I am rejecting this response because: I ordered everything on April 30, Per contract said to be delivered after 6-weeks( June ) were delivered after months They used my down payment of(b $2, 450.) on July 27, , Wrong sofa set TaBle Pads cheap kind , I paid the expensive oneDining table chair not the one I saw from the catalogDining chairs wrong, defectiveRecliner chair wrongThey came 4x in my house which I am not happyI wanted it all delivered at one timeI was told were not available in one delivery ( I was told to wait )I was told were not availableI waitedAll items were wrong defective.The sofa set , I was told to wait for another 2-months which were not sureMy daughter agreed to pay an additional $ to ease the pain and be done and closeUpon delivery on August 6, of the upgraded sofas , I signed to the paper they wrote " I am happy " in same sheet of paper I signed the same sheet , I made a comment > Table pad be changedWarranty protection plan which I paid $ were not provided the day it was deliveredTony , the assistance manger promised it will be mailedAugust 7, next dayUpgraded sofas were defectiveThe recliner set was manual, I paid for electric powerThat same day I called Promised , Will come on Saturday August 7, to changed the defective setNo call no showAll the products were all special order but it were not exactly what were agreed and what were shown from the floor sample and catalog.and were broken and UsedMy stories were identical to the people who complained with RENAISSANCE FURNITUREI was unfortunate that I didn't review Renaissance Furniture before I bought the furnitures I did not read the Revdex.com nor California Consumers AffairsI hope people will read my complaintsThis was my greatest mistakes I ever had done in my life.I talked to my friend and colleague who bought furnitures with exactly same storyThey were fooled I will never recommend this store to anybody.They have no conscience to peopleVery dishonest I cannot imagine how they sleep peacefully , knowingly they betrayed their customers .I have all the items total I paid $ 6,I am very dissatisfied to see these in my houseI honestly would like these be removed and give away from my propertyBad memories

I have exchanged a new sofa with new cushion and new toss pillows for customer about week of may 29thAS a result of exchange Mr [redacted] even kept one of the toss pillow that was belong to the old couchI just faxed you a copy of warranty paper as you requestplease advise me if anything else need to be don for Mr [redacted] Hope we can make him happy

I am rejecting this response because:I asked to cancel an order, I do not want to return or exchange an item that I have never received because I cancelled the sale when the store did not deliver as promised. I was told that more swing chairs were on the way already when I paid for the chair and my bed (separate invoice), this was not a special order. When the bed did not arrive as promised and I had to take a display bed and pay more money for the bed, I cancelled the chair swing order. When they have you sign the invoice, they don't give you a chance to read the info on the invoice and everything they promised verbally differs from what the invoice says. Never once did they tell me to weeks for either item I paid for. I would not have paid in advance if I knew it would take - weeks for any item. If I was told it would be weeks, I would have shopped elsewhere because I was waiting for the bed to arrive to move into my new house and they knew that. The chair was to arrive any day (not 3-weeks) is what they told me verbally and I cancelled the chair when I picked up the display model bed set.This is really ridiculous that they have my dollars and I have nothing. I do not want the chair, that is why I cancelled it only days after paying for it in advance and I waited for the money to be refunded for weeks. When they never refunded the money, I disputed the charge with the bank and only after I did this (august 8, 2017) did I hear from the store about the chair, which still was not available. They are not telling the truth about the sale and they are using the invoice as proof that I knew the order would take weeks, but they verbally promised an entirely different scenario. I had somebody with me that will be glad to be my witness to the entire transactions. I want my money back and I don't want any item they sell at that store. I am an honest person and do not like to give my money away to dishonest businesses. I do not understand why they are allowed to steal money from people. My only resolution that I see as acceptable is for them to refund my 648$ to me immediately. I think I may have to use the Call Kurtis at the news station and see if they can help or file in small claims court for my money to be returned

I am rejecting this response because:The person who responded to my complaint is flat out telling lies.I did not ask them to order the chair for me, they told me that "more were already on the way to their inventory" because I did not want the chair in stock that was damaged. I watched the manager unpack the chair and damage it with the knife he used to open the packaging. I had paid for a new bed on 7/14/(which was promised to be delivered to my house "asap" with a verbal promise of before the end of the following week) as I was leaving, I inquired about the chair that the manager was unpackaging in front of the store. My bed did not arrive as promised so I agreed to buy the display bed. I had to pick up the bed even though delivery was part of the original purchase agreement.I picked the bed up on 7/21/and at that time, I cancelled the chair order. I had someone with me on both occasions that witnessed the transaction and heard the promised delivery dates and also heard me cancel the chair order and ask for a refund.When I did not get the money refunded by August, I disputed the charge with the bank. After I disputed the charge, I got one phone call from the store about the chair. The message was left on my work phone and not my cell phone (I am not sure if I gave them my work number, but I picked up the bed in a company truck that had a phone number on it).I cancelled the chair order when I picked up the display bed because they said the chair would be at least weeks and they tried to get me to take the damaged chair again. When I refused to accept the damaged chair, they tried to talk me into a different chair that was lower in price and that I did not want. I had sat in both types of chairs on 7/14/and disliked the cheaper chair. I had to pay $extra for the display bed and $more for the mattress pad and $for a bed frame on the day I had to pick up the bed myself. I also had to bring someone with me to help carry the mattress and boxspring from the store to the truck and load it myself. I was polite at all times and the only negative thing I said was I wanted to cancel the chair order.I will gladly present witnesses that will back up my claim on every level. I have no chair, I do not want the chair. I did not order the chair, they told me more chairs were on the way already and I agreed to wait for the inventory to arrive. They are not being truthful at all

the bedroom set they bought is all over online for 450-600$. the mattress they bought is 2300 from [redacted] and that is quality controlled. We do not control those prices after tax and deliver she only paid 450$ the bedroom set. "2300 + 99 delivery fee +7.25% tax - the total amount of 3023 =...

450$" thats what she paid for it. on our tags we have regular price and cash price.even thou she paid with credit card we still gave her a cash deal. We are willing to work with them but its very clear on our invoice that there in no refunds /exchange only.

I special order all her furniture. She did not like the sofa + love seat. I exchanged for much more expencive set. Changed her table 2 times, exchanged her recliner for more expencive one. Went to her house 4 times. Inclose is a letter of satisfaction and signed signiture that she is happy. I...

request the reverse chargeback. PS After if she was not happy she wood not give me additional $500.00 in cashier check after last delivery. Noted on the bottom of her invoice.Also she has signed the store policy of All sSales Final, NO Refund 1 and Back Order 3-8 week

The Renaissance store has amazing furniture, a great collection of mattresses, the best prices, and overall experience. The owner is polite and very straight forward. He tries to help in any way possible. I bought all new furniture for an entire six bedroom house and the best quality mattress. I will always come back to this store again and again!

Review: paid for a new mattress gave me a damaged used one,tried to give me incorrect size.would not refund money.rude,dishonest,angry people.

8-16-13 Me [redacted] and my wife [redacted] went to Renaissance furniture to pick out a bed set for my kids.We found a bed set and was told it included the Mattress paid $860,salesmen told us to sign bunch of papers that says "no Refunds",made us use Debit instead of Credit on my visa then couple days later they called me said mattress and bed set is ready for pickup.we came to get the bed set and realized mattress they are giving us is used an damaged so we told them they said pick out another mattress so we did and ended up paying $180 more but then realized they gave us a wrong size so we asked them to just return our money but they said NO refunds so I asked them couple more times for a refund but they would not refund my money and asked me to leave their store. I feel like this store just gets people into a trap,they will take customers money make them sign papers then when they pickup the item they can be damaged,used,wrong size ,but will not refund money back no matter what.their are lots of angry people who where treated very bad and ripped off please do something about this store to stop them from traping and ripping the public off.Desired Settlement: I don't want to ever come back to this store again,I don't want any of their furniture.I Don't want to see their Angry Faces.I just want my money back for the mattress I want my refund ,we bought the bed set with 2 mattress included so I want $200 refund and plus $180 Extra that they made us pay since they gave us "better mattress" wich was Incorrect size. so I want a refund total of $380

What happened is they bought a bunk bed with mattresses. They didn't like the mattress that came with it,(it was not damaged) so, they upgraded to a different mattress. They came back and changed it out. Then a few days later their son came and dropped the mattress off at the front door and left!

Then I get a cc dispute filed. I want to help clear up this issue, which seems to be a mattress that is not fitting because it's too big or fluffy maybe. There are no refunds per their invoice, but they may exchange the mattress. They simply need to communicate with me and remove the cc dispute, please.

Review: I purchased a family room set which contains one sofa, one love seat, and one recliner within three weeks the sofa started to fall apart. I contacted the store and spoke to [redacted] he told me to wait about three weeks to either pick it up or drop it off. My son and my daughters fianc brought it in. It was supposedly fixed but it was worst when I got it back. All three pieces are still in terrible condition which two are currently still at the store being "fixed". I went in on 1/9-1/10/14 to try and resolve this matter. The gentlemen was unprofessional and dishonest. He told me that the only thing to do was for me to rip it and go through warranty which I wasn't going to do or pick out another family room set. I lost over 1400 and on top of that he charged me another 300.89 for the new one which I'm taking a loss because my original one was more.Desired Settlement: I would just like to receive the money that I lost. I went in to buy a family room set and I was taken advantage of.
