Rental History Reports Reviews (25)

I ordered a background check and employment verification from this site the other dayI thought I was going to receive my employment history (as advertised at the top of the order page) but only received a background check for $DO NOT FALL FOR THIS ADVERTISING! They will charge you an additional $for each employment verificationFind another service that doesn't try to scam their customers! TERRIBLE SERVICE

We are very sorry to hear that this customer remains unsatisfied after our IT and customer service teams worked to generate credit reports for her My IT director provided the following explanation:"Successfully pulling a credit report is very much dependent on supplying enough data elements on the inquiry so the credit bureau can make a match against all the data elements that they have stored on each consumer The apartment complex entered the applicant's first AND last name in the first name field On this report, I assume TransUnion did not originally return a credit report because they could not make a match on both the applicant's name and address Only after changing the first name and adding a previous address were we able to successfully obtain a credit report from TransUnion."Ms [redacted] paid the $application fee to the apartment complex, not to our company That said, we are willing to issue her a check for that amount if she has not received a refund from the apartment complex

I recently used this site for rental historyAll this is is a credit report which I already hadThis has nothing to do with Rental historyOn top of all of all of this I had issues with even retrieving the reportI contacted customer service and was given a generic answer of "We can't give you a refund due to the costs that we have incurred already" Seriously?? If all you care about is the money than that is wrongI didn't receive anything that I thought I would even though it was advertisedI'm extremely disappointed in this company and their customer service

My husband and I applied for an apartment at Beach South at the Lakes and were informed we’re approved after meeting the salary guidelines and paying the application $apiece fees This fee was to also generate rental, credit and background history I was later informed that the security deposit is depended on the report obtained from Rental History Report.com We later learned that RHR's report on September 2nd indicated that neither of us has credit historyThis information affects us adversely because the property manager informed us that a report of no credit history mandates a 2-months’ rent payment in advance in addition to the regular $deposit prior to taking up occupancy I contacted RHR to inquire about their report and found very deceptive as they tried to justify the report This attempt to disenfranchise me included providing misleading and bogus information I informed them that I own major credit cards that reported on the 14th monthly to the bureau

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/16) */ We are sorry that our product did not meet Ms [redacted] 's needsWe are issuing a full refund today

We are very sorry to hear that our customer's expectations were not met Our accountant has issued a full refund to his credit card and this issue has been forwarded to our leadership team to discuss how to improve our product offering

This company is a scam they told me thing then told me another after I made my purchase I wouldn't advise using this company what's so ever!

My review is based solely on customer service and not the productsI was looking at their website about for about minutes and began to set up an account, but decided I was no longer interestedAfter this the calls and emails beganAlways in the morning interrupting my work dayI contacted the sales representative directly and requested that he stop contacting me and that I was not interestedI got a "Sure thing" but the contact continuedEach day a new email saying that he had not heard from me, and when I tried to write him back, my email was blockedI finally got fed up enough to make a formal complaint to this company and was consistently interrupted by the customer service representativeI will never consider using this company due to the blatant harassment and disregard for the customer

The consumer contacted us after receiving a notice from her credit monitoring service that the employment data in her Experian credit file had changedThe document she faxed us shows that the change to her Experian file had been made
earlier this monthWe pulled her Experian credit report around the same time on behalf of an apartment complex where the consumer was applying to liveUnderstandably, the consumer assumed that we were the source of the new employment data to Experian and wanted us to correct it
Unfortunately we are not able to help the consumer correct the data because we actually were not the source of the dataThe apartment complex where she applied did not supply us with any employment data and furthermore, we never transmit employment data to Experian under any circumstanceWe only transmit to Experian the data necessary to locate a consumer's credit file - name, social security number, date of birth, address and phone number (if we have one on file)
From viewing the consumer's credit report, as well as the fax she sent to us from the credit monitoring report, I can see that another company, FNB Omaha, also pulled her Experian credit file around the same time periodFNB Omaha is a bank and a credit card issuer, and banks and credit card issuers often do transmit employment data to the credit bureausWhile we cannot guarantee that FNB Omaha is the source of the disputed information, it seems the most likely case
I attempted to contact the consumer by phone regarding this matter today but she did not answer so I left a voice mailI also emailed her detailing that we were not the source of the information and offered advice on how she might get the information correctedI have copied and pasted the text of that message belowIf the Revdex.com would like any further information or to discuss this response with me, please feel free to contact me by phone or email as listed in the required contact fields below
Thank you!
Email to consumer:
Dear ***,
I am writing this email to follow up on your fax to us regarding a change to your Experian employment data as reported by your TransUnion credit monitoring serviceFrom the fax you sent I can see that the change to your employment data was made in June of this yearI can also see that Rental History Reports (RHR) was the most recent company to request your credit report from ExperianI understand how this may make it appear as though RHR reported the new employment data to Experian, however, I have confirmed that RHR was not the source of that information
RHR ran a consumer report on you for *** does not transmit employment data to RHR, and in turn, RHR does not transmit employment data to Experian or any other credit bureau, so RHR could not have been the source of the new informationMy IT Director has shown me the entire string of data we submit to Experian each time we order a credit report, and no employment data is ever providedI do notice that you have an inquiry from FNB Omaha (a bank and credit card issuer) also from June of this yearCredit card issuers often do transmit employment data to the credit bureausWhile I cannot guarantee that FNB Omaha was the source of the information you dispute, it seems to be the most likely case
To have the information corrected, I would encourage you to either dispute the information directly with Experian by visiting www.experian.com, or to file a dispute with FNB OmahaIf you have any further questions or if I can be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact me directly
Sincerely,
***

06/26/12:pm az timeAlthough I contacted FNB of Omahatoday and they verified I submitted the statement income is from va disability under employment and that it was they who transmitted it to Experian while pulling the report, RHR is still responsible for the correction to experian of their clerical error of 01/01/.Correct birthday is ***
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2014/07/01) */
We are disappointed to learn that the consumer has not accepted our responseFrom her comments it sounds like she agrees that another company was responsible for the change in her employment data with Experian, but she still holds us responsible for the incorrect birth date informationI would like to reiterate that our company was given her correct DOB from the apartment complex she applied with, and we directly transmitted that correct DOB to Experian in the process of ordering her credit reportAt no time did our file on the consumer contain an incorrect date of birthWe would gladly provide documentation supporting this and would appreciate the Revdex.com's guidance on how to resolve this issueWe take consumer complaints very seriously and strive to reach satisfactory resolutions for all parties involved

We do have a compliance audit that we are required to perform on all new accounts per FCRA regulations that can require a few hours to complete based upon how responsive the new client is in getting back to us with necessary documentation. That being said, we received the client's request to
de-activate the account and refund her activation fee. We immediately began that process upon receipt of the request and have also credited the card back for all charges, however those credits can take a couple of business days to appear within the account. We believe that we've fully resolved the request of the client and have not behaved in an unprofessional manner

I set up an account with Rental History Reports today I uploaded al the information needed so I could get a report for applicant The log in information they sent didn't allow me to log on The Report section said the report was pending, and when I went to search for the report by the applicant's name it showed it didn't exist I have a tenant who needs to leave in the AM to return to the city they are from, and it has now been hours I have tried to get this report, and no report I am in jeopardy of losing this tenant because of the unprofessionalism of this site

I am rejecting this response because: I do not want RHR’s moneyFirst, I want to thank the Revdex.com for taking the time to do this investigationThe knowledge that there is some place consumers can further their grievances and concerns of injustice is a big reliefThat being said, the response of RHR is an attempt to deny their wrong doing and deceive instead of apologizing.I have a social security number as any other AmericanUnder that number is my full nameReports are pulled based on SS numbers to alleviate errors for a reason; especially since women tend to go through a name change following marriageWhen I contacted RHR, I provided them my full name, social security number and date of birth. They had no trouble identifying me; absolutely no trouble or error there! RHR finally produced my report on September 20th for the first time after being threatened with legal actionsIt took them days to come up with oneAfter their fiasco, I gathered all of my records and met with the management of Beach South and was able to resolve everythingI challenged them against my record and was able to get the apartment making the regular $depositMy credit score is good even though Beach South “acceptance isn’t credit score based” but most importantly, I have absolutely zero delinquent accountsRHR has a game going on and somehow their interest in tenants paying a higher deposit, which is retained for the life of the lease is questionable but I’ll leave their pending disgrace to GodAfricans have a proverb that “whatever goes on in the dark after a while will see daylight”Whatever games RHR is playing with consumers will backfire someday, and with God’s grace I’ll be around to witness the fallWells Fargo didn’t believe that they’d ever get caught! God is very present and concern with our everyday living!!Thank you again and God bless

My Rental History has shown and advertising falsifying information about what they service provideAs I was looking for information about what they service said they provided which was rental history history(Shown on the the website)https://www.myrentalhistoryreport.com/blog/checking-your-rental-history/... I purchased to service for $based on what they said they provided
The company does not provide you with a rental history report as they statedThe company only provide you with a credit report not rental history report I called and stated to them what I just noted and also stated that I already have my own credit report and wanted a rental history report I also forward their website to them in an email stated what they providedThe only thing they said was"Oh I'm sorry." I asked for a refund

I ordered a background check and employment verification from this site the other day. I thought I was going to receive my employment history (as advertised at the top of the order page) but only received a background check for $37.95. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS FALSE ADVERTISING!
