We had an investment property that we wanted to sell in December 2013. We had done some work on the property, getting it ready for sale, when we contacted Byron M[redacted] from Rockpoint. We were planning to replace the carpets throughout before listing but Byron suggested having them professionally cleaned and recommended someone. We followed his advice and the carpets came out much better than we had expected. We listed at the price Byron recommended, considerably higher than what we had projected. He sold it on the first showing and saved us money with Rockpoint's commission structure.
Byron was a pleasure to work with... Very knowledgable, professional and honest. Just as important though is his relaxed, easy going nature, which took a lot of the stress out of a situation we don't normally deal with.
All we can say is that this company is fantastic!! We were listed with another company and were not happy with that persons service. Our friends recommended Darlene!! She went above and beyond to help us!! First of all our contract of 3 months had expired 2 days prior to her coming out. We had expressed our concerns regarding the situation. Her husband is also a lawyer. He came with. While we were going through the new paperwork with Darlene, he reviewed the previous contract. He made sure everything was a done deal with the old realtor. They are awesome!!! We had 1 offer but the people were becoming an issue for us. So we turned down that offer which wasn't far off of our asking price. Then 3 weeks later we sold our house!!! Darlene was on holidays. Byron was helping us. He is great!! He had never met us and was guiding us along in the quick sale like he knew us. He asked what we wanted and we got that price thanks to his knowledge on negotiating. Several times Darlene took the stress off by dealing with things that weren't necessary for us to deal with. We moved out of town a week prior to the posession date. She went out there 3 times and it was outside Edmonton!! Then we started to look for a house in our new city. She informed us about the realtor referral where she would get a portion but then she would mail a cheque in that amount to us!! Who does that now a days!!! Amazing!! Didn't have to do that at all!!! Overall an experience we will never forget!!! The rates are great!! Service is unbelievable!! Amazing people all around!! Thank so much for everything you've done for us Darlene, Steve and Byron!!
