Replacement Laptop Keys

Review: I placed an order to purchase a backspace key for my Hewlett Packard laptop computer on Replacementlaptopkeys.com website on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 3:58 PM. The order was for the following: 1 HP G71 SILVER BLACK Replacement Laptop Keys. The order confirmation invoice number was 149805. Then I received an e-mail from Replacementlaptopkeys.com on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 9:55 AM saying the item was shipped & my credit card was charged. Later that same day at 5:36 PM in the evening I recieved an e-mail from "James" at Replacementlapkeys.com saying the item I ordered is out of stock. Then on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 James at Replacementlapkeys.com offered me two plastic retainer clips since the backspace key was out of stock. The next day Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 8:05 AM I e-mailed Replacementkeys.com and said No Thank You to the two plastic retainer clips because the backspace key was still out of stock. I asked Replacementlaptopkeys.com to cancel my order on March 20, 2014. I have the e-mail for my files. I have sent Replacementlaptopkeys.com at least 8 e-mails since March 20, 2014 regarding the cancellation of my order and status of my refund of $7.15. As of today, April 3, 2014 I still have not received an e-mail confirming my order was cancelled and when my refund will be processed. The customer service needs improvement since they are quick to charge your credit card, but no response from the company when it comes to cancelling the order. How come the product was not shown as out of stock when I placed my order on-line through Replacementlaptopkeys.com on March 13, 2014? I would have never ordered the product if I had known it was out of stock. Then to send me an e-mail saying it was shipped and my credit card was charged, but the item is out of stock? This in my opinion shows poor business practices if you are really putting the customer first and making sure the customer is 100% satisfied with his or her order according to the company website.Desired Settlement: Please cancel my order per my e-mail I sent on Thursday, March 20, 2014 to Replacementlaptopkeys.com. Please refund my Visa credit card $7.15 the amount Replacementlaptopkeys.com charged my Visa credit card on March 13, 2014. Please provide me with an update as to when I will receive the refund on my Visa credit card.

Review: I ordered two Asus G750JW Laptop Keyboard Keys from this website on the 8th of April, 2015, my order number being #[redacted]. Shortly after, they were marked as shipped, but I received a message from them saying that my keys had not been shipped, and that they were out of stock. They then proceeded to lie about being the only suppliers of this particular key, and promised that they could get it within 2-3 weeks. I agreed on the condition that I be refunded the amount I paid for fast shipping. Although the order has been marked as shipped again, as of May 5, 2015, I have not received a refund on my fast shipping to my [redacted] account.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund that was agreed upon by both parties

Review: On Tuesday, December 16th of 2014, I placed an order for a replacement SPACE AC07 key on my Mid-2012 13" MacBook Air. The invoice number for the order is 179821. The confirmation number is [redacted]. I received an email that my order had actually not been shipped, as the store was out of stock on the key that I ordered. The email specifically reads, "Hi, Thank you for your order but please disregard previous email about your order being send. We are currently out of stock on the key that you ordered, we have the HINGE CLIP ONLY (the plastic thing under the key cap) Would sending you that be enough to fix your keyboard?? Very sorry about this inconvenice, please let me know ASAP so I can process your order. Thank You. [redacted]" I replied on Monday, December 22nd saying that the hinge cap would not be enough to fix my key, and that I would like a refund. It is now Sunday, December 28th, and I have still received no email of refund from "[redacted]"Desired Settlement: I would just like the refund on my Visa.

The customer was already refunded on the 30th of DEC after notifying us that apple took care of her laptop, and she no longer needed the key... so I don't know why the complaint.

My personal laptop was missing a key for over a year and it always bothered me, but I didn't know I could order a replacement so easily. I found Replacement Laptop Keys through a Google search & had an EXCELLENT experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Their website made it easy to determine the "key type" using photos for people like me who are not tech savvy. I placed my order and had it delivered within 5 days without expedited shipping. I received the right key the 1st time. They also included a hinge clip & rubber cup, which I didn't even know was needed. The parts are very small so they packaged them very thoughtfully so when you open the envelope they stay in place. The whole process was FAST & the key was SIMPLE to install. My laptop keyboard is looking like NEW!
