I originally paid $2.00 for me resume and a additional $0.90 fee totaling to $2.90 on resumehelp.com. All of a sudden I seen a $24.90 monthly subscription fee charge on my card without knowing about it or my consent. I don’t understand why they are charging me but I am now requesting for the $24.90 refund. Also I canceled my account and hope they don’t charge me again.

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve
this complaint from ***. We
have reviewed our files and our records show that *** signed up for our Resume
Builder services on May 16, 2020. The
copy online clearly provided *** with a choice of full access for 14 days
at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a
monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per
month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long. *** chose to accept our offer for 14 day
full access, which automatically renews monthly. On the page where *** made that
selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly
and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews
at $24.90 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly
disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on May 31,
2020 to our monthly service at $24.90 per month.'' This page also provides
information on how *** could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, *** was also sent an email to
the email address provided to us on the same day confirming ***’s access to
our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins
immediately and renews automatically on May 31, 2020 to our recurring monthly
service at $24.90 per month.'' Accordingly, on May 31, 2020 ***’s card was
charged $24.90 for the applicable month of service. Our records do not show any cancellation
attempts nor cancellation requests by *** previous to the date of the
charges. Although our charges are not refundable as
stated in our Terms and Conditions, Resume Help was able to make an exception
for *** and have decided to process one (1) refund in the amount of $24.90
on June 2, 2020. Our Customer Service Team has refunded *** $24.90 as of
June 2, 2020.Please advise Mr. to allow up to five
(5) business days from the processing date for the funds to be credited to his
bank account. We trust this addresses any concerns you may
have.

Resume Help double charged our account for 24.90 in March and called them and they said they only see one charge and said they can lower the price to 9.95 a month and now today April 6th a charge for 24.90 and 9.95 came out of our account. Called again and they said I should see one refund of 24.90 in 3-5 days. After the call, we cancelled the account. I'm also wanting the 24.90 from April back since it was suppose to be 9.95. Im wanting my 49.80 back from those scammers.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

We have went through our bank and this has been resolved and needs too be closed.

Sincerely

Used ResumeHelp to print out a resume which was $2.00 plus another $0.90 fee that I paid for. All of the sudden without my knowledge I see they charged me $24.90 for a monthly subscription to use their service. I don't know why they are charging me and I request to get my money back and put an end to their monthly charges.

Thanks

Look at this companies complaint that are filed it's a virtual broken record of people getting charged after they cancelled or thought that they did. It's just a matter of time when it's the same type of complaint from the same company over and over. They fraudulently took money from me and I want it back.

Be warned, this company will automatically sign you up for a monthly fee of $24.95 after 14 days without your consent, even if you only use the $2.90 one-time print/email option. Even more deceitful is that they do not tell you at the onset that you will have to pay anything to build a resume on their site, as it comes up in a search engine search for free resume templates. I had my credit card dispute the charge and block the vendor from ever charging my card again. After threatening to contact the Revdex.com, the customer support person on their end eventually went to a supervisor and agreed to cancel my "subscription" as a one time courtesy. Avoid this company, they are not Revdex.com accredited.

I pay $1.90 for download resume that I have created on 2019 Oct. 28. I did not pay very detail attention on the email that I have received, I did not know I will be automatically charged $34.9 every month, because I think the email was a confirmation order for download resume. Today I just found out I had a $34.9 charged by Resumehelp in on Dec. 10, and then I checked my Nov. bill, I was charged for $34.9 as well. I had not used Resumehelp service at all after first time purchasing $1.90. Resumehelp has not inform customer that customers are automatically charged for membership at the first time of purchasing. If I know that, I will not give my credit card information to Resumehelp. I am very upset to be charged $69.8 in total for a service that I do not use at all. If I do not review my bank statements, I think I would be charged for even more. I called customer service, the representative is not helping me out, they don't want to give me refund. and intend to say this is my fault to not read the email carefully. And the Sale rep even try to sell me future membership for $4 every month. So why I was charged for $34.9, if your service is only worth for $4.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me. I am happy they funded the money, but their story just isn't true, when I called and emailed them, they stated they had no record of me or my credit card. In the end the people that call them out and contact their banks like I did, get refunded, but make no mistake , this is a scam

Sincerely

The functionality worked well enough. But the Customer service are a bunch of crooks. I cancelled my subscription the same day it was charged for the next month. And they told me I had to get another subscription to get the refund of the cancelled one. I recieved a email stating I would get a refund but then says you have to cancel your membership or you'll be charged monthly. They wouldnt give the refund. His name was Eduardo F. Terrible way to do business.

I registered to resumehelp to fill my resume and I did that paying approximately 3$. After that I completely forgot about this website. One day I noticed that they charged me for 24.99 and I send them an email to stop that and refund my money back, but I got no answer. Yesterday again I checked my account and again they charged for 24.99 even though I am not using their service at all. I don't know why they are charging me but I request to refund all my money back!

I was told I was only going to have to pay $2 for the creation of my resume on the website. However, these scammers, have been taking $24.90 MONTHLY from my credit card account for the past 14 months. I was not notified that I would have to pay $24.90 monthly. This website was no help at all, and I am very shocked at how much they tried to convince me that it was my fault. After speaking to them on the phone, they seem to be TOTAL scammers and they are not helpful. I asked to speak to the manager and the man on the phone completely disregarded my questions and avoided replying to my requests. This company is a SCAM.

When I paid the 2.90 cents to use a resume template for a one time use, I do not recall seeing they’d sign you up for a subscription of 25$ a month! The customer service man not the phone was manipulative, rude, and the company felt like a complete scam. He started to threaten me about not giving me the refund amount because I asked for the 24.90 refunded and the 2.90 since I was not happy which was clearly their policy when I paid! He threatened to reverse the 25$ refund and only give me the 3$ refund since I asked him questions and he got mad and wouldn’t answer honestly about the refund policy! He wouldn’t shut up about how I would be rude to not keep my account and share it with my family?!? They are horrible!!!!!

I downloaded a Word document and PDF version of my resume. Upon applying for another job I noticed the bullet points were missing from the second page of both. I requested a new copy be sent to me without the error and was told by Alondra O that she would email me both. I offered to send proof of the error should she need it. She later told me I would need to pay $24.95 to reactive my account. I do not believe this to be fair as I am asking for what I already purchased without error and not access to a premium account.

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from Mrs. ***.

We have attached a copy of Mrs.’s resume in PDF as well as MS Word (docx.) with the requested changes.

We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.

I originally signed up for a free trial with resume gig, I called back within 24 hours and stated I did not want there services and to cancel my subscription. The person on the line stated I did not have and account only the free services and I would not be charged any fees. In the beginning of June 2019 I was charged 24.99 for this service when I originally thought it was not active when I called in the previous month.
When I tried to contact the online chat with requesting cancellation of my services, they gave me resistance to cancel my request. After 20 mins of chat and numerous times of requesting cancelation the person I was chatting with Alexander would not cancel my subscriptions until I threatened to make a complaint on him, then finally within 30 seconds it was done. Poor customer service and stole 24.99 from me, I will be disputing the return of my money as well.

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from ***. We have reviewed our files and our records show that *** signed up for our Resume Builder services on April 18, 2019. The copy online clearly provided *** with a choice of full access for 14 days at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long. *** chose to accept our offer for 14 day full access, which automatically renews monthly. On the page where *** made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews at $24.90 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on May 3, 2019 to our monthly service at $24.90 per month.'' This page also provides information on how *** could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, *** was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming ***’s access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on May 3, 2019 to our recurring monthly service at $24.90 per month.'' Accordingly, on May 3, 2019 ***’s card was charged $24.90 for the applicable month of service.

Our records do not show any cancellations nor cancellation requests from *** before the date of the charges.

Although our monthly charges are not refundable, ResumeGig was willing to make an exception for *** and provide her a refund of one (1) monthly charge totaling $24.90. Our customer service team refunded *** the amount of $24.90 as of June 17, 2019. Please advise Mrs. to allow up to five business days for the refund to fully process and be credited to her bank account.

We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.

On May 30, 2017 I used www.resumehelp.com to create a resume, I payed the 1.95 for the ability to print said resume. Nowhere on this page was a continuous subscription mentioned, in fact it was advertised as entirely free. After the purchase I thought the transaction was done, that was until May 31, 2019. I had been automatically signed up for a monthly subscription that costed 24.95 a month. I cannot provide the benefits of this subscription, if there are any, as I only used the service once. This resulted in twenty six unwanted charges over the course of two years on my bank account that totaled to 648 dollars. I have since cancelled and found numerous results of a similar situation involving resumehelp. I first contacted the company through email and was left unsatisfied with their response. Out of twenty six payments they only wanted to provide a refund for one, which totals to 24.95. Any further emails only resulted in them proclaiming it was entirely my fault despite never wanting their subscription to begin with. The company is not upfront at all, and will only send one email of confirmation before signing you up. Which at the time I believed was just for the 1.95 printing payment. In fact after trying to dispute with them I conveniently could not leave a review of their customer experience. I am incredibly unpleased and feel scammed if not short of robbed for printing a resume.

Revdex.com:

I comply with this resolution and believe it to be a satisfactory end to the dispute. I appreciate the aid of the Revdex.com, and the outcome of my case.

Sincerely

I registered for discount resume structuring services at $2.90, offered by Resumehelp, for a limited time. I contacted them and cancelled within the designed time period constraint. I used a debit card, which is rarely used, to pay the discounted fee. So, it was not detected that this company had been debiting my card the full-price fee, $24.90, for the past 9 months. I contacted their customer service department and the representative could not locate my account; confirming it had been cancelled. This person had to perform a reverse search, via my debit card information, to locate the transaction. I have not used this service since its cancellation in August 2018.

We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.

I paid the initial fee to use the service. I had a 28 day trial period. After about three days I emailed them to cancel my subscription and not withdraw any more money from my account. They replied that I was in a free trial subscription. Two days later they withdrew $24.95 from my account without authorization. I want to be refunded the money that they took without my consent.

I am rejecting this response because:It is not true. They have taken money from my bank account without my consent. If the account is free, why did they do so? I have a screen shot of the bank transaction if you need it.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely

In 2016 I had gone onto Resumegig.com to purchase a resume template. I was under the impression that it had a one time fee to use the template. There was no information about it being a "subscription". Each month from then on, they charged my debit account for their website use. I Only had used their website once to use the template. From March 28, 2016 until September 10, 2018, I was being charged every month for their services. I didn't have access to my statements so I had not seen these charges. If I had seen the charges, I would have dealt with this right away. The company had recently decided to refund me only 15 payments out of the full 35 payments after I called them to resolve this issued in October 2018. I have not heard anymore information since those refunds were put into my account. The company still owes me 19 refunds from the other 20 charges taken from my debit account. I called again on February 25, 2019 to finish resolving this issue. I asked for a Supervisor to speak with and the associate pulled all my personal information out of me and then said he would transfer me over to a supervisor, when he just hung up on me instead. So I called back and had to go through all the same thing of giving my personal information out and was transfered to a supposed "supervisor". She told me the company had already made a final descision to only refund me 15 of the 35 charges. I explained that I was not happy with that result since they were taking 19 payments of my money which I consider it as stealing from me. I asked for another supervisor or someone higher up, along with contact information to the Home office or Corporate office. She refused and said there was nothing she could do. I explained that her customer service was horrible because she was not trying to help me resolve this issue. I told her the company had previously in October 2018, looked back into 2016 and saw that I had never used their site after the first time when I purchased the "template".

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from Ms. *** (“***”).
We have reviewed our files and our records show that *** signed up for our Resume Builder services on October 28, 2014. On the page where *** made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews at $39.80 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on November 12, 2014 to our monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' This page also provides information on how *** could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, *** was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming ***’s access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on November 12, 2014 to our recurring monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' Accordingly, on November 12, 2014 ***’s card was charged $39.80 for the applicable month of service.

We value our customer here at Resume Gig and want to do all that we can to resolve issues such as these. Although our terms and conditions state that our charges are not refundable, our dedicated Customer Service team has processed a refund for fifteen (15) charges in the amount of $39.80 each. As of March 11, 2019 *** has been refunded a total amount of $597.00. Lastly, we have attached a copy of the initial confirmation email sent to Ms. we mentioned above. Please notice that we reference our auto-renewal policy and information on how to cancel in a conspicuous manner as previously mentioned.
We trust this resolves this issue in hand.

My credit card was charge 2x for 24.90 back to back in a month of January,I used the service December and it said free and they will charge my card if I don’t cancel it in 14 days and when I forgot to cancel they charged my card 2 times ,I tried to call to cancel and the agent gave me a run around and eventually hanged up the phone on meRefund my money!! Free as advertised but they charged 2x in a month so customer will have no chance to cancel it.IT IS DEFINETELY A SCAM AND DECEIVING THEIR CUSTOMERS

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from Mrs. *** (“***”).
We have reviewed our files and our records show that *** created an account in our ResumeHelp website on December 13, 2018. To create an account on our website, *** had to agree to our Terms of Use (“ToU”) as a requirement before opening her account.
As stated in our ToU agreed to by all of our clients, as *** had to do, after the $2.90 14-day trial, a recurring monthly charge of $24.90 is added to the account (if the subscription has not been cancelled within the 14-day trial period). They are also non-refundable as our ToU state. Our records do not show any cancellations nor cancellation requests by *** previous to the date of the charges.
Nevertheless, we value our customers here at ResumeHelp and want to do all that we can to successfully handle any issues they may have. As such, our customer service team processed two (2) refunds in the amounts of $24.90 each as of January 29, 2019. Furthermore, the account associated to this complaint was cancelled on January 29, 2019 as well.

We trust this resolves the situation in hand.

I signed up for the 14 day trial. I had 14 days to cancel before they charged me full monthly fee. I cancelled in time, but they charged me 29.90 before the fourteen days. I contacted them and they verified cancellation and returned the 29.90. Four days later they charged my card another 30.20 and keep telling me no other charge was taken. I proceeded to screenshot the proof and they keep giving me the run-around. I had to cancel my bank card because I'm afraid they will keep taking my money. These people are crooks. I wish I would have read the reviews on here before I used them. Please shut them down.

Furthermore, the account associated to this complaint was cancelled on December 31, 2018 as well.

As for the additional charge for $30.20 that Mrs.’s mentions, our records do not show this as processed. At this time, we request that Mrs. provides a copy of a bank statement that shows both the duplicate charge and the original charge in order for our Technical Team to be able to locate such charge.
We hope to hear from Mrs. soon to be able to resolve this situation promptly.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: as you can see on the file an additional 30.20 was taken. I sent the same screenshot to them as well. Yes they did return the other fees. I expected to pay the 2.90, but I cancelled 4 days before the 14 day trial period. They charged me before it ended and proceeded to charge me again on the 4th of January. Awful business. I will never deal with them again and I will surely tell a friend not to as well.

Sincerely
