RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The only issue that the business has addressed is regarding my son being able to attend the presentation. We told [redacted] , the auditions representative, that we would only purchase the offer if she included the one week dream vacation for the price of $3,199. [redacted] stated that she would do it for us and stated she would give us her e-mail so if we had any issues receiving the one week dream vacation, we would be able to contact her. When I contacted [redacted] regarding this, she did not deny that this was the agreement, but stated that she would see what happened. After [redacted] 's initial response, we were never contacted in order to clear up the issue and still have not received what was agreed to. Furthermore, when we tried to make a reservation, there were multiple issues and it took customer service days before we were told that the reservation was not available. We no longer want to do business with a business we cannot trust, and we are expecting refund. Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com and Welk Resort:We selected reject because the Revdex.com only gave us two options - accept or reject, and those two selections do not work for all complaints and all people or situations.We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and while the Revdex.com provides a default letter to either accept or reject the offer from the business, that does not cover all complaints.In our opinion, the Revdex.com should have at least three choices, the 3rd being at the minimum that the business has contacted the customer and both parties are trying to work on an amicable solution, as is the case for this complaint.With that said, things take time [redacted] (sales mgr from Welk Resort) called us Feb 29, 2016, and promised to send us some things in the mail, that could take up to three weeks for us to receiveAnd after receiving those things, we will need at least two to four months to try out what they send, to see if what they send, really works as was promised over the phoneWe did not get our money back, nor "free" Dream Vacation Weeks (Three), but have been promised that we will rcv cards that will allow us to take three Dream vacations at a cost of only $each, and that there are MANY $vacation weeks through Leisure Time Vacations, of which we haven't looked at enough to see if that statement is true, or false.We realize both the Revdex.com and the business wish that this (and all) complaints are resolved in a timely manner, but again, not all complaints can beIf the Revdex.com wishes to close this complaint, we can't stop that, but we would like to keep this open until it is resolvedIf the Revdex.com would like to close this now, and for us to open up another complaint (if things aren't resolved), and reference this one in four to six MONTHS time, PLEASE tell us that is what you would like us to do,, and we will comply with said wishesThank you.Regards, [redacted] And [redacted]

Welk Resort Group Platinum Point Ownership Number [redacted] Dear Mrs [redacted] , I am in receipt of your Revdex.com complaint filed on October 19, Please allow me to address your challengesI show that you became a Welk Platinum point owner on July 12, when you purchased 180,Platinum owner points to be used on an every “odd” year basis starting in I do show you have spoken to our Owner Services team in reference to the usage of your ownership I have never spoken to you in regards to your ownership Your complaint states that you feel lied to about a number of undefined issues I am happy to address any concerns you are having with your ownership I do show you have spoken to our team in reference to using your Interval International exchange benefits You do not have a usage history for your ownership.Please allow me to clarify your exchange opportunities with Interval International Your ownership options include depositing a week with Interval International in exchange for a week anywhere in the world When depositing with Interval, you will also receive a second week of vacation (any size villa requested, based upon availability) as a “Resort Accommodation Certificate” (bonus week) When you deposit your ownership with Interval, they will extend the expiration of the deposited week for two additional years The bonus week from Interval International is good for one year Interval International has thousands of resort choices worldwide and Welk demands a very high trade valueThe process is that you choose a resort destination, have several date choices and call Interval International They will check availability If nothing is available at that moment, they will start a “pending search” by collecting the exchange fee Their system searches hours a day, seven days a week As soon as a match is found, they will generate an instant confirmation More than 73% of our owners receive a confirmation within hours I am sorry if there were any misunderstandings during your sales presentation Welk is highly rated for owner/guest experiences and for the high trade value through the exchange companies We take great pride in assisting our owners planning memorial vacations.As for your request to terminate your contract, it is not Welk’s policy to cancel contracts that have passed beyond the rescission period required under California law I do not have a contract rescission option for your ownership commitment Welk does not have a “take-back” program that would allow you to simply return your ownership to Welk We understand how there may be misunderstandings in terms and conditions given verbally; therefore we cover everything thoroughly in our documents and disclosures We know that you are given a large amount of information That is why we legally allow you seven days to read your contract after the date you signed If you wanted to cancel within that time you had the right to do so Included in your documents were specific procedures on how to utilize your vacation ownership, as well as directions to cancel that same ownership The instructions are specific that it must be done in writing within the defined timeframe Unfortunately, since you have passed your legal rescission period, we cannot simply cancel your contractThe first year of ownership may seem difficult, especially when dealing with several different departments Please know that we are here to assist and guide you through your ownership to make sure you are enjoying it to its full potential We will customize the ownership to fit your vacation needs, based on what you purchased We welcome your ideas on how we might overcome your concerns regarding your Welk Platinum Program vacation ownership You purchased this vacation ownership with the intent on using it for vacation travel Please allow us to help you use your time If you need any assistance in booking a reservation or help with using your Interval International exchange benefits please reach out to our Owner Services team @ 1-800-240- They are here to help you with any ownership needPlease let me know how else I can be of assistance in this matter Feel free to e-mail me directly at my e-mail address listed belowSincerely, [redacted] Director of Consumer AffairsWelk Resorts [redacted] @welkgroup.com

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I see that Welk says that because I initialed and signed everything that I understood and accepted everything. There is a lot to grasp in the presentation and sales closing, and a lot to read over. Many of the things we find fault with are made apparent long after the rescission date. "Misunderstandings" are not "lies". "Lies" are what the salesmen told us about the timeshare and how to use it. "Misunderstandings" occur when some point is explained in detail but the hearer thinks he hears one thing and the facts point to a different thing. There was no misunderstanding what the salesmen told us: They told us we could go anywhere anytime. Period. They didn't produce a list of exceptions and exclusions. I didn't misunderstand when they told me we could refinance the timeshare with my bank. The salesmen told me that. Period.We stand by our complaints. The salesmen made statements and promises about the timeshare benefits and advantages and they were not delivered. Regards, [redacted]
