I have been a client with Refresh for almost 3yearsI have a loan intended to improve my creditUp to this point, customer service was excellent and I had no complaintsYou can withdrawal funds from your loan and I decided to do so mid November of this year to get funds for ChristmasThe agent talked me into waiting until December 1st to process it to access an extra $He said he would process the withdrawal and there would be no need to call backWhen I checked on Dec 5th, it had not been processedI spoke to another agent who processed it at that time and I said I would receive the funds in 7-business daysIt did not arriveI called today, December 20th, and was told it will be a further 5-business days which will mean the money will of arrive after ChristmasI made arrangements in time and was guaranteed if I waited until Dec 1st that the money woukd be inRefresh Financial did not follow through on processing my withdrawal Dec1st and further never notified me of

I started this loan back in 2015, and this has been the worst experience I've ever had with a companyOnly a few months after I signed up, I couldn't afford these bi-weekly payments, and I was not made aware of these ridiculously high NSF feesthe're are fees around every corner with the NSF fees are greater then the initial paymentSo, I wanted to close my accountI was told that closing my account was easy and I could do it at any time, but when I tried to close it I was told of another feeThe only option I had was to decrease my loan amountFor three years now I've done nothing but make payments to this company, and all that I have is an insane arrears balance with more interest rates I will have to payI'm left owing the company money

Had problems throughout the duration of the program - it took far longer than it should to correct an issue on their end where they were not reporting properly to the credit reporting agencies (as in the sole service they supposedly provide) the initial setup cost is excessive and the interest rate is obscene since they effectively hold the loan in escrowThey also wanted to charge an early withdrawl fee to access accumulated funds (something they frequently state as being an option) after over a year of payments.) It's impossible to determine what effect they had on credit rating but the type of loan they provide shows up no differently than a student loan
They were aware I had student loans and still recommended the service - effectively selling a worthless product for an insane amount of profit on their end, all the while disguising it as a public serviceAbsolutely would not consider recommending them in any regard, there are better options and they are obscenely exploitative, all the while pretending they're helping you

Back in April of this year I *** into this "Personal Savings Loan" that would rebuild my credit I was originally in need of vehicle finance through Canada drives However somehow instead of being given anything to do with what I was originally needing, I was passed off to this "personal loans" department All if this was happening while I was at workI was told I was approved for an amount like and I was told that with SMALL monthly payments onto this "loan" my credit would increase dramatically in about months I was extremely weary and uneasy and explained to the girl on the phone that I did not feel right about it As I was on the phone with her on speakerphone she told me "Im just going to send you a link and all I need you to do is click on the boxes and then it will be sent back to her" so assuming this was something I needed to check off for no further calls etc I followed her direction After that was done, she said that I was now on their program to

I applied for a secured card card with Refresh Financial They took my application and told me I was approved I was sent an approval email asking to send an email transfer for the deposit I sent the transfer and they accepted it within hours
The email also said that I would receive another email when my card was on its way weeks later after not hearing from them I was told I was declined
They said something about my ID not being valid I sent new ID via email and the rep said they would be following up with their operations team
Two weeks later after hearing nothing I called again and was told by the rep that he was going to follow up with his operations team and get back to me I told him that I want to cancel the application He said he will get the process of returning my funds and get back to me Then nothing, no response I escalated to a so called manager and was told that a cheque would be mailed to me They confirmed the date it was mailed but th

Refresh financial was promoted to me by their partner Easy Financial who convinced and deceived me into a loan from Refresh financial it was not a loan but a reverse loan calling itself a savings loan taking payments from my account and charging interest on the payments, I never received documentation and when I wanted to cancel I was charged a fee plus extra for no product or service
The company holds the borrowers loan proceeds in a *** in the company's name and collects the interest that should be paid to their borrowers

I started with Refresh Financial on *** by recommendation of ***I have been paying fees every monthI decided to cancel it, I tried calling them and it always goes on voicemailI called them again today and got a hold of someone named *** with a phone number from ***I said I wanted to cancel it but he said I have to pay my outstanding fees first, I asked him for the details of the fees but he insisted on withdrawing the funds firstI said I have enough funds paid to them to cover for the fees and I actually think I can be refundedHe said I have nothing but an outstanding balanceI said email me the details of the fee first and then I will call back then I hang upHe called me back saying "i know you're not going to call back" and he kept on insisting on collecting the fees - he said he already set it up to be withdrawn even I did not agree to it

I signed up with Refresh Capital Corp Inc also known as Refresh Financial in the beginning of to improve my credit rating I was told that my direct payment of $would be done monthly and a small fee would be charged to complete the credit report the remaining funds would be placed in trust for me These funds I could remove, borrow against or take out a portion as an advance The amount of advance would depend on what was in trust at the time After considering this decision and calculating the small, the difference in the number of years to pay and what it seemed to be costing me, I called them to cancel my agreement which I had signed a week prior I was told that someone would call me back They did but many days later, passed the days Then I get told to get out of this agreement I would have to pay $

after a long conversation with a representative, I was made to feel like this was a good ideabut I was not complete informed that what I was signing onto was a three year contracteverything else was well informed but when I read into it more after I had signed up I quickly realized that it was for a much longer term than I wanted or requiredI quickly asked to have it canceled and seem to have got out of it but not with out some pressure and intimidationI do believe this could be a good service not a loanessentially that what it is, a serviceyou pay so much to have them send in good reports on your behalf and then get a return once your term/ contract has endedif any one decide to go this route please realize that you are signing a three or more year contract for a service
