Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved I do, however, offer the following comments/questions(1) Why couldn't the dealership over the course of months communicate to me that the problem with the warranty was on the Warranty company's end?; (2) Why did I never receive a copy of the warranty in the mail? The only thing I ever got from the warranty company was a letter months after I bought the car that the warranty was not processedI've purchased an extended warranty in the past twice...and both times I received paperwork explaining the warrantyIf my warranty was "always in tact," why did I never receive any paperwork? (3) I appreciate that the cancellation fee was waivedThis warranty was never explained to me and I never received any paperwork as per #aboveThus, I was never even aware of such a fee(4) You are correct about the interestI apologize for that oversight on my part(5) While I am pleased with the resolution, I will not do business with the Riverhead Auto Mall againI recently got a safety recall in the mail for the carI will be taking it to another Nissan dealership to resolve the issue Sincerely, [redacted]

warranty was always in tact That being said, we are refunding you the entire $2,for your warrantyThe check (a copy is attached) is being overnighted to your finance company tomorrow morningThe interest will come right off of the principal of your loan with *** ***Normally when a customer purchases a warranty and then cancels there is a cancellation fee involvedDue to your inconvenience, I have had that fee waived. [redacted],  I am sorry that this is your recollection of the events that took place. When you came in you informed us that you were a tier one credit score and in fact, Hyundai gave us a different approval level. So, yes, that was one factor that effected your payment and deposit amount....

We worked extremely hard getting you an approval. The only option that your vehicle is missing is the Smart Cruise Control, which is a $2,000 package and you opted not to take it. Together, you and your saleswoman picked out and priced several different vehicles with different packages and this is the one that suited your wants and needs best. In finance when we were reviewing your contracts with you we did discuss the mileage. It would have been a $25.00 increase in payments for the 15,000 miles a year, and you choose to stay with the lower payment. In addition, when you return a lease it is our obligation to Hyundai to report that vehicle as returned. this is actually for your protection. Thank you for responding but the part about the 2013 Nissan is not true. It was a 2009 black Nissan Centra. It was in a car accident and totaled, it was protected by G.A.P and purchased credit life and disability insurance and the Nissan people did not honor that. I was entitled to a Nissan refund and did not receive it. They told the Nissan Motor Corporation that I brought in a totaled wrecked car which is not true and had me paying on the 2009 and 2014 Nissan Versa in one payment. I am 81 years old I've been dealing with Nissan for over 8 years, I came in Sept. ** traded in the 2014 Nissan Versa for a 2014 Nissan Murano the I picked out, they gave me the one THEY picked out. And when I got it home the next day Sept. **, I realized that there was rust stains and rusted pipes underneath the car, I called the Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation to let them know I do not want this car. I've been complaining since Sept. **, when the registration came Oct. ** I called the Nissan people the same day and I talked to the sales person [redacted] and he said to me "I don't think I can get you out of the contract but you can come back and try", they are giving me the run-around and I just want to get the car I want that I like not what they want or they like and if they can't do that then I will go somewhere else. I just don't want to leave on a sour note.

[I left highly unsatisfied. The experience only got worse the longer I was there. The business states that we "agreed to unwind" the deal. The method that the business chose to do this was unprofessional, underhanded, immature and dramatic. The business tricked me into handing over the car keys by saying "here let me make a spare for you". Then proceeded to tell me "haha now youre never getting your car back!!" They then took my car and moved it, took the plates off and scratched off the registration. When I asked them how am I going to get back to work they replied "thats not my problem!" I had to call a police man to mediate the situation. It was quite the scene.In reply to your suggestion that I HAD to purchase the warranty, I spoke with the lending bank on numerous occasions and they informed me that in no way shape or form was I required to purchase a warranty. All they care about is my credit score and my income.I also checked with Intellpayments as far as the business's claim that it was a REQUIREMENT that I choose biweekly automatic deductions from my checking acct in order to purchase the car. Intel informed me that in no way shape or form is that a requirement either.It seems to me the business will use any tactic or manipulation to acquire their commissions.Lastly, I requested documentation from the business that my loan has been CANCELLED and what I got instead what a document asking me to sign a waiver releasing them from responsibility. Asking me never to sue or defame them. Asking me never to make a complaint to agencies such as Revdex.com. To date, I have never received documentation that my loan was cancelled. For all I know riverhead automall may have received their monies and Im left with a loan and no car!]
