Welk Platinum Point Owner Number: [redacted] Dear Mr***, I am in receipt of your rebuttal response to my response to your Revdex.com complaint I felt I specifically addressed your rescission request in my previous letter I understand that the usage of your ownership can be challenging at times There is some planning that does need to be involved for you to be able to maximize your usage opportunities In your four years as a Welk Platinum point owner you have not been able to use your ownership I am happy to have a senior Owner Services agent reach out to you personally and provide assistance We want you to use your ownership The whole purpose of purchasing your vacation ownership was to use it for vacation travel I was not present at your sales presentation so I cannot assume what was said and what was taken away from the conversation We use the signed documentation as the documents of record because it effectively eliminates the issue of any verbal promises that may lead to a misunderstanding regarding your ownership Contracts are created, signed and explained to protect both parties in a transaction This information was reviewed with you during your purchase transactions We review this information with you for the sole purpose of eliminating possible misunderstandings or confusion The documentation I forwarded to you with my earlier letter dated February 6, was signed or initialed by you As for your request that we rescind your contract, contract rescission is not an option We do expect you to honor the terms of your contractual ownership agreement It is not Welk’s policy to cancel contracts that have passed the legally obligated rescission period Welk does not have a contract rescission option for your ownership commitment Welk does not have a “take-back” program that would allow you to simply return your ownership to Welk Welk Resort Group will not be refunding any monies to you or offering to rescind your ownership We can continue to go back and forth on the issue but our stance will not change As stated previously, we will continue to assist you to the best of our abilities with use of your Welk ownership for vacation, exchange and rental as appli***, but we will not nullify your Welk ownership contract You have a contractual ownership commitment to Welk Resort Group that we expect you to honor Your mortgage commitment and owner obligated maintenance fee commitments both need to be kept current They are not current at this point in time If you are not able to keep your ownership obligations current, collection activity and default proceedings may begin Please feel free to reach out to me with any further questions or concerns in reference to this matter Sincerely, Hutch Farrell Director of Consumer Affairs Welk Resorts [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Letter of RebuttalReComplaint [redacted] This is regarding Complaint # [redacted] Welk responded on November 16, to my initial complaint filed on October 23, that I have used the nights at Branson Resort in Missouri from March 31- April 3, I would like to request their record of me ever checking into the resort.I have never taken the nights at their Branson location in Missouri or have I ever been to MissouriI had requested reservation at Branson with assigned Welk representative; however, the representative had never confirmed my reservationI emailed her and called her several times but received no response from Welk whatsoeverCommunication has always been my biggest complaint with WelkThere is simply little to no communicationOur contract has been assigned to multiple agents and it seems like there is a high turnover at Welk that agents keep leaving which might have caused the communication issuePlease note that I’m located in California, for me to plan a vacation in Branson, Missouri, I would need to have concrete confirmation that the reservation is reserved before booking airline tickets for a family of three.I have never been to Missouri or Branson for that matterI therefore request record of any documentation showing that I had checked into Branson location during the specified timeAttached is my communication record with Welk representativeThe last email exchange was on November 2015; Welk representative never responded to my confirmation request via email or phone.Sincerely, [redacted] (***)

Welk Resort Group Platinum Point Owner Number [redacted] Dear Mr& Mrs [redacted] ,I am in receipt of your Revdex.com complaint filed on October 26, Please allow me to address your rescission requestI felt I specifically address your concerns in my previous response to you on August 27, I am addressing this to both of you because I have both of you on the ownership contractI show you both became Welk Platinum point owners on May 18, when you both purchased 90,Platinum owner points to be used on an every “even” year basis starting in I do not show any usage for your ownership Again, I am sorry if there were any misunderstandings during your sales presentation Welk is highly rated for owner/guest experiences and for the high trade value through the exchange companies We take great pride in assisting our owners planning memorial vacations.There may be some confusion in reference to using your owner time, bonus time rates and getaways The getaways are done through Interval International and have specific booking windows The usage of your owner points and bonus time would be done through Welk As an owner with Welk you do get special bonus time rates when you stay at any of our resort locations, depending upon availability The owner time rates will change depending on the season We do our absolute best to satisfy every owner request to stay on property at any of our Welk Resort locations As I stated in my previous letter to you, Welk does not have a late cancel option for your ownership I did mention previously that the first year of ownership can be a little confusing when dealing with different departments and learning how to effectively use you ownership for the first time We have an Owner Services team available seven days a week solely to assist our owners with questions, usage of their ownership and booking of vacation travel I apologize for any challenges you have incurred We are happy to assist you with the usage of your ownership The intent when you both purchased this ownership was to use it for vacation travel Please allow us to help you use your time It is not Welk’s policy to cancel contracts that have passed beyond the rescission period required under Missouri law I do not have a contract rescission option for your ownership commitment As stated previously, Welk does not have a “take-back” program that would allow you to simply return your ownership to Welk Please let me know how else I can be of assistance in this matter Feel free to e-mail me directly at my e-mail address listed belowSincerely, [redacted] Director of Consumer AffairsWelk Resorts [redacted]
