Im not writing a complaintMy agent for over a year (Nurit C***) said she had the best of intentions, and I have no reason to dispute thatDid she do the best job possible, well, I’m really not sure, I have my doubtsWas Remax effective in delivering a service consistent with what they advertised, well, that I would say is a definite noThey set the bar high for themselves with statistics and a #agent ranking that is clearly above the results I sawI did see two offers, but they were not close to the range their statistics (that they market heavily with) , and somehow in both cases negotiations ceased before a deal was reached (In one case I noticed my agent emails were going back and forth between parties, and although they were worded to convey the value of my property, I hope I was not the sole negotiator in that deal(it’s not what I went to college for ) My agent was one of the nicer ones I had dealt with, and I think their brochures were top notch, and post cards were a nice touch, as was the interactive floor plans, but in the end, results are what counts, and I did not get thatI did have a hard time with getting results with respect to their efforts to provide contracting services, One engagement worked out ok, but the other two failed in that ReMax was not able to contract improvements to my floor (via Nurit C***) and countertops (via agent Itamar “Etay” Simhony) that they verbally stated they could do (Granted this is no their core competency, but hey if you’re sure you can do something you have experience in delivering, then deliver and don’t make excusesIt was here that I began to since the beginning of the endLater when I got an email saying I must promise to never say anything negative else we could not due business, well that’s when I began to wonder how they achieve such positive reviewsI replied that I would truthful and balanced for anything I ever wroteI got a reply that that this response worried them and I was immediately droppedDespite then I continue to stay true to my word, lay it out as I say it, and try and be balancedSo, perhaps they can sell your house better, but I would not choose them for what they say their statistics imply they can deliverI did not see that, and you may not either

The seller and buyer agreed the property was being sold in condition due to a short sale. The signed Short Sale Addendum attachedAt no time did RE/MAX or the agent accept the responsibility to clean out the property, or agree to pay costs with the clean out of the property orally or in writing as these are not reimbursable expenses. As per the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors Standard Agreement of Sale, it is the sellers responsibility to obtain an occupancy permit from the city, if applicableAs a courtesy RE/MAX orders the permit on behalf of the seller to ensure the seller is compliant with the terms of agreement of sale. On Monday June 29, 2015, RE/MAX received a Use & Occupancy permit from the City of Philadelphia with two code violationsOnce the agent was made aware of the outstanding violations the agent contacted the city to determine the source of the violation and the amount of the fine. In an email dated June 29, (10:am), the agent contacted the seller to make him aware of the fine (Approx$100.00) and advised him to pay the fine at that timeA copy of that email is attachedThe agent informed the buyer that if the seller was unable or unwilling to do anything in regards to the debris on and/or in the property, the buyer would be responsible to have the items removedThe agent informed the buyer the agent would assist him in having the property re-inspected by the city to have the violations removed once the violations were addressed. As far as I am concerned, this issue has not been resolved and my dissatisfaction with the company persists I asked that the $bill be itemized I was told how many days and hours were spent at the house but how much was I charged per hour? How much does the coolant cost? The last message from *** goes back to the initial explanation of the bill and she once again states that they "charged a flat fee for shipping, parts, service and supplies." I find it difficult to believe that a legitimate company that has an established business in town would charge the same whether they made one or four service calls That they would charge for a part under warranty and that they would include cost for shipping when the only verbal estimate that I received was that I wouldn't be charged for the expedited shipping The part wasn't even installed until almost a month after the part was expected to arrive and the charge for the expedited shipping wasn't even on the bill.unless you send me an itemized bill with dollar amounts, please do not respond to this message

In response to [redacted] latest questions I have attached a response from our York distributor in regards to the length of time it took to get this coil.  Anything to do with the manufacturing of parts was and is completely out of our control. As to her last question - "Will I continue to pay for additional service calls because a part is not available?" - The answer is no - we charged a flat rate price to her for the work that needed to be performed, whether the coil was available the next day or in two weeks- it included any amount of labor, service calls (visits to the property), shipping, parts & supplies needed to do the repair & take care of our customer.Due to the fact that there was no labor warranty left with this unit, we stand by our labor charges for the work we performed and invoiced to her for this coil replacement, agreeing with her to deduct the shipping amount - leaving a balance of $669.00.As to future charges, we are not able to know that in advance; we would follow the same procedure for the future as we did in this situation - invoicing a flat rate price for the repair(s) needed.

Response:

Review: In the contract of the final purchase of the house. There was an addendum added and signed on February 21, 2014 that stated "Seller at sellers expensive will repair roof defects." The sellers agent a representative of Remax 440 said that she contacted a roofer and got an estimate for $300.00 to fix the roof. I had another roofer come to the property to give an estimate. The second roofer came and estimated the repair around $850.00 When calling the roofer that the Remax agent said she contacted to do the work. Was told by him he just gave an estimate over the phone and didn't know he would be doing the work. They also stated that they would need to come to the property and look at what all would have to be done. After this phone call 3 different appointments were made for the roofing company to come to the house. the dates were March 29, April 9, and April 14. On each date no one showed up or called to reschedule. Phone calls were also made to the relator and I was told that I would be called back and never was. Closing on my house was February 21,2014. It is now April 15, 2014 and no one will return my calls. Now since the roof is damaged every time it rains more damage is being caused to my property.Desired Settlement: That the repairs be made to my roof as promised in contract. Preferably by the contractor that I contacted to give second estimate.
