We have again checked our records and found client was sent emails between 3/*/and 10/**/17. We are using the same email address that the client responded to while submitting her applicationPerhaps, they are in her spam file. In addition, we have notes on a conversation with the client on 7/**/17, where she was again advised to forward her proof of income so the REPAYE application could be submitted to further lower her monthly payment and put her on a path for possible loan forgiveness in the future. We can not comment on the advice she received from her loan servicer

Client not found in CRM, until we noticed her email address was ***. Client is in CRM under *** ***Upon review of client file, client’s loans were consolidated and application for REPAYE was completed and was/is awaiting receipt of client Proof of Income.
The consolidation put her into a standard repayment plan (a necessary first step to REPAYE) and the REPAYE application will put the client into a pay-as-you-earn payment schedule and a path to loan forgivenessCompany has continued to reach out to client to complete REPAYE. Client has not responded, nor has she cancelled her contract with Company. Client received the consolidation services and the Company continues to wait for the proof of income documents to complete REPAYE, and further reduce her monthly payments

? The "services" rendered by this business were not acceptable because...? It was NOT made clear that the $42/month was a fee to be paidI was under the impression that it was the actual student loan paymentUpon further research, I have discovered that many other people have also been mistaken about this and fallen for the same mis-informationIf this many people are confused, the business is either not explaining the process clearly, or they are simply being untruthful.? ? I called to check on the status of my application days following my initial application on Sept**Nothing had changed on my loansI had been signed up to pay a fee for nothingNOBODY needs to pay for help with their student loansI have since contacted my original, Department of Education-approved loan servicer, and they are helping me apply for the service I need FOR FREE and within daysThe argument of paying someone for doing my taxes...I pay $to have my taxes done, NOT $This is extortion and a scamTo charge people this amount and then make it unclear where exactly this fee is going is really horribleI am a teacher and have a young familyI do not have time for this kind of ridiculous nonsense.? ? After a second review, [redacted] clearly acknowledged our fee was to be paid outside of her student loan payment.? We submitted the application, consolidation was done for part of the loans, and the client was advised that DoE took 60-days to approve the REPAYE application.? After
days, the client called looking for approval.? Apparently at that point, she called her servicer to ask why we hadn't heard back.? The application was at DoE not the servicer.? In fact, when the client is approved the loans move to a new servicer, so the servicer is disincented to help the clients move into these new programs (lower monthly payments, etc.).? The servicer never told her she would have lower monthly payments and PSLF in place from our service to her.? So the servicer says we are a Scam? No, we are doing for the client what the servicer is failing to do.? Our specialist did an excellent job for [redacted], and she would have significantly benefited financially (after our fees) from our help.? Can the consumer do the work themselves, absolutely, as we highlight on page of our consumer agreement.? The consumer can also do their own taxes, but many would rather have a specialist help them, because when it comes to your money, its too important to do it right.? ?

Tell us why here... Ref: #[redacted] Client contract was cancelled 10/**/2017.  No services were rendered and no fees were charged.

Complaint # [redacted]                    [redacted] Client not found in CRM.  Maybe under a different name or may not be the Company’s client.  A different company, National Student Servicing,...

used the Student Loan Care name prior to 6/*/2016.

[redacted]:Client called customer service and was explained on the service, etc. Customer STILL ACTIVE and not cancelled. Customer says she was not going to cancel because she cannot afford the cancellation fee.
