opportunity for additional membership benefits.  The program offers rebates on magazine subscriptions plus additional opportunities for discounts on camping reservations, outdoor related equipment, travel, and gear. Mr. [redacted] would have been notified during the reservation process of his eligibility for the Active Advantage membership.  The process includes a confirmation page outlining the benefits and how to opt out of the trail program.  Upon Mr. [redacted] selecting the free trail option, he was authorizing finalization of the enrollment process and agreeing to the terms of the offer. A refund escalation request has been sent to Active Advantage’s leadership team.  They have confirmed they will be reaching out to Mr. [redacted] to resolve his request.            Mr. [redacted] concerns involving the reservation process have been documented and we sincerely appreciate Mr. [redacted] patronage.  We hope that he can find clarification in our response.

a refund of $771.00.  The refund process normally takes three to five business days to finalize.  Ms. [redacted] notified us on October 20, 2015 that she had not received her refund.  A case escalation process was started to determine the issue and resolve.  Our Finance Department expedited a check refund.  Ms. [redacted] was notified via phone and email that her refund was being sent United Parcel Service for a delivery of October 22, 2015.  United Parcel Service tracking confirms Ms. [redacted] received her refund of $771.00 on October 22, 2015 at 7:47 AM. We sincerely appreciate Ms. [redacted]’s patronage and hope that she can find clarification in our response.  Thank you,Teresa K[redacted]Customer Support Manager, Service Resolution

I just wanted to let you know that I received a refund check from the State of California yesterday.  Thank you and all involved in getting things resolved.  Although I am pleased to receive the money, I am even more heartened by having the experience of an organization which can be effective at the work they do.

agreed to abide by the conditions of New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry policies prior to using our services.  The reservation process provides the customer with opportunities to confirm acceptance of the reservation and cancellation policies before finalizing the transaction.  An email confirmation of the transaction, policies, and reservation details are sent upon completion.  Ms. [redacted]’s confirmation was sent to a[redacted]@gmail.com.   The New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry policy has a $9.75 reservation fee which is non-refundable.  The cancellation policy reflected on the website and the confirmation letter state that all cancellations will incur a $7.50 cancellation transaction fee plus a $40 (NJ Resident) / $50 (Out of State Resident) or a 2 night use fee (whichever is less) that will be deducted from any refund due. A refund request has been submitted on behalf of Ms. [redacted] to New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. We sincerely appreciate Ms. [redacted]’s patronage.  We hope that she can find clarification in our response.

I totally disagree with your response, the website is geared so that it appears that you have to agree for this subscription in order to make your reservation... I made a reservation for my mother and for me several years ago using the same credit card but different e-mail addresses.  i was charged for this magazine subscription not once but twice.  I did not realize that I had purchased the service until they billed my credit card not once but twice under both email addresses.  i never received any magazine,any free camping, any rebates on camping, or any discounts that were stated in the response below.  all I received was two separate charges on my credit card for a service that I never knew that I had signed up for.  This is a scam.... you should make it where you can make your camping reservation without being enrolled into anything.  then you should have an option if you would like to enroll in this program.  do not make it where it automatically enrolls you and you have to find a way to unroll from the program.  that makes this a scam  since this has happened I try to steer away from making a reservation over the internet and try to phone in all new reservations.  i have a lot of fellow campers and we all seem to feel the same way about this....run the site correctly....I have complained to my state over this practice... thanks

opportunities to confirm acceptance of the reservation and cancellation policies before finalizing the transaction.  An email confirmation of the transaction, policies, and reservation details are sent upon completion.  Mr. [redacted] confirmation was sent to [email protected].   Mr. [redacted] account reflects a reservation was created on April 25, 2016 via the public website.  On May 3, 2016 the reservation first reflects a shortening of the original dates booked on April 25, 2016 which resulted in a $13 refund minus a $9 change fee per policy.  A few minutes later the reservation was cancelled providing a refund of $79 minus a $9 cancellation fee.  The remaining $27 is due to a $9 reservation fee, $9 change fee, and a $9 cancellation fee which are out lined in the reservation and cancellation process in addition to reflecting on the email confirmation.As a courtesy to Mr. [redacted], a refund in the amount of $27 has been issued back to his account on May 18, 2016.  Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the refund to reflect on the account.Mr. [redacted] concerns involving the reservation process have been documented and we sincerely appreciate Mr. [redacted] patronage.  We hope that he can find clarification in our response.     Thank you,

9/07/2013 I book a reservation with Reserved America under a disability campsite. I had advise the representative there that I had booked in error but I booked it really quick at work and if I could be able to get a refund. Representative advise that they have sent the reservation back to Reserve America and it is up to Reserve America if they will reissue a payment back to my credit card. Please allow 6-8 weeks. In the mean time if I wanted to stay I can book a campsite for a night of 45.00 and an additional night on 9/7/2013 if there were any available campsite available. ( In total $98.00 )

11/4/2013 Spoke with [redacted] at the customer service department, she advise that since the park decided not to refund the amount for reservation # [redacted]. I feel that it is unreasonable that I not only paid $98.00 for 2 nights and Reserve America kept my original reservation of $98.00. I feel that I am being ripped off for my $98.00. I advise the representative she stated it prompted me that a disable placard card was needed. I advise her it was done in error because I was at work. I do not understand why they can not refund me my money.
