June 30, I signed a contract with Renewal by Andersen for new windows and a door through my whole houseThe estimated completion date was 08/29/and they said it would take one dayWe signed up with them to finance the whole loanthe whole loan is $15,We were never notified by RbA that we were not approved for the full amountwe received a letter through GreenSky that we were only approved for $10,I called my salesman and told him and he proceeded with no help and told me to only get half the windows for nowThat was not what we signed up for to begin withI proceeded to call many people to come to an outcomeA couple weeks later RbA called me and said that we were approved for the full amount, and I said how? He said they went to another loan company and got us the rest of the moneyI told them that we did not want two different loans and how could they approved us for more, when the first loan did not go through for the full amountI waited for another coupl

Received incorrect information at time of sale
Was scammed due to being told by your representative ( Jim Z*** ) that we would have an "Interest Free"loan
The Sales Agreement we signed had no indication that we would subsequently be charged a Variable Rate Interest Loan
We neither received, nor signed any other paperwork related to the sale of the windows
All bills that we have received have included charges for Interest
This was a Fraudulent sale
We were never told there would be another Financial Institution involved in the purchase of our windows, or there would be additional charges

On March 09, 2018, I entered into a contract with Renewal by Andersen of Western New York to have two windows installed in my kitchen, a side window and a bay window in the front of my homeThe agreement was that I would pay a $down payment with an outstanding balance of $8,for my windows to be installed within two days, April and May I left my mother to handle all communication with the company and to oversee the work in my stead due to my work schedule and unavailabilityThe company sent two employees to install the windows within those two days but upon the day of completion (May 01), my mother noticed numerous flaws with both windows The side window was unevenly set and had breachesOn the inside, the bay window pane had chips, the caulking was unfinished and not neat, the casing was uneven, and holes were left uncaulkedOn the outside of the window, the metal frame had several dings and appeared unevenThe workers cracked the shutters by my window during instal

I love my new windows from Renewal by Anderson! They are attractive and easy to operate for cleaningWhen I had questions they sent someone out to help, and replaced a window I was not able to get out for cleaningAndrea has been very helpful I found everyone easy to work withThey are expensive, but a great product

Renewal by Anderson is supposed to have a very high customer satisfaction and that is the farthing thing from the truth
I had several high end window manufacturers come by and I went with this company as it is a strong Midwest company and produces some high end products
What I got was shotty installation and very poor customer service
Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this company
I had several windows and doors replaced
The windows are fine
The doors on the other hand what a fiasco
Basically I threw out thousands of dollars
There was no improvement in temperature of the mud room that the sales person specifically said there would be
The fire door to the garage never closed properly and is several thousand dollars more than competitors
Given the high costs I would have believed that this product would be far superior to others
Currently I can see light through cracks in the door and cold air passes through the door
After three trials of repairs each

The company made many mistakes with my order and then wanted more money to fix their mistakesMy10,dollar bay window has ice forming on it every winter and they want 250$ to fix it when they claim a lifetime warranty

This complaint is going to be retracted per this consumer Thursday or Friday

I had emailed this consumer Don S*** who would be handling the situation, was on vacation until this evening and he would make them his priority to contact them between 6-this eveningThis was set up on the 13th
I will let you know the outcomeWhat I do know is they ordered exactly what
they got and singed all the required paper work including the final installation paper work

Beware of the workers! I am absolutely disgusted by someone you have coming up to people's doors asking if they want a free inspectionThis evening around 5:my year old father got a knock on the door from your worker asking if he wanted a inspection of the windows and my father politely said "no thank you"The worker kept going on and on for at least minutes and my father kept telling him "no thank you please leave"My father then told him that he was wasting his time so the worker proceeded to say "it can take all the time as needed because I am on the clock"My father again said "I don't want it leave" and proceeded to shut the door so he yelled to my father " your windows ***"You have got to be kidding me that someone you have working for you would treat someoneHe still didn't want to leaveWe basically had to yell at him to get off of our propertyI will be sure to never buy from you and let everyone I know not to buy from youIt was highly upsetting to my father

I find that this company has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to take responsibility for this situation and instead put blame on some other division of the company and couldn't even apologize. I think that consumers should know that this company is using terrible practices when it comes to marketing and more people should complain so that they will stop. These people stalk our neighborhood every year in hopes of selling us windows at twice the cost of other places. This is not ok. I should have read a response that accepted responsibility and apologized.

a no trespassing sign in your yardThis is the towns requirement

We have resolved all issues with the [redacted]'s. We visited their home on May 19th 2016, and at that time it was discovered that all issues were already taken care of. [redacted] said she would as she stated before would...

re-tract the original complaint. There were some unfortunate install issues  during the installation, but they were handled previously,  and  currently there are no outstanding issues. They were holding final payment, but paid this on our visit 5/19. If at any time the [redacted]'s need us to come out to their home, all they have to do is contact our office and we can schedule our service technician.

We can always improve and again we appreciate the feedback.After listening to the recorded conversation, It was explained that we can not come out to advise on any repairs  of your existing windows even if they are Andersen, I know this may be confusing, but Renewal by Andersen's sole purpose is residential window replacement. I can offer the 800 number for your convenience to contact Andersen and get information on repairs. ###-###-####.Our sales range from one window to whole house. We have several sales representatives in place who works closely with folks who have under three units and or want to purchase just doors. I understand that to put time aside for an appointment is very difficult for many consumers due to their busy schedule's. We are respectful of their time and try to be accommodating in every way that we can. I am sorry that this did not work out. if in the future you would like an estimate on your window replacement project Renewal by Andersen would love the opportunity to meet with you. no job is to big or to small, every job has the same importance.  If there is any thing I can do please feel free to contact me directly
