In regards to the claim made against Rick's Plumbing Service;Rick's Plumbing went out and re-installed Mr& Mrs [redacted] 's existing model dishwasher after they had new tile installedRick's Plumbing also replaced the old angle stop and supply line at this time, which is why the estimate had went up If this was a new dishwasher that RPS had supplied, we could warranty these claims, but this is a old dishwasher that after speaking with Mr [redacted] , had previously had leaking door issues After receiving this complaint, we have reached out to Mr [redacted] and have agreed to install a new dishwasher (provided by customer), at no cost to the customer We hope this will resolve the matter Thanks [redacted] ***

[redacted] from [redacted] I've been using Rick's for years, being introduced through a friend who used him in the barter system I am not a barter account The repair service has been very good, prices have been fair, they are prompt to come over, they don't over diagnose or find worse-case to repair unneeded projects, and if the issue persists they have come back and re-examined it at no charge I am comfortable using them

Mike did an excellent job replacing defective parts in our bathroomsHe explained the problem in a professional manner and we were able to make a decision without any sales pressureMike has a great personality and I would recommend him to friends and family

Our experience with Rick's Plumbing Service has simply been excellent On two separate occasions service personal arrived promptly as scheduled, took time to fully assess the problem and presented cost effective alternatives The quality of service was excellent with neat & clean pipe joinery work, that solved our problem/s Cost for service was very reasonable We would not hesitate to use Rick's Plumbing Service in the future

To whom it may concern: In response to Mrs***’s claims here are the facts. Mrs*** had called Rick’s complaining of a stopped up sewer line, upon investigation, we determined with our sewer camera that there was a PVC sanitary sewer pipe that was dis-located and severely back
falling due to what looked like major foundation shifting. Mrs*** was given the option to either jack hammer to repair the leak or to tunnel to repair the leak, Mrs*** chose the tunnel. Rick’s Plumbing Service, nor any other plumbing company can take responsibility for past, present or future foundations problems. The entire purpose of her calling us was due to her foundation problems, a plumbing line had broken and caused some plumbing to be back falling in that area. During the process, Mrs***’s foundation Company asked our technician *** how we would be back filling the tunnel, and we responded: “by hand”. Mrs*** and the foundation company were aware of this before any back filling took placeIf this was a problem, why was this not brought up to the owners or upper management at Rick’s Plumbing at the time the tunnel was being dug and the question was asked? At this point we could have halted work and got with the insurance if there was any special back filling directions Mrs*** also claims that she had zero issues before we came out, however the whole purpose we were there was due to her foundation having moved, snapping and misplacing underground sewer lines. As for the front door that claims had no issues, during our meeting, Mrs***’s son interrupted our conversation to make it a point that the front door has always had issues shutting, and then the two began to argue about it during our meeting. Keep in mind this tunnel was only inches wide by inches tall and while inside the tunnel we never ran across any grade beams, except outside footer and the foundation is setting up on a foot inclineNo piers, no beams, nothing was seen in the tunnel done by Rick’s Plumbing. Facts show they have had foundation issues due to the poor installation of their original slab etcwe do not know, we are not a foundation professional, and we are the easiest to put the blame onWhich is not right, seeing as we gave Mrs*** options before ever starting. As far as the shower goes, I never agreed to a poor installation on the shower unit. We are licensed plumbers and install showers every day. The door was not leaking, I actually have video footage of it running, and no leaks are present. However, I did offer to take responsibility for the small hole in the shower where the trim was moved, due to my plumber installing the shower door. (Rick’s Plumbing does not install shower doors, we sub this out to a glass company.) So I made a very reasonable offer which was to have a professional glass door company come out and replace the entire glass door unit which would have covered the hole and would be water tight, leaving the newly installed shower unit in which was installed properly OR I would remove her existing glass door, which was original to the house and put in another brand new shower unit and let them take care of the glass door like the job was originally bid for. I have informed m plumbers to never under any circumstances to install old or new shower doors, this is to be left to the shower door professionalsHowever, since *** did install the shower door, I felt it was my responsibility to make it right to the customer to give them a shower door they would be happy with, where no visible holes would be seen. This was agreed upon by Mr& Mrs*** during the meeting that they would discuss which route to take over the weekend. That following Tuesday, days later Mrs*** text my cell phone stating she wants both done, the shower door replaced as well as the newly installed shower replaced. This was not an option that was agreed uponHad this have been an option, what would have been the reasoning for the discussion to take place over the weekend? Ultimately, we have tried, and want to make thing right with Mrs***. We have not been rude and ignored any of her concerns and have been professional through the entire process, hence the reasons he called us back weeks after the tunnel work was done to have the shower installed. We are willing to make things right on the shower and our offer stands as it has from day one, since she expressed her concerns. However, her bad foundation was there before we ever showed up, and will be there long after. She needs to seek a foundation company to repair what is wrong with her slab, and not blame Rick’s Plumbing, the people who were called to help her, and did so Respectfully Submitted, *** *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:Ricks Plumbingcomplaint *** - 09/14/2016 Ricks Plumbing will not accept responsibility for the wire being disconnected on my water meter The wire had to be disconnected when the Ricks plumber removed the meter lid to shut off the water to make a repair at the house. A reasonable licensed plumber would have known what to do with a loose wire in the meter box and contacted the City Water Department and that would have been the end of the problem But, ricks Plumbing chose not to accept responsibility for a disconnected wire That would have been part of doing business It is not really a money issue, but an integrity issue and poor accounting of paid invoices for Maintenance Agreements. *** *** *** The reply from Ricks Plumbing to the Revdex.com has several errors that need to beaddressed.After calls to Ricks Plumbing and was told the plumber, TJ would call me on June 20, After severaldays, TJ called me and said he did not cause the problem and would have his boss, Rick the owner callmeI did receive a call a call from Rick's wifeShe did not think Ricks was responsible for the wire beingdisconnected on the meter and to send her a copy of the water bill with charges for tampering and shewould check it outShe did not mention anything about a websiteI have had a maintenanceagreement with Ricks service since May 27, to May 27, Copies of invoices and checks #3927,and #on Grandview Bank are enclosed.Only one service agreement was a free (courtesy agreement) 04/19/which was noted on the invoice.The Courtesy Agreement was given due to changes on an estimate which was not needed 04/06/15.Only two washers were needed cents eachThere were not two Free agreements given as statedon Rick's reply to the Revdex.com.The Water Department did not say the meter was damagedIt was just the wire to the meter wasdisconnected as shown in the photo furnished when charges were pointed out when the water bill wasbeing paidThe wire was probably disconnected when the meter lid was removed to make repairs atthe house and the plumber should have known what to do with the wireThe Water Department clerksaid a licensed plumber should have known what to do.Rick's Plumbing should take responsibility for what their plumber did and stand up for their claim ofintegrity and honesty.On the photo furnished by the Water Department, it is very clear to see the wire was disconnectedThat sent a signal to the water department that tampering had been doneThe only one to remove thelid was the plumber from Rick's Plumbing Regards,

We never promised a refund of $200.00. During my conversation with Mrs***, I told her we could refund her $175.00, which would have made the repair $200.00. This refund was done via check #*** and was mailed out on Jan 26th, 2018.Thank you

I checked my husband's bank account this morning and Rick's Plumbing has not credited back the $as promised

Revdex.com, I AM NOT SURE WHY MR*** IS SAYING HE HAS NOT SPOKEN WITH ANYONE FROM OUR COMPANY, BECAUSE I HAVE SPOKEN WITH HIM FIRST HAND IN REGARDS TO HIS WATER BILLWHEN I FIRST HEARD FROM MR*** WHICH WAS NO EARLIER THAN JULY 2016, I TOLD HIM WE WERE INDEED A LICENSED PLUMBING COMPANY WITH
RESPONSIBLE MASTER NUMBER OF 19971, HE INSISTED WE WERE NOT BECAUSE SOMEONE AT HIS WATER COMPANY TOLD HIM WE WERE NOT LICENSED, I THEN GAVE HIM INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW HE COULD GO TO THE STATE WEBSITE AND SEE THAT RICK'S PLUMBING IS 100% LICENSED AND INSUREDWE LOOKED AT THE PICTURE AND DID NOT SEE ANY WIRE OR METER OF WHAT HE IS SPEAKING OF TO BE DAMAGED AND TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO TAKE THIS UP WITH HIS WATER COMPANY AND WE WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP IN ANY WAY WE COULDOUR TECH WHO IS LICENSED BY THE STATE DID NOT DAMAGE THIS METER OR WIRE IN ANY WAY MR*** HAS PURCHASED MAINTENANCE CONTRACTSTHE OTHER WERE GIVEN TO HIM AT NO CHARGE COMPLIMENTARY OF RICK'S PLUMBING SERVICEWE GREATLY APPRECIATE HIS BUSINESS AND ARE NOT HAPPY THAT HIS WATER COMPANY IS TRYING TO CHARGE HIM FOR SOMETHING THEY ARE STATING WE DID, BUT WE ALSO INFORMED HIM HE NEEDED TO LET THEM KNOW HE DID IN FACT HAVE A LICENSED PLUMBING COMPANY OUT, WHO DID NOT DAMAGE HIS WATER METER AND THESE CHARGES NEEDED TO BE REMOVED FROM HIS BILLT*** YOUKRISTIN S***
