Reliable Resin Reviews (23)

Review: I ordered some resin cast model parts from Reliable Resin on April 8 , 2011 .

The website says to allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery . I waited the allotted time , but received nothing . I then contacted the business , spoke with the owner .

He said he was having a few problems with certain parts , and would need more time . I said that was OK .

I waited again , and still received nothing , so I again contacted him . He claimed he had shipped the parts , but I in fact did not receive anything .

This happened many times over the last 2 years , he always has an excuse of one kind or another for why I have not received any parts .

I have contacted him by e- mail many times , have spoken on the phone several times , but I have grown tired of his excuses .

I paid for these parts when I first put in the order . He has sent no parts , or even offered a refund .

The value of the parts is about $ 89.00 USDesired Settlement: I want these parts delivered to me immediately .

If he can not to do so , I want a full refund , also immediately .

I do not want to wait any longer for these parts .

To whom this may concern

We did indeed have a situation w/ 1 item in order , a set of decals

After [redacted] & I spoke we made an adjustment to replace the set of decals w/ equal of greater value items

We did indeed have a few set backs here due to Mother Nature ( Hurricane Sandy ) bonified "reason" not an "excuse" with that being said, we did indeed ship a pkg w/ a present day value exceeding the mere $80+ submitted to us as payment for model car parts

With the enormus fee's for International Delivery confirmation that the USPS charges , we sent 1st pkg w/o DC

A few weeks later [redacted] contacted us "claiming" never recv'd pkg ( in Canada )

Being the Honest & bigger individual in this particular transaction , I shall be sending a 2nd pkg ( valued at over $100 ) 1st thing Monday 6/8/13 to [redacted] address stated in the "claim" ,

I shall also be taking a photo of the USPS reciept & submitting it as evidence & proof pkg was shipped . If [redacted] is willing to pay for International Delivery Confirmation ( approx $25 > $30 ) he has our [redacted] acct ID

At this point I'm now out over $200 worth of product !

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I ordered the parts on April 8 , 2011 . This is a time span of TWO years and three months . This man claims he has sent the parts , and that I "claim " that I have not received anything . He also says that he is being the "honest " one , and "the bigger man " . These are just more cover ups and excuses for not sending the parts , just as I have been getting from him all along . I have NOT received ANY package from this "business " ( Reliable Resin ) , no matter what he says . I have also never received any notice of any kind from the postal service that there was a package for me to pick up , and no one has ever showed up at my door to deliver anything . When I placed the original order , the final cost included $ 15.00 for shipping & handling . There was no mention on his part of additional fees to send a package to Canada . I have dealt numerous times with other businesses in the USA , and have NEVER had to pay expensive fees , as this man says he has to do .

The shipping fees and any duties or other fees have always been very reasonable . This is only another excuse for this man not to send the parts I ordered .

Review: In Oct I sent a 50% ($592.50) deposit to have a scale model of my car builtSince then I've had nothing but excuseFirst he had a special project to do for GM, then he had problems with chrome platers, then came Hurricane Sandy, next he was in mourning for two close friends that had passed away, in between these he had to spend time at the major car showsIn June he sent an Email saying my model was on the work bench with top priority and I would be getting progress updatesAfter not hearing from him I Emailed him with no response. After over two years of this in Dec I sent him an Email saying I was tired of excuses and to cancel my order and refund my depositI've not heard anything from him, he doesn't respond to my Emails or return phone calls.Desired Settlement: Refund of $or complete model at a discount
