My son was diagnosed with cancer on March 1st of As of May 23rd they still have not approved my claim My son had cancer years ago When I signed up for the insurance he was clean for six years They are dragging their feet The people who answer the phone are very nice but they don't make decisions You can't talk with those people Don't take insurance with these people

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Attached is the letter received from AflacIt does not address why they are denying a refund that their regional contact, *** ***, came onsite to my employer and promisedI do not understand why the 'period of time' is solely my responsibility, as I trusted that the amount I signed an agreement for was what Aflac was billing my employerI do not see the Aflac direct billing to my employer, and it is not my fault that my employer did not bring the discrepency to my appearance until recently when they have advised me of owing premiums that they (employer) paid to Aflac that was not deducted from my paycheck, as they were deducting the amount that was on the authorization form that I signedIt cannot be legal to charge someone a different amount than what their signature form agreed to pay, and I am not aware of a statute of limitations on such an issueWhether I became aware of it the first week or now - it was still an errorI do not have any claims on the policy, and I'm not requesting that Aflac continue to cover me at the lowered agreed upon rate I signed for - I'm simply requesting the entire policy - never used in the year period - be cancelled and the premiums paid refunded to me, as the error was not my faultAt what exact time limit would Aflac had issued a refund - I have never seen this policy in writingAnd I am unclear how a customer service representative (who wrote the letter I received denying my refund) has the authority to override a decision made by a regional representativeHas Aflac verified with *** *** whether or not she had advised a refund as a resolution to this billing problem to myself and our executive director, *** ***, during an onsite August 30?

AFLAC is a company that gives you the run around and their employees are dishonest!! I recently filed a claim that has caused me nothing but pure disgust. Their representatives come to your work sites and sell a very good image of the company only to find out they lie concerning information that is needed to process claims. An adjuster, female, went as far to lie and say what a correspondence didn't say with the information in her face!!!! It's amazing how the customer service representative that I spoke with before being transferred to her saw it and she didn't. I'm having to go as far as to hire an attorney just to get AFLAC to make a decision on the claim!!! The company is not honest and does not stand behind their policies!!

Aflac does not handle customer service issues well. Aflac does not issues claims approved in a timely matter. My claim was "sent' a week ago still no funds and company not willing to help find funds only told it was sent.

Aflac is a Scam!!
Our Aflac agent is [redacted] his cell number ###-###-#### this guy wrote & sold us the Aflac policy 7 years ago here at work. He is so quick to come out here to sign up a new employee and tries to sell us more add on policies, but when we have problems where is he?
When I made my first claim over 60 days ago and filled out all the paper work needed. I called [redacted] for to see why my claim is taking so long this guy gives me the 1-800 number so I can deal with it myself.
[redacted] has to be the worst insurance agent I’ve ever work with.

I too have had trouble receiving payment from Aflac. They have no problem collecting my premiums but they are very slow to pay. I first filed a claim for my husbands surgery and hospital stay on October 28th. I have yet to be paid. They keep requesting more information , finding fault with documentation already submitted and delaying and delaying. This is not my first difficult experience with them. Extremely poor customer service long wait times on hold. I will be looking another companies but suspect they are all about the same. Insurance companies are in business to make money not pay out and Aflac is one of the worst.

Exactly one month ago, my husband filed a claim for a hospital admission following an accident. Initially he faxed over the discharge summary, ambulance bill and subsequent doctor visit and did not hear anything for a week. Since that time, we've called every 2-3 days and have been given a different story each time. Once we were told that a check was being released for the ambulance but then they realized a copy of the police report was needed. This information was sent to them but then they asked for a copy of the hospital bill to show the days he was in the hospital....this information was originally provided in the discharge summary but he faced this information. Then there was a sudden discrepancy in his date of birth and he was asked to provide a copy of his license....suddenly we are not able to login to review his policy. On Wednesday he was told that a check was being direct deposited into our account excluding the amount for the hospital admission because they wanted an operative report. The lady that sold us the policy has not returned any calls or emails. While the customer service representatives have been nice we feel like we are getting the runaround from a company that has taken over $600 annually from us for over 3 years. Not happy with Aflac and want the duck to stop lying on tv about their one day claim review.

We had aflac many years ago and left because another insurance was offered at my husband work.....he is now at a job that it isnt offered so we decided to enroll again...WELL, I called the closest agent to us...Matt Johnson in Fullerton, CA....we was out of town with a sick relative...he as if he could return my call the following week when back in town..this was 3weeks ago and no word from him yet....we have down enrolled with another co and wont return Aflac.....not a very good way to do business or get returning business......
