Rockaway Nissan Reviews (28)

[redacted]:  I stand by our offer and, in sum and substance, disagree with your assertions regarding my client and myself. Your steadfast refusal to retrieve your car is an admission against interest and, quite frankly, your responsibility entirely. If you'd like our help, please let me know. Otherwise, I would recommend that you get your vehicle from the other Nissan dealership and use it for the purposes you bought it for. We stand by our product and our staff and look forward to resolving this problem, reasonably. Regards, Eric K[redacted]###-###-####

Mr[redacted]:I have been alerted to your complaint. Please feel free to forward me a request to remove the inquiry, and we can prepare the documentation necessary to send them to credit reporting agencies. All that is necessary is the request to remove, date of inquiry and specific company that...

appears on your credit report. -[redacted]  ###-###-#### [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Rockaway Nissan’s response remains entirely unsatisfactory. As Rockaway Nissan’s Finance Manager, Mr. Al I[redacted], disclosed and Rockaway Nissan’s General Manager, Mr. Ramzey R[redacted], condoned, Rockaway Nissan intentionally falsified my rental contribution for the purpose of fraudulently securing the loan from NMAC. The rental amount was changed from $815 (the amount I verbally provided to the salesman, Carl Hall) to $400 (fraudulent amount) for the purposes of deceiving NMAC. While in Mr. I[redacted]’s office on 4/**/17 at my request Mr. I[redacted] changed the falsified amount to the correct amount of $815, which I then initialed. However, Mr. I[redacted] did not provide me with a copy of the amended document as I requested on 4/**/17; instead Mr. I[redacted] submitted the falsified financial information to NMAC against my will. PLEASE NOTE: On 6/*/17 NMAC provided me with a copy of the credit application Rockaway Nissan submitted, the contents of which prove that Rockaway Nissan deceived me and NMAC by submitting fraudulent financial information to NMAC against my will (not the correct information I actually asked them to provide). Despite the fact that on the day of purchase (4/**/17) I asked Mr. I[redacted] for a copy of all documents I signed, he failed to provide me with a copy of the document I signed where my actual rental contribution was both amended and initialed by hand. By law I am entitled to a copy of any document that I signed. By Friday, June [redacted], 2017 please provide me with a copy of the document with the correct rental contribution I signed, which Mr. I[redacted] omitted from my copy of the contracts. A scanned electronic copy and hard copy can be sent to me at the email address and mailing address I provided to Rockaway Nissan on the day of purchase.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Please be advised that we have already volunteered to reimburse [redacted] reasonable expenses for her inconvenience. We appreciate her frustration with her pre-owned vehicle, but the demands being made are simply not accurate (in terms of Lemon Law claims) and a bit beyond reasonable. We stand by...

our prior communication below:  We at Rockaway Nissan appreciate your patronage and would certainly consider assisting in some way to diminish the direct costs you have incurred. That being said, we simply disagree with your assessment of the situation. The vehicle was ready within a few days of the unfortunate incident. Your insistence on having other matters addressed (tire balancing), which have nothing to do with the mechanical problem claimed, as well as a written statement (you provided) that the vehicle was ready on May [redacted] prevent this from being a 15 day issue. At this time, we would consider reasonable assistance, but, unfortunately, we must state unequivocally that your demand for return of the vehicle is unfounded. I do look forward to coming to some alternative resolution that works for both parties.   Yours truly,   Eric K[redacted] Compliance ###-###-####

I had already signed my trade title and Laura was explaining extended warranty when I asked about the 7-year/100,000- mile powertrain warranty Laura (finance person) stated that was the certified warranty and this vehicle was not certified which was a shock since I had the print out of the [redacted] ad that was very specific in stating that this vehicle had been Nissan Certified. She got sales manager Simon who told me the vehicle was certified eligible NOT certified and it would another $400.00 to get it certified. I did get the certification at no charge but I feel only because I had the print out that stated it in print.
the vehicle was certified.
The entire experience with this dealership was a nightmare

Review: The sales agent put through a hard credit check without my consent. We made up that only if we agreed on a price would he be authorized to put thru a credit check and no price agreement was reached.Desired Settlement: I want them to back out the credit check.

I was about to close a deal with this ability and after charging my credit card. $1000 as a down payment, a flood manager named Simon contradicted himself and claimed that the price did not include other fees!!!

Very shady! I walked out and they called me multiple times since then
