redacted] regarding Re-Bath!

Sincerely

[redacted]solve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted]  Glad to get the message about my complaints about Rebath.  I am not happy , because they they told me everything was guaranteed,  The color has come of of the fixtures in the tub. We chose bronze and paid extra for that. Now it has turned green and I have  tired to clean it. Now it's like a chrome in the drain. I have  papers dying this was the.for the life of the tub. I would be happy if they would just  honor their guarantee. And come and fix this mess!

10/14/14  The...

complaint is for a product that we (Re-Bath, LLC) do not manufacture. I called [redacted] and was not able to reach her.  I left her a voice message to please call me.   I will be providing her with the manuafcturer’s contact information.  I will continue to follow up if I do not hear from her.

I just had a complete bathroom remodel with Rebath in Dublin Georgia. First of all, I was told it would take 6 days - it was almost 3 weeks. The finishing / sheetrock work / painting / caulking was horrible! I'm embarrassed for anyone to see the bathroom! We contacted the owners 2 weeks ago (upon completion) to tell them how dissatisfied we were and to come look at the finished product. Not only did they laugh at us over the phone, but they have yet to show up to look at the mess we were left with. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I also informed them we had to hire someone else to come in and repaint and do all the sheetrock work over again. And to be clear, I would NOT have the same employees of Rebath come back to redo anything - - - they are the reason it is such a mess! It will cost me over $500 additional to have the repairs done by a PROFESSIONAL .... I did tell Rebath this and suggest that they need to pay for it. I did get a check in the mail (with no note, no apology, nothing) for $250.00 2 days later with "sheetrock repair" written on the tagline. I guess they think that is fine and I should have to pay half of their screw up. It is positively disgusting - I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!! If this is their quality of work, I shouldn't have to worry - they won't be in business long. I wish I could add photos to this review for you all to see.

Review: on April 8th 2015 I singed a contract with rebath of h-town to remodel my 2 bathrooms,

the sales man quoted me $25000.00 for the master bath and $5000.00 for the upstairs bath,

but he didn't wrote that on the contract ,I paid a deposit of $10000.00 and the rest when the job is done, they did the upstairs bath on the first week of June and then keep postponed the master bath until I received a call from the corporate office telling me that this franchisee is out off business that was about July 22nd 2015 and they transfer me to another franchisee how asked double the money to finish the job .

I believe that this franchise still operating and just playing game with the corporate office and the other franchisee to get rid of this contract ,all what I'm asking for is a refund off my $5000.00 .

thanks.Desired Settlement: refund

Review: Company continuously delays in making warranty repairs on shower that was installedDesired Settlement: Replace or repair our shower without any more months of delay.

Hello Revdex.com,Thank you for bringing this consumer complaint to our attention. Upon receipt of this complaint, I called the ReBath franchise ([redacted]) and spoke with the franchise owner; [redacted] is aware of this issue and called Mrs. [redacted] this morning and scheduled an appointment for June 15th 2015. At this appointment the service provider will remove and replace 1 or possibly 2 (if needed) shower walls that have separated from the existing wall. Mrs. [redacted] is satisfied (At this point) with the upcoming scheduled appointment to remedy this issue. Please let me know if I could be of further assistance.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service SpecialistReBath, LLC

My home hired Rebath for 2 bath remodels the last week of June, by end of July they had met with us 2 times to take the order, because they were not prepared the first time ,the first visit they were all about coming early getting financing done but once they had my money they were done being helpful, they call whenever they want to never when any decision maker is home , don't return phone calls or leave direct contact information to people so when you want to speak to anyone you have to call half a dozen numbers then get a promised call back that wont happen for several days if at all so here I am 25 thousand dollars paid 6 weeks later and not only zero work completed , I have no appointment at all for any work to begin they still have to come out to do one more measure because apparently this is not done when the order is placed , they verify measuring after your order should have arrived to them, which of course means that if they need to alter the order in any way ill have to wait weeks more to get anything done this could be months more who knows ? a terrible experience I don't care if they finally do the work tomorrow and everything is perfect I still hate them for the stress oh and I'm told they don't paint so when they are done I have to also hire painters for even more money to finish their work , a fact they did not tell me until I already paid them for the remodels , and they do not do any electrical so I have to hire an electrician at this point it seems like 25k does not get you much and certainly doesn't buy any amount of respect I have 4 more larger rooms to remodel and I plan to pay around 25k per room so Rebath service lost about 100K by treating my house like [redacted], ill be hiring a local general contractor instead who can take my order all at once and give me a date to begin work all in one appointment, someone who can give me a personal phone number to reach him and who will not make me hire other people to finish the jobs

Review: The doors on the rebath shower install came off their tracks when I was trying to close them. One door fell and broke. They are telling me that I must pay for the new door. This supposed to be a lifetime warranty. Customer service will not contact me to discuss.

Hello,I have been in contact Aaron at the ReBath of Harris County. Aaron and Ms. [redacted] have come to an agreement. The franchise is replacing only 1 glass panel of the shower enclosure and replacing the hardware. Ms. [redacted] agreed to pay for the replacement parts. At this time, the parts have been ordered and upon receipt, the franchise will install the replacement items.Kind regards,[redacted]Custmer Service, ReBath LLC

Review: In 2008,bathroom fixtures that were used in the tub and shower were defective, the finish came off ..therefore they all corroded within 1-2years. Many, many phone calls and text messages have been made and nothing has been done to correct this problem. Several different people have been supposed to have "taken care" of the problem, then only to find out in a week or two that the person no longer works with the company. 3 years, still looks bad!Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is that the company stands behind the products that they choose and to honor their warranty!

Review: In 09/06/2005 Re-Bath installed a complete new bathroom. At the [redacted] Home Show we spoke with [redacted] & [redacted] explained that our black tub liner was fading and [redacted] and I were told that we have a lifetime warranty on this tub liner, which we already knew about. That we would not receive another black one due to the company no longer making but that we would receive a new tub not a tub liner but new tub. Weeks later I spoke the [redacted] and she sent a man to my home to see the tub and take pictures. He went into his truck and came out with a bottle and rag. I asked what it was and he told me cleaning solution and he proceeded to clean the faded areas of the tub. Then when finished he took pictures. The next day [redacted] called me told that the problem was a "cleaning problem" and to use [redacted] (blue color) and a soft brush several times and this would all go away. I told her that it is not a cleaning problem but we would try what she had told me to do. So we did five times we cleaned the tub just as [redacted] told us to do and there was not change in our tub liner. When she gave me the [redacted] instructions I did ask her if this does not work what then and she told me that I will need to speak with [redacted] in the corporate office because as far as she was concerned this matter was over because the manufacturer claims overnight due to the pictures that we damaged this tub. Our bathroom is eight years old and looks like the day it was installed and anyone can come and check this out themselves. So I called [redacted] as per instructed by [redacted] and I was told that is matter needs to be handled by [redacted] at the office location and she will have her call me back. Well, it is two weeks later and still no call from [redacted] or any other employee from RE-BATH regarding my tub liner or bathroom.Desired Settlement: All I want since I have a lifetime warranty on my bathroom is the tub liner replaced at no charge just as my husband and I were told at the Home Show in [redacted].

Response:

Hello Revdex.com

[redacted] informed me today that she has declined our "Goodwill" offer to replace her damaged ReBath liner with new ReBath Tub (not a liner), 3 Wall panels, 1 Ceiling panel, 1 corner shower tower, 1 grab bar, 3 sheets of wainscott, 1 piece of tri-guard, and 1 shower rod. At no charge as requested by [redacted].

Below is a list of what transpired between corporate office, the franchisee, and Mr. and [redacted].

1) The warranty was voided due to the use of unapproved cleaning products.

2) However as a gesture of Goodwill, ReBath corporate office agreed to replace the ReBath product at no cost to them.

3) The local ReBath franchise agreed to install the ReBath product (listed above) for half of the cost of their current labor rates.

4) 10/24/14 The customer signed an agreement with the local franchise to pay half of the labor cost.

5) 11/6/14 The customer posted a second complaint to the Revdex.com

6) 11/6/14 I called the customer and gave her an update on our progress. She asked if there was a charge, and I said that we are not charging for the product noted per our earlier discussion. She asked about the labor, I advised her to speak with the franchise.

7) 11/7/14 The franchise called and advised me that [redacted] told her that per corporate, there is no charge for labor.

8) 11/7/14 I called the customer and reiterated what we discussed the previous day. [redacted] stated that she declines our offer.

9) ReBath corporate office believes that we have fulfilled our obligation and considers this matter closed.

Please let me know if further information is needed.
