The redirect distributors that services Virginia are horrendous. Wally Hayden is the person who delivers and SUPPOSE to offer support never returns phone call. He does NOT returns call for orders, parts, and general help. I have never had a salesperson of such sad character that sells a product. I have a Dr Wellness swim spa. I wish I had never had to deal with Wally Hayden or his son Matthew they show such neglect in customer support.

*** from the company stated that the consumer was delivered the *** spaThey have extras for the *** spa and the employee that wrote it down wrote the *** instead of ***

I spoke with the business and they stated that the problems with the spa would not hurt the functionality of it. The business will put the consumer on their list and will be down in the area in a week or so to fix the hot tub problems.

I spoke with a gentleman from the company and he stated that he will notify the accounting department and it will take about a week to process. The refund will be applied to the credit account.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business and he stated that the consumer bought the spa and they delivered it and the consumer called and said that a light was not working the spa. [redacted] stated he offered to send someone out to repair the light because that is not a defect with the tub. He stated that...

the contract that was signed is a 25% restocking fee and the consumer would have to pay the shipping charges to return the tub.

Recdirect has not  called me to set up to come out to repair the tub, I am tired of each time having to go through so much with them, payment came out my account without a problem. I sent a compliant prior to for my refunds of all monies paid without any further fees from me, if they continue to not do the right thing where my monies are concern, I have no other alternative ut to file a law suit. I will see how they respond to you. I will inform an attorney at that time that I tried another method. They have done this same thing to other customers previously, hopefully by me bringing this to an end others will follow as well as any new customers will know in advance. I will put my info out there through an attorney when the time comes to personally contact me, I wouldn't want others to have an experience in which I'm dealing with. As you may know the amount of refund I asked for it goes up each month as it is from my account. At this time I expect a refund. Thanks for your continued cooperation in this matter.

Kindest Regards,

This is a totally different situation than before, I am aware of the $169, however no one has contacted me about the bad jets in the tub not working, this is my issue that needs immediate attention, I have paid since day 1 on the tub along with $1000 down each month I am being deducted, I have not been able to use the jets (all) since I had it as well as I paid additionally for an ozonator which I believe hasn't worked as well. I am requesting payment to cover me not being able to use some jets which was the purpose for health issues. I will not close the case until action has taken place on this, thanks in advance for your continued cooperation. My next step is the local television stations , then an attorney. Thanks

There were several issues with the defective tub that was delivered, the busted light was the least of the issues.  I did not get the Spa I ordered and paid for. The one that was delivered is a malfunctioning, sun damaged model that has cracked side panels.  None of the accessories were delivered at the time of delivery, the professional  installation that I paid for was not provided and the lid to  the spa matches the model I ordered and NOT the model that was delivered, which means the spa cannot be closed tight or properly.
If I cannot get the model that I ordered and paid for, I  want a full refund of my $6,200.00 and the spa picked up immediately.  Nothing else will do!

I was recently forced to file complaints against RecDirect with the Revdex.com in both Atlanta and in Tennessee.

I recommend that consumers do not buy from RecDirect. We purchased a spa and called about it week after week after it was supposed to be delivered. The salesman, Carey Allred, never even checked on it. Each time he just said "call back next week". He tended to be rude and flippant as if it wasn't worth his time.

We finally called the factory directly and were told it would ship out by the end of that week or early the next. Two weeks later we had not heard a word from them. After 7 weeks we had to dispute the purchase on our credit card because RecDirect will attempt to charge $1000 - $2000 to cancel an order.

We didn't cancel it, however; we just never received the merchandise. If a customer was to actually receive merchandise from them I cannot imagine that they would honor a warranty after having dealt with them on the sale.

Everything we were told turned out to be untrue even when we spoke with the factory directly. It was a huge mistake to do business with them, and as of now we have to consider the sale to be a fraudulent transaction.

After I lodged complaints with the Revdex.com in both Georgia and Tennessee because RecDirect failed to deliver merchandise I paid for, Mike Thomas, VP of Operations at RecDirect sent me harassing text messages. Over the course of an hour he sent me 101 messages (literally). First, he threatened to charge me 25% for the item they never delivered. Then he went on to send a host of other threats. Here are some of the threats he sent me verbatim; “Wanna play hardball? Let’s do it”, “I will give you till 5pm to call me back and after that don’t bother”, “Better call your lawyer because that’s next step”

Who talks to customers like that? What kind of business has upper level management who conducts themselves like that? The fact that RecDirect has executives who threaten customers in that manner says a great deal about their business practices. Really shameful.

Don't buy from RecDirect. We purchased a spa and called about it week after week after it was supposed to be delivered. The salesman, Carey Allred, never even checked on it. Each time he just said "call back next week". He tended to be flippant and rude as if it wasn't worth his time. We finally contacted the factory directly, and the man there said that the tub would be delivered that same week or the next. Two weeks later no delivery, no word from anyone. After 7 weeks we had to dispute the purchase on our credit card because RecDirect wants to charge $1000 - $2000 to cancel an order. We didn't cancel it though; we just never received the merchandise. Everything we were told turned out to be a lie even when we spoke with the factory directly. Huge mistake to do business with them.

Review: In the contract I bought a new [redacted] I received a white used hot tub that was cracked. I am requesting my money back. Recdirect admit they sent me the wrong one but refuse to return my money I have made numerous attempts to speak with the owner and have not received any return calls. the middle man spoke derogatory words to me. I spoke with my sales clerk who said they admit I received the wrong one but there is nothing he can do until upper management tells him. this is a $4,000.00 sales. and I want my money back because they did not send me the hot tub I paid for.Desired Settlement: total refund

Review: I AM AWAITING A REVISED CONTRACT FROM THE ABOVE FROM A RETURN. THIS SHOULD CHANGE MY EITHER AMOUNT OF DEBIT OR CHANGE IN MONTHS TO REPAY. I HAVE ASKED FOR A REVISED CONTRACT TO ATTACH TO MY CURRENT ONE TO ASSURE THAT I WAS CREDITED FOR A RETURN AND IT DID REFLECT MY ACCOUNT. I NEED TO HAVE IT SENT VIA USPS WHERE EVERYTHING WAS CORRECTED. IT THEREFORE SHOULDN'T BE THE SAME TERMS IF INDEED THERE WERE A CREDIT (SUCH AS BALANCE, MONTHS OR AMOUNT DEBITED OUT OF ACCOUNT) I WOULD LIKE THIS TO BE REVISED AND SENT TO ME IN WRITING THROUGH POSTAL SERVICE TO ATTACH TO MY RECORDS.Desired Settlement: TO RECEIVE VIA USPS A REVISED CONTRACT WITH CHANGES.

Response:

I spoke with the company and they stated that they is not a revised contract. The consumer was credited the amount returned on her account.

Review: I ordered a brand new [redacted]. RecDirect delivered a used and defective [redacted]. I initially requested to have the correct model delivered and the wrong model picked up. But after several failed attempts to resolve this issue, (including horrible communications with the company Salesmen, Showroom Employees and Customer Services Regional Manager), I decided that I did not want their unsatisfactory products and requested a full refund. I made this request within 3 days of delivery. To date, the Salesman only wants to 'fix' the defective wrong model that was delivered to me.Desired Settlement: Since I did not get the Spa I ordered, and the Company has been unwilling to exchange it or provide a refund for the product difference, AND the fact that the Spa that was delivered was defective...I only want a full refund of all of my money!!
