I took my car in for repairs they kept it days, charged me $did nothing and said I needed to go elsewhere
*** *** Auto & Tire

To Whom It May Concern
On Tuesday the 27th of December, 2016, I was shopping and smoke or steam began coming out from my hood on the passenger's side of the car I stopped the car and the smoke/steam stopped I looked under the hood and there did not seem to be damage and there was no smell of fire I drove the car to the *** *** Auto and Tire shop at ***his was no more than 1/mile from where I was.) It was about 3:PM They were busy and when I requested a courtesy ride home they refused (I only live about mile from the shop.) So I walked I also asked if they would check the right rear window, as it did not open and close properly They said they would contact me They did not
On Wednesday the 28th of December, around 3:Pm I had not heard from anyone, so

I was charged $by Rick Johnson for services that were not done to my vehicle I was promised a refund and have not received it after weeks
On 7/18/17, I took my vehicle to Rick Johnson with issues to be fixed: my radio's amplifier and my AC blower did not run off when the car turned off, causing my car battery to drain and die They told me that they easily fixed the issues just fine, and I came in that afternoon, paid them $252.96, and immediately after found that the issue was not fixed at allThe amplifier still stayed on when I shut the car off, and my battery was still being drained I went immediately back into the store to tell them, and they apologized severely and blamed the other store location for this, saying that they had not actually done the work themselves, but that my car was taken to a second location who apparently did not fix this and lied to me when saying that they did The store associate told me to bring my vehicle back in tomorrow and he promi

Shop charged me for alignment, then said it didn't need it when it did, had someone do it with a wrench and didn't lower the price to no alignment rate
I went there for a new gear box installation on my truckThey told me how much for installation and then said they need to charge me for alignmentI said I'll go somewhere that charges a decent rate instead of getting ripped offHe argued that he HAD to do an alignment with this repair or the truck wouldn't driveI said noHe said ok I'll only charge you instead of for alignmentI said ok fine thenAfter it was done I showed up and they said actually your truck didn't need alignmentI said ok so the bill is dollars less? He said no "that's how we were able to keep the price down so far" so really he just argued in the beginning so they could steal more dollars from meSo j asked where my truck is and he said "oh the mechanic is just adjusting your alignment"! I was furiousAll they did was lie to meI go

Disreputable sales tactics
on 2/15/my wife brought her Honda Odyssey in to get a slow leak in the left rear tire replacedShe really knows nothing about the workings of carsShe was told that her tires were completely worn out and that she needed an alignment as well
months and less than 2,miles prior, her vehicle was at Wilde Sun Honda for routine maintenanceWhen this is done, a complete safety inspection is always doneTires had 6/front tread and 7/rearReplacement level is 2/They saw here coming and took ruthless advantage

This business is a racket, their techs are either incapable of diagnosing or performing repairs or they are just thiefsI took my car there when It would not startfirst it was a fuse, then it was the starterI agreed to have the starter repaired since I was assured this was the issueWell then the car still did not start...I recevied a phone call from Bob the manager of the Cleveland ave location and was told that my ECM was bad in my car, and the repair would be another on top of the for the starterAt that point I had no choice but to get a second opininon since I had never had any mechanical issues with this carI had to pay my bill with them and pay to have my car towed to another shop where within hours they knew it was a bad chip in my keywith the new key the car started with no problemexcept the starter was making a horrible noise and had to once again be repaired, the new shop also tested the ECM which rick jhad claimed was no good

I was charged for a service that was not needed at the Rick Johnson Tire store in Bonita Springs (quoted $and charged $25)
I was quoted $20/tire for mounting and balancing when I dropped off my tires on Dec When I went to pick them up, I didn't have my glasses with me but noticed they charged an extra $5/tire for tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) calibration when I got home When I called the store, I told the manager this was not needed since my car automarically calibrates itself after the tires are re-installedThe manager told me that since some cars needed this service and some do not, the Rick Johnson policy was just to charge everybody for it On top of that, the work was done so poorly that I had to take them to another Rick Johnson shop to have the tires balanced correctly

I contacted their number to schedule an appointment for an oil change using their $coupon and was told that there were available openings at 3PM and 4PM at their Estero (STamiami Trail) I arrived at 2:15PM and was rudely informed that I would have to wait until 3PM by Brad the store manager I gave him my coupon and keys and waited in their waiting area I came back to the front desk about and was told there would be a delay I came back at 4PM and again was told there would be a delay Another couple came in and their oil change was done prior to mine Finally, after hours at their store, my car was finally brought in for an oil change At 5:I got the icing on the cake I was presented with an invoice for $ The explanation was that the coupon was no good based on the oil my car needed and I was also charged for an oil filter as their promotion did not accept my car Funny that other shops have no problem charging me the $plus the usual disposal and service fee but Rik Johnson does I was told that Erin at the Call Center was the one who should have informed me of this Neither she nor anyone at the store advised me of such and no work order was signed prior to the work being performed I was then told to contact Natalie who oversees the Call Center I left her a message and of course no reply I called again this morning and was told I would have an answer by end of business No surprise no call Also no way to contact MrJ I had brought my car to the Ft Myers location in the past and never encountered any problems and would have this time but there were no openings per Erin I want this resolved

Work done on car was not needed and they overcharged me
I have many emails back and forth that will explain the situation
Repairs were not needed they were just guessing and I had to pay all alongThey then gave me refund for one of the jobs trying to fix the problem but then charged me double for another repair that didn't need repair
I am very frustratedAll I get back from them is that RICK has read the complaint is not willing to do anythingEVEN THOUGH in the email they admitted the did the wrong repair

My daughter had oil change done by RJOil leak was discovered to be a result of loose oil filterDamage to fibrous shield under engine
On 03/13/my daughter, who is a student at FGCU, had a synthetic oil change done at the Rick Johnson location at STamiami Trail in Estero, FL ( Acct #XXXXXX / Invoice # XXXXX) A week later, on Tuesday, 03/20/I drove the vehicle to our home in Orlando to have a Ford recall item serviced at our local Ford dealership Due to a parts backorder, the vehicle sat at Ford for weeks without being driven or startedAfter getting the vehicle back from Ford, on 04/17/I noticed a large puddle of oil underneath the vehicle on my home driveway The puddle size was approximately 24"x12"
Taking the vehicle back to Greenway Ford here in Orlando, it was discovered that a loose oil filter allowed oil to leak when under pressure over the period of time since the oil change The miles driven over that period of time was only miles In

Fraudulent misrepresentation of repair issues on my vehicle
Sunday morning my truck started to failI didnt worryI was close to Rick Johnson Auto on *** Road in ***I trusted themI drove straight thereThey did not have someone available yet a nice man named Justin looked under the hood with meWhen I opened it he yelled in warning "Watch out! A Rat!"Little did I know that I was soon to discover another meaning for the word RAT
Monday Nick called me and delivered the sad news that my truck needed a laundry list of fuel injector related repairs totaling $2200-some dollars"I trusted him and said "While you are at it please check my power steering"The estimate now rose to $
I biked over to discuss it in personDuring said discussion they very quickly were willing to dump the power steering repair based on my explanation of how often I added power steering fluidNow I was dealing with the original $I told them to go ahead but it just felt wrongWh

We paid an invoice of $from *** ***They had made an error in a coupon and went back and recharged us their coupon error of $
Car was dropped off on 1/21/to be checked for battery, oil change, and loud noisesBusiness called us back with a quote for the work- approximately $1,We agreed to move forwardWhen we went to pick up the car on 1/22/17, we pointed out that the bill was lower than what was quotedThe young man working said when *** the store front office man did the invoice must have made a mistake with the bill but no big deal, and had us pay the invoice price of $Invoice number for this was XXXXX
Tuesday morning on 1/the car was still making loud noises and the oil light came onSo, we dropped the car off again and told them to check both issuesThey had not turned off the oil light, and said that the loud noise was not actually fixed and needed more work
This did not sit well with us since when we got the original quote we asked t

ON 09/01/I AND MY MOM WENT TO GET OIL CHANGES AT RICK JOHNSON AUTO & TIRE AT ON S.TAMIAMI TRAIL FT MYERS , FL OIL CHANGE WAS OPEN
I PAYED $AND LUBE TECH GUY FOR GET TO RE -PLACE ENGINE OIL CAP BACK TO MY CAR AND OIL SPILL INSIDE TOP OF THE ENGINE OIL CAP

Went in with a front right tire problem, and tire was not even looked at
Went in on February 10th 2017, and spoke with Christian because my FRONT RIGHT tire was leaking substantially, and needed to be fixedChristian called hours later and told me there was a bulge in the tire, and it needed to be replacedDropped it off on the 11th to be fixed, picked it up that night and had to immediately fill it with air because it was already flat- weird so I went and did soWoke up the next morning to a fully flat tire, brought it in, sat around for hours only to be told Christian put in the system FRONT LEFT tire, which I had problems withThey put a tire on my front left, instead of my front rightNow I had to shell out even more money for the FRONT RIGHT (The original tire I inquired about) tires rim to be fixedIf they did the proper thing I asked, and checked the FRONT RIGHT initially and this was the issue, big dealBut instead, I was charged for a FRONT LEFT tire that I did n

Scam artists! Customer bewareI went into Rick Johnson Auto & Tire to have a routine oil changeI had a coupon for $and the first red flag should have been that they could not do it for this price since my vehicle is a Honda and it requires 5W They told me it would be $23.xx, I agreedThen the person says they can do it right then and about minutes later comes to get me and takes me out to the garage where my van was and tells me I have been driving on no oil and my vehicle is making funny soundsI said I don't believe you, I have my oil changed every months and I check it regularly, also, the oil light has NEVER come on!! He said that he could not do the oil change and unless I agreed to a diagnosis and repair of what was wrong he could not under any circumstances do anythingUGH!! I told him he was ripping me off and he said I can take my car if I wantSo, I had to drive my vehicle about mile to the nearest gas station and buy quarts of oil to put in my vanI could not open the hood anymore, so I had a friend come and help meSomehow my hood was latched in a way that I am still unable to unlatch it without some help and a lot of jigglingIt's been about weeks now and I have been checking the oil regularly with help on the current hood issueNo oil lossYet, since that day, my vehicle make a very bad sound every time I start itUghIt's sound like my engine is about to goI am a single mom on a low income and these people destroyed my vanI don't know when the engine will go, but I do not have the funds to replace itI wanted to call and say something but I knew they would do nothing and even if they diagnosed it they would not take blame for what happenedI would not trust them anyway to diagnose or fix it for free! I have to worry now daily how long will my car last? What am I going to do?? I am posting this review everywhere I can and reporting this company to the Revdex.comI am not just an angry customer with one bad experience, this was so corrupt and so wrong it is my duty to warn others

had a8:00 a.m oil change appt. at 9:30 I went looking for Mr. Pavel B. to find out what was taking so long . he wasn'tat the desk so I walked around to the service area he pointed huis finger at me and said shall we start over objecting to my questioning him about the delay then chastised me for walking two feet in the service area. of course he lied telling me they had an emergency. they are neither fair or HONEST

recently my girlfriend had her oil changed and tires rotated at Rick Johnson on Corkscrew Rd. Estero, FL. When we picked up the car I noticed a grinding and knocking noise. I immediately took the car to Ford, they mechanics listened to the noise as they test drove the vehicle. The informed us that it sounded like the CV axle on the driver side. The approximate cost they quoted us was $590.00. My girlfriend called Rick Johnson in Estero and was told they would replace the CV axle for $415.00. She took the vehicle to Rick Johnson and said she was told the left side CV axle may need to be replaced. She trusted them, she was told the mechanic had 35 years experience. The next day the car was ready we arrived to pay and pick up the vehicle, we entered the vehicle backed out of the parking space put the car in drive and immediately heard the same noise as before. I went back into the store and told the mechanic the care was not repaired. He said he repaired it and he test drove the car and it was fine. He could not have driven the car because the noise started immediately, I told him that HE WAS LYING TO US and couldn't have driven the vehicle, he went immediately into the garage, (where customers are not allowed). The manager then drove the vehicle, he came into the store and said the noise was there but now the problem was the right CV axle! Once again because of the situation we were in we asked them to replace the right side CV axle. They replaced the right side CV axle and called us to tell us that did not solve the problem and the store manager then told us to pick up the vehicle it needed work on the transmission. I asked them if the right side CV axle needed to be replaced and was told it did not. I told them to put the original right and left CV axles back on the vehicle. They told us that the original left side CV axle was not in the shop. They replaced the original right side CV axle and told us to pick up the vehicle.
When we returned the vehicle to Ford we were told that the right CV axle was not installed correctly, it was not secured with a C clamp therefore, the right side CV axle was lose and caused damage to the transmission. Ford has written a report of the damages and given their opinion regarding the damage caused by Rick Johnson.
I called Rick Johnson and spoke to Autumn she told me to immediately fax a copy of the Rick Johnson bill and the report from Ford, because Mr. J[redacted] was in the office. I did as I was instructed. I called back to speak with Autumn and was sent to voice mail. I left a message, which I had to do 4 more times over 2 days, and never received a call from Autumn! On the third day I called and Autumn told me that things were busy at the office and she was planning to call me. She told me that Mr. J[redacted] looked at the information and decided that his company caused no damage and in no way was at fault.
WE ARE POSTING THIS TO EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE WE CAN AND WILL TAKE OTHER MEASURES TO LET EVERYONE BECOME AWARE OF THEIR INABLITIY TO PERFORM HONEST SERVICE AND THEIR REFUSSAL TO ASSIT US WITH A REFUND FOR THE SHODDY SERVICES AND BEING LIED TO!!!
WE ARE FILING A LAWSUITE IN SMALLCLAIMS COURT AGAINST THESE LYING CHEATING INCAPABLE PERSONS!! I'll also let everyone know the outcome of the law suite.
