[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because advertisement on a delivery promotional.The complaint is I bought a complete set of furniture during a promotional that offered free delivery based on purchaseThe company delivered part of my furniture, but not allThe assumption was the other part was on back orderI went into the headquarters to query about another matter (damaged merchandise) and I was informed that the final item has been in the warehouse for quite some timeI questioned why they haven't called to notify me or delivery the itemThey stated because they split the item delivery, I was responsible for paying for the second deliveryI questioned why I wasn’t provided notice that they were split the delivery (Basically invalidating their promotion by creating cost that wasn't part of the original contract.) They said they have a recording of me saying that I would pick up the item myself When I explained that I would have never offered to more the sofa/sleeper myself since I did not have the appropriate vehicle to do so, they explained well they have a recordingWhen I asked to hear the recording to confirm if it was my voice or a company ploy, they explained that it was against corporate policy for me to hear the recordingThen I clearly asked so even if I didn't approve of this, how can they charge me? And I was required to call customer service with no reliefEarlier this week I was forced to pay $for a invalid promotion that was a misunderstanding per the company and their delivery serviceSo I expect to recieve my money back in leui of their mistake v Regards, [redacted]

We're not claiming the customer damaged the itemsWhat we are saying is that, in accordance to our policy, items that are purchased off the floor are sold 'as is'The customer can dispute this by writing to the board of directors at: [redacted] Otherwise, we apologize but there's nothing more we can do given the policy

Customer was scheduled for delivery on 12/for 12/Items came in and the ones that were damaged will be replaced

Not every single piece was damaged upon delivery; this was reviewed by the Service DepartmentThe pieces that WERE damaged, have either been replaced with new items or repaired as of 11/29/20`Customer signed paperwork stating they accepted the repairs/replacements

Yes it does, on the back of the invoice - it specifies that "unless special order item."
The merchandise is listed to be in by the 24th of JanuaryIt's well witin the time frameIf it exceeds this by more than a week, the customer is entitled to a refund

Customer can cancel the merchandise, however, there would be a pifee for the furniture to be picked-up

I am rejecting this response because I went to the business on the 19th of October and informed them that I wanted my money backThere were days where the business was closed which makes days last week WednesdayI should have received my money on Wednesday the th of nov not "sometime this week"The contract stipulates days, not when ever they feel likeThis is time sensitive, I have rent to pay and other bills due this weekThis money should have been returned to me last week so I could get my rent and other books in orderIt's also time sensitive because I have visitors coming this week and I needed extra furniture before they got here so that there would be enough space for everyone to be comfortableThat is unacceptableIf I am unable to pay my rent I should be reimbursed for any charges added to my rent and any other action that I have to take if evictedThank you.

Customer can have a Saturday delivery for the amount they've already paid for standard deliveryCustomer can email [email protected] in order to schedule a Saturday delivery

Actually, the merchandise too a little bit under weeks to come inHad it taken over weeks, then the customer would have been entitled to a refundThe customer is scheduled for a delivery on 4/17/

We will be sending a technician to inspect the merchandise in order to determine whether or not this was a manufacturing defect

Customer wasn't sold "bogus" warranty - we've been selling warranties for over a decade nowShould these warranties turned out to be bogus, the entire company would have collapsed by nowThe warranty company - which is a seperate company - denied the claim because they have conditions for action
This particular damage did not meet those conditionsThere are a list of conditions that specify what kinds of damages are and are not coveredSun damages aren't the only types that are covered (this kind of damage does happen sometime - the assertion of sun damage "never" occurs is not only untrue, but false
Finally, the customer had their rails replaced soon after their initial deliveryThey're out of their one-year manufacturing warrantyWe will not be servicing merchandise
