As a warning to ANYONE thinking of doing business with this company, DON'TThey are a total scam They Will NOT pay claims and they LIE TO YOUR FACE to sell them to youThey do not answer your calls or return e-mails when you try to contact themAflac could care less that you were counting on their policy to pull you through difficult times All they want is Your Money! There are other companies that offer the same services that are less well known but actually do what they say they will do TIME TO KILL THAT DUCK AND PUT HIM IN THE STEW POT

On 4/25/2016, miss Cora Journey went to my office (Doka USA, Pompano Beach) selling some kind of insurance, and even when we agree that I would get involved in the so mentioned insurance ONLY and ONLY if I call her after giving it a thought to confirmShe decided to get me involved even thought the above mentioned call never happened
You're incredibly fast to trick ppl into your insurance policies, and so slow to let pple out

I had a negative experience with Aflac, it is easy for them to charge every two week but very difficult to approve a claimI had an MRI done last month but Aflac refused to reimburse $stating something about per-existing conditions When I tried to cancel the policy I was told that I needed to wait for open enrollment by my employer Regardless of my case I think it is unfair for a company to have an A+ rank with Revdex.com with 95% consumer negative review Lowering the grade to A- will positively reflect that Revdex.com take into consideration consumer rating

Aflac, in my opinion, is the most ridiculous, poorly trained, uncommunicative insurance to deal with! My experience has been very poor customer service to include: hanging up on me, putting me on hold to "get a supervisor" and then disconnecting the phone call, sending a refund in the wrong name numerous times (because I was over charged!) and giving me the "run around" each time I called to have the check issued in my name! Was told by Alex McCallum that he would personally take care of the issue & when it wasn't handled I left multiple messages on his voice mail & sent him emails, both which he never replied

My claim for short term disability was approved about weeks ago however I have not gotten my check yet, in fact it has not even been sent to my correct address yetOn the website Aflac brags about next day payment being available but my payment has been delayed and delayed againFirst they took over a week just to decide on my claim, they recieved some misinformation and instead of asking me to clarify or telling me there was a problem, I was simply denied and had to scramble to get the corrected information to them which resulted in an additional week to get my claim approved and 3-days later for my check to be sent, but sent to the wrong address despite my having updated my address about a month prior and having given them the correct address on the newest formsWhen about another week went by I called to check on where my check was sent and had a representative keep telling me, "you didn't update your address" and blame me despite my telling him repeatedly that I hadHe stated it would take the check being out for days before they could do a stop payment and issue me another checkI called again the next day and got the check canceled and a request was made to have the check reissuedIt sounded like it was suppose to go out in the mail that day, however days later there was still no check so I called again and found out my check had not been reissued and would take several more days for the reissuing process to go through and than I would have to wait for it be be deliveredIt should not take a month to get a checkThey need to stop claiming they can do next day payment, clearly it's advertising

Aflac will let you drown in bills, they will make problems every step of the wayI have been post op weeks and still no claim paidThey are hard to work withDon't even try to use your representative, they will make it worseWhy have a representative when Aflacs customer service directly told me not to use mine to fax straight to themWorst experience I have ever dealt with and over the HolidaysSorry I had to have surgery to walk again Aflac

I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemyThey offer you this "insurance" and everything sounds so great until you actually attempt to utilize it, yes they are good at paying the small claims (25.00) in a timely manner but anything to do with real money they drag their feet and fight you on itI signed up with Aflac in June and my policy took effect 7/I went to the hospital about abdominal pains and the doctor recommended a diagnostic laparoscopy which is a surgery to basically see what is going on inside of you the surgery was scheduled 8/so I had the surgery took a week off of work as recommended by my doctor and when I returned to work the following week I submitted my claim, so after days they denied my claim and provided zero information as to why so I called the representative and he stated that they needed the operative report mind you they never requested it from me or anything they just flat out denied the claim, so I forwarded them the operating report and once they received that and seen that was fine then they tried to fight my claim another way stating that they needed to make sure that this was not a pre existing condition prior to me having Aflac ok, but the way they went about it was misleading now my coverage started 7/but the rep told me that the only charges they cover for the first days are hospital visits not surgeries or anything else ok now my surgery was not until 8/which is after daysThe reason I say they are misleading is because I received a copy of the form they sent to the hospital requesting the records for my file and it states, please provide any information relating to pelvic pain for the dates of 7/1-7/and if there were anything between them dates they can immediately dismiss my claim and if the doctors send something back stating they don't have anything for them dates then they dismiss the claim stating that they cannot complete their investigation its a lose lose situationI decided to do some reviews on them to see if this was a one time thing or if I was over reacting and no I read numerous complaints about this companies practices and how they use every loophole to disqualify people from paying out on claims so then I called the rep and told him to cancel my coverage as its no use to me since they fight everyone on any substantial claim over and he told me that was impossible that I am locked into this "insurance" until the next open enrollment and that was a year from the date which was NOT disclosed when the rep came with his sales pitch I am very dissatisfied this is a despicable company BEWARE

I have been paying into Aflac's supplemental insurance from September to current I have never missed or been late on a payment, nor have I given Aflac any other reason to deny any claim made against this policy I filed a claim on this policy in mid-April and as of today, July 28, 2016, I have not received any form of compensation I have been in contact with my Aflac representative multiple times over the course of the last months with no definitive answers as to when, or if, I will be receiving benefits on this claim To say I am disappointed with the service provided in my case is a gross understatement I have been forced to return to work while dealing with serious medical issues because Aflac has not handled my claim in a prompt manner However, they never missed a beat withholding their payments from my paycheck I do not want others to share in this experience, as it is certainly not a pleasant one No business should be allowed to treat its customers in this manner

I am outraged and disgusted at Aflac's "Duck Salon" commercial depicting an African American woman's natural hair as a bird's nestI will no longer conduct any business with Aflac and will urge any and all to do so as wellThe offensive nature of the commercial has showed me that Aflac is not only racially insensitive, but dirty in its business practices and advertising

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The release attached was given to the company in DecemberIn January the agent realized it was not signedI then signed and returned the completed releaseThis is what the company uses to obtain medical records for my claimsI verbally gave her all three dates, which the rep manually entered into the systemThe reply back from Aflac was that additional information was neededThe additional information is pending their action to obtain it from Southlake for the additional days of serviceThere are not doing their jobs and getting the information that I have already approved for releaseWhen I signed it and returned it to the agent, she was able to get 10/14/claim paidHowever, they are not working on the additional days, getting the provider's records, following up with the claim, or contacting the facility to see why records are not yet sentThey should have all this information in their system, if not the phone reps are not documenting the calls.
