I reject this offer due to no services or claims was ever use and it only fair that I have all of the money that was taken out of my account. and it was fraud and far as i'm concern they would only return 1 dollar if the Better Business had not step In to resolve this matter I would like to know how much of my money they will be refunding? Before I would accept this offer

Good Afternoon,                 In response to the case number listed above, we understand that Ms. [redacted] expressed concern with an offer that she may have received from us.  Prior to our addressing Ms. [redacted] concerns we...

would like to make known that often times consumers receive multiple offers from companies that provide similar services to Repair Defense Network.  As such we are uncertain as to whether Ms. [redacted] may have received multiple offers from multiple providers. Additionally, the fact that Ms. [redacted] indicated that she received multiple inbound phone calls to [enter his or her] telephone number leads us to believe that Ms. [redacted] has directed [enter his or her] complaint to the wrong company.  We say this because Repair Defense Network does not make any outbound sales calls.  Rather the only sales calls Repair Defense Network handles are those in which individuals call into our company expressing an interest in the services we provide.  That said our company wishes to address Ms. [redacted]‘s concerns.  Repair Defense Network provides vehicle service contracts for consumers who have either had their factory warranty expire or are about to. Ms. [redacted], via the offer she may have received from us, would have been given the option to purchase a vehicle protection plan prior to their becoming ineligible and as such being forced to pay costly auto repairs out of pocket. Repair Defense Network’s offers make it clear that their offers are not from the recipients’ motor vehicle manufacturers and our offers also clearly disclose all material terms.   However we are concerned with any dissatisfaction Ms. [redacted] may have experienced.  Because of this we have placed Ms. [redacted]’s contact information on our internal “Do Not Mail” list.  This will make it so Ms. [redacted] will not receive any further mail from our company.                     We at Repair Defense Network strive at providing the highest level of customer service to our customers. If there are any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call our support line at [redacted].

Good Afternoon,
We are in receipt of the Revdex.com complaint from Mr.[redacted] in regards to a reimbursement. At Repair Defense Network, we are the marketer of the policy. All claims are underwritten and adjudicated by his administrator Interstate National Dealer. Until we received this...

complaint, we were unaware of any claims issues. We did contact the administrator on his behalf and we were able to get the claim reimbursed. We have spoken with Mr. [redacted] and he seems pleased with the results.   In the future, if there is anything we can assist with, we ask you to please contact us directly.

Thank you

Good Afternoon,  We would be happy to provide that information. As outlined in the contract and per notification from our customer support team when you called to cancel, we are in need of the cancel documentation including the current odometer statement to provide you with those details. Please send those as requested and we would be happy to provide that information. Thank you

In response to the case number listed above, we understand that Mrs. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] received an offer from us to purchase long term protection for their vehicle. On May 29, 2015 Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] responded to our advertisement and...

called our office to purchase the protection plan. They did mention that they believe they had some factory warranty remaining, but wanted to purchase the additional five year coverage. The level of coverage offered to consumers is purely based on the year, make, and mileage at the time they contact us. With their vehicle being 3 years old, we were still able to offer them a Diamond coverage, similar to what the dealership offered when they purchased the car new. In December of 2015, the customer contacted us again stating they wanted to cancel the coverage due to the remaining coverage they had left with the manufacturer. We did not want to see Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] lose the Diamond coverage so we applied a savings program and deferred a payment to help them. They stated at the time, they wanted to keep the coverage. In March of 2015, out customer support department reached out to Mrs. [redacted] because they had a payment that had gone past due. She requested we move her payment to the end of March, which we did. She called us again at the end of March stating she didn’t get her paperwork and wanted to cancel. We explained the cancellation procedures and stopped the consumer’s coverage. As of April 5th, the customer was mailed her pro-rated refund as outlined in the policy.  We at Repair Defense Network strive at providing the highest level of customer service to our customers. If there are any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call our support line at 877.470.5878.

In response to your recent complaint we have reviewed your account and verified that your account was cancelled, per your request on May 9, 2016 and no payments have been drafted since.  In regards to the payment that was drafted earlier that day, the payment had been drafted by the billing...

company on the scheduled date (May 9th) prior to you calling in that day to cancel your policy.  Your bank should be able to verify this.  We will be providing you a pro-rated refund of the money you had invested upon the receipt of your letter therefore withdrawing any additional payments after you cancelled the policy and against your will would not serve any benefit to our company.  We do apologize for any confusion that this situation may have caused.  If you have any questions feel free to call our office.  Thank you.

The vehicle service contract industry in the past has had issues with customer complaints involving scams but be rest assured, we are not one of those companies. All of our Administrators not only have A ratings with the Revdex.com, but they are also all insured by A+ rated insurers. Some of which underwrite manufacturer warranties such as [redacted]. We appreciate your feedback and have removed you from our mailing list and you will no longer receive notices from Repair Defense Network.

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]I totally reject the company’s response and feel that I should receive my full refund due to their false information and did not sign an agreement for long-term protection of our vehicle. This company was very slick in convincing customers the advantage of signing up for this warranty deal. However, I did a lot of research on line on what these companies do and have seen hundreds of complaints. It made me skeptical and insisted to their sales folks that I wanted to have my policy effective the month after my dealer warranty was to expire. They try to be convincing that you are getting a good deal and will work with you in making payments. Their collection company Pay Link is also not trustworthy, for they deposited my check twice. With this said, I was highly upset and requested to terminate my policy. They said I had to put it in writing as to my request. I informed them, why should I put it in writing if they never received a signed agreement in the first place. They said that we agree to the policy on the phone and that was their acknowledgement. I then said well use this conversation as an acknowledgement that I wanted to terminate the policy. I feel this company is not legitimate and very misleading.

Good Afternoon,
In response to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted], we did further investigation on her behalf. As the marketer of vehicle service contracts, we do not have the ability to approve or deny claims. All claims are handled by the administrator. That being said, Ms. [redacted]...

policy was to go into affect 30 days and 1000 miles from the purchase date. Ms. [redacted] filed a claim at day 29 after purchase, which still put her within her probationary period. Her claim was denied only because she was still within her grace period and her claim was deemed a pre-existing condition.  All policies sold have a minimum waiting period to ensure customers are not purchasing coverage with issues already in place. Per the dealership, the issue she was having was in place prior to purchasing coverage and would automatically be deemed a pre-existing condition. If Ms. [redacted] decides she would like to stop her coverage, her cancellation procedures are printed in the contract. She can send the cancellation request in and her refund will be processed as outlined in the agreement. If Ms. [redacted] should have questions, she is welcome to contact our customer support center.

Thank you

Worst business ever, they are out to screw the customer. After paying them for & months almost $1300.00 they will not cover a claim. Stating have not met there grace period because the car has only been driven 600 miles. So I go to cancel the policy and they only want to refund $700.00 stating my car has been covered. Uh no it hasn't if I haven"t made the grace period how was I covered. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company.
