I made the unfortunate mistake of speaking with this contractor at the local home show years agoThis has led to cold call salesmen showing up different times unannounced on my front porch and peering into my house invading my privacyThen the telephone calls, at least times they have called my houseOn multiple occasions I have stated "please put me on your do not call list" This has not worked in that Renewal by Anderson just flat out is unresponsive to my requestsI have blocked different phone numbers from them and they keep callingThe constant badgering is harassment, DO YOURSELF A FAVORDO NOT SPEAK WITH THESE PEOPLE OR LOOK TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT LATER

Received incorrect information at time of sale Was scammed due to being told by your representative ( Jim Z [redacted] ) that we would have an "Interest Free"loan The Sales Agreement we signed had no indication that we would subsequently be charged a Variable Rate Interest Loan We neither received, nor signed any other paperwork related to the sale of the windows All bills that we have received have included charges for Interest This was a Fraudulent sale We were never told there would be another Financial Institution involved in the purchase of our windows, or there would be additional charges

Sought estimate to repair one of glass panels in an existing Andersen bow windowThe sales person had absolutely NO interest in repair insisting that the entire unit HAD to be replaced at some $10K Finding me skeptical of the cost he then pulled the usual "but we can we give you a better deal ( i.e., less 10%) in to weeks when the crew is not so busy"In the process he bad mouthed the cold blocking efficacy of the existing older Andersen unit as well as the windows recently installed by a locally owned competitorThe repair work is being done by [redacted]

To whom it may concern:It is our goal to meet the requirements and wishes of all our consumersIf they want assistance in financing, we bring out a third party credit application, and also have the consumer sign a finance request form indicating which program best suits their needs, and the requested monthly payment that is affordableIn this case the bank had requested to speak with the consumer to get additional information for verification they requiredOnce that was done, the bank sent rba notification of their approvalOur installation team brought out the documents directly from the bank(bank name on all forms), and this consumer signed and initialed to the requested programAll in black and whiteRBA has all these documents on file and scannedWe can furnish copies of all the paper work signed by this consumer.They had requested a program that yielded a monthly payment of $plus or minus $4.00.The program they had received was FIXED RATE of 9.99%apr with a monthly payment of $30.62Please let the consumer know, they can contact me at any time, and I can review all this information with them Patricia S [redacted] Finance Manager Please let me know if this is required, I can forward at any time

I was very unhappy with the salesman who came to our house to give us an estimateAfter an hour long dog and pony show, he gave us an enormous quoteHe used every sleazy salesman tactic in the book to put the pressure on us to signHe had said he didn't haggle, but he proceeded to encourage us to give him a numberHe said we had " a very unique opportunity to make something exciting happen." He pushed and pushed and finally left after almost two hoursI wish I would have put a stop to it, but he was very slickI don't doubt the great quality of their product, but I do doubt the integrity with which they sell it

I love my new windows from Renewal by Anderson! They are attractive and easy to operate for cleaningWhen I had questions they sent someone out to help, and replaced a window I was not able to get out for cleaningAndrea has been very helpful I found everyone easy to work withThey are expensive, but a great product

I am in the process of collecting all data on this fileIt is from and the last service was in March and we have not heard from them since then I will respond by Friday 11/21/

Their sales people are either uninformed, incompetent, or poorly supervised I showed the salesman one broken window, and asked if they could quote on repairing that one window He clearly said yes I then spent minutes providing personal information, and he asked that I talk on a cell phone to a supervisor The supervisor said everyone who owns the house must be present when they present their quote Huh? This was discourteous, and unprofessional Two different door-knocking sales people told me to my face they would give me a quote But then then never provided one, or asked that all owners of the house had to be physically present when the quote for the window was presented They intentionally mislead a potential buyer, and never deliver a quote that was promised Twice My advice: stay away from this company They don't fulfill their promises: either at the salesperson level, or the management level And don't believe their response to this complaint

An Anderson Window employee solicited door-to-door in my neighborhoodDespite being told we were not interested my fiancee gave them her contact information because she wanted them to leaveThey have since called us times over the last months despite being g told each time that we were not interested in speaking with themWe have asked to be removed from their contact list and this has not occurred

Case # *** This letter is in response to the complaint filed 7/17/2016.This particular window installation was completed over a year ago, 7/22/At that time *** *** had certain concerns, that were addressed by a phone conversation and a follow up email on August 3rd,
(copies can be supplied) We have signed documentation of a completed and accepted installation, and we have heard nothing from this consumer in over a year.Customer satisfaction is the utmost concern of this organizationI do apologize if any concerns were not fully resolved at the time of installation, but we have not heard from MrOlmstead until last weeks notification from the Revdex.com. Our Regional sales manager will attempt to contact this consumer to resolve all issuesHe has all the contact information.I will continue to update this response as we move forward to resolve this customers concerns
