I signed up for the free trial on December 3,2017 and after reading the fine print and saw that there was a $49.95 fee after the 7 day trial period I called and canceled the trial period and was told my card would not be charged.I didn't give it another thought until January 4th 2018 when I checked my bank account and saw that there was a charge from RentBeforeOwning for $49.95 and called to talk to somebody and was told that my membership was never canceled basically calling me a liar and that my account was used I did not use the account because my household is on a fixed income of under $900 a month which can be proven from my bank deposit.so I didn't want to take a chance with being charged.when I called back to talk to somebody else I was told the charge had to stay because my card had been declined since December10,2017 which excuse is it.somebody is covering for somebodies mistake and I want my money back.

We were unable to locate an account under the name, address, email address or telephone number provided on this complaint. We have no history of registration or interaction with this consumer.
Our Customer Service Department Manager has made multiple attempts to reach the consumer by telephone over 2 days. None of our calls have been answered and we have left voice messages for the consumer to request a call back to gain further information and ensure this customer actually has an account with us. So far, we have not received a reply.
We also asked the consumer to double check their credit card statement to ensure our company name is listed next to the transaction she is concerned about. If so, we must speak with the customer to gain more details about the charge and we will gladly continue to research this situation and take appropriate action to ensure satisfaction. If not, the consumer will need to request help from another company.
Please advise if you have any additional contact information from this consumer. If not, we request this inquiry be closed as invalid.
