Reliant Account Management Reviews (25)

HelloReliant Account Management is a neutral third party payment processor. Mrs. [redacted] enrolled in a program with a company we process payments for by the name of Client Care. We only process the payments for this company and do not provide any other service besides the payment processing. We...

require a signed authorization by all clients in order to draft clients accounts which I have attached. This complaint is really intended for Client Care. Although RAM is the payment processor, we do not have any part of the program she signed up for. Although we are only a payment processor when we get complaints like this we do look into it with the company that the complaint is intended for and try to offer assistance. Our records show Mrs. [redacted] had not contacted us prior to this complaint.  We contacted Client Care who stated they have tried to reach the client several times with no success. We also have tried to reach the client since the complaint and we were unsuccessful. After speaking with Client Care they have agreed to refund the client in the full amount of $3600.00. The client will receive this money credited back to her bank account in the next 3-5 business days.

Review: Aftermgetting scamed to pay over $700 upfront and almost $30 monthly I found out from the department of education that what this company is claiming to do is a scam. I was scamed into paying this large amount just to have them fill out paperwork for me. I talked to them and asked them how the student loan forgiveness works and they basicly told me that I stop paying Navient and only pay them, however when I called the department of education they said that I would still have to pay the loan after consolidation.Desired Settlement: I want the full amout of what they scamed me for returned and for the business to be out of business so others are not scamed the same way I was.

Hello,

Review: In October 2015, I received a phone call from Reliant Account Management also known as RAM. The person asked if I were interested in Student Forgiveness. I asked more information , and at the time I was working short hours, and my income was low. The person gave me a lot of information, and said I was entitled to receive a Student Forgiveness Program. I would have to make three payments of $233.00 in order to process this request, and then after the three payment their will be a monthly charge of $29.99. I made the three payment of $233 on these dates :10/26/15, 11/09/15 & 11/23/15 then followed by those payments were three monthly charges of @29.99 on these dates: 12/10/15, 1/11/16 &2/10/15. A total of $788.97 I was scammed. When I called in January , I was told my account was processed and sent to the board of education an it would still be 60 days to be approved. Beginning of Feb I called the board of education and they stated they never heard of RAM, and have no record of my account. I called and emailed RAM stating I wanted a full refund of my $788.97 they have been withdrawing from my bank account over these past months. They explained that I would be be getting a reduction of payment plan ad not a Student Loan Forgiveness. I contacted my student loan provider and they said there were a lot of businesses out there scamming students.Desired Settlement: At the moment, I am requesting a full refund of $788.97 from RAM. I paid them to do nothing, and caused me a lot of stress. I wish I have spoken to my student loan provider or even my parents before I paid RAM any of my money.

Reliant Account Management (RAM) is a 3rd party payment processing company. RAM processes payments for various companies. RAM did not reach out to [redacted] in Oct 2015 regarding student forgiveness. [redacted] must have been contacted by Student Loan Direct Processing or Student Assist Plus. We show [redacted] was a client of both Student Loan Direct Processing and Student Assist Plus both of which we process payments for. An authorization form for RAM to take the agreed payments for the programs in which client was enrolled in with these companies was signed by [redacted] on 10/20/2015 for both companies. I have attached. Upon receiving her complaint regarding these companies, RAM did reach out to SLDP and SAP to see if we could help assist with a resolution . Both companies have agreed to refund client because she was unhappy with the service and both were going to contact client as well. [redacted] will receive a refund from RAM in 2 credits ( One for $699.00 and one for $89.97) which will automatically go back to her bank account and should post to her account on Tuesday March 8th. She made three payments to Student Loan Direct processing in the amount of $233.00 for a total of $699.00 and three payments in the amount of $29.99 for a total of $89.97 to Student Assist Plus. This will be a full refund.

Review: In August 2015, I received a call from Reliant Account Management (RAM)and the representative asked if I were interested in the Student Loan Forgiveness Program. I told them I was because at the time I was not working. After a series of questions from this representative he told me I was entitled to receive the Student Loan Forgiveness Program through the Obama Student Loan Forgiveness Program. He stated I would have to pay three payments of $174.75 in order to process this request and it would take 45-60 days to process after the final payment. I explained that I would try to have the money. To make a long story short, I sacrificed and was able to make three payments of $174.75 on 9-28-15; 11-30-15 and 1-4-16. When I called in January, I was told my account was processed and sent to the Board of Education on 12-4-15 and it would take 45-60 days to be approved. I called the Board of Education and they stated they had never heard of RAM and they had no record of my account. I took the liberty of checking into the Revdex.com and found there were two other complaints against RAM. When I called RAM, I told them I wanted a full refund of $524.45 I pay to them over the past 4 months. They explained that I would be getting a reduction of payment plan and not a Student Loan of Forgiveness. Furthermore, I contacted my student loan provider - GSMR and they said there were a lot of businesses out there scamming students and I was eligible for a reduction in paying my student loan.Desired Settlement: At this time, I am requesting that RAM return to me the $524.45 I paid to them to do absolutely nothing, but made my life worst off than before. I wish I would have spoken to my student loan provider before I paid RAM any money.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I just want to let you know that I received my refund of $524.25 from RAM. I am so very thankful to Revdex.com for responding to them. If I did not contact you, I would have been swindled out of my money. This experience will definitely make me aware of scams. I just want to say thank you again. I paid an additional $29.99 two times, and I did not include that amount in my initial request, but I'll just take that as a loss. Thanks again. Regards,

Review: This email follows a letter I have sent to complain about service I recently received from TFSC Group and RAM customer service. I called TFSC on October 22, 2015, to find out how to deal with my student loan. [redacted] came on the line and explained that I would pay a fee to process my loan and that I would not be charged any other fees- I opted out of the 29.99 service from RAM and signed new paperwork and verbally opted out twice when it appeared onthe paperwork. I spoke to them several times and they assured me the correction had been made and no deductions would be taken from my account.

I called to explain my problem to them several times, and they assured me the loan would be processed and I would be paying 303.00 on my student loan- monthly for 10 years. 349.00 has been deducted twice form my checking account with the final total taken out on November 30, 2015. I have recieved no services for my deductions and deductions that were not authorize dhave been taken out. I have called and emailed with no response form either compnay.

I expected a much higher level of service from this company, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem, I have sent emails and letters canceling services immediately, and I expect a full refund of 29.99 form RAM and 700.00 form TFSC for the withdrawals. I emailed them I would be informing my friends and family and the Revdex.com about this experience.

I do not authorize any furher transactionsDesired Settlement: I never wanted the service and I have been charged and continue to be charged. I request my money be refunded and the service corrected to 'NO" - The ocmpany needs to cancell whatever service they have recored on their end.

Reliant Account Management is a neutral 3rd party payment processor between this client and the company that the client enrolled into a program with. She currently has 2 accounts with RAM.One with Student Assist Plus. They charged her a $29.99 monthly fee for their program. The client reached out to us regarding this account on 12/5/2015 (on a Saturday during non working hours). We responded to her on 12/7 (our next working day) and directed her to SAP to go over the charge and the account. The Revdex.com complaint was filed on 12/6/2015 (On Sunday again non working day). So when we did respond to client this was already filed. We immediately reached out to SAP to find out more information about the situation. They advised us -One of my account managers actually reached out to her earlier this evening. He went over the program and she said she would remove the Revdex.com complaint that she made.
