We had aflac many years ago and left because another insurance was offered at my husband work.....he is now at a job that it isnt offered so we decided to enroll again...WELL, I called the closest agent to us...Matt Johnson in Fullerton, CA....we was out of town with a sick relative...he as if he could return my call the following week when back in town..this was 3weeks ago and no word from him yet....we have down enrolled with another co and wont return Aflac.....not a very good way to do business or get returning business

Aflac is a big lie Be sure to read all policies thoroughly because they take advantage of hard working Americans with the fine print and red tape you must met to be paid for short term disability Their auditor took + days to find a reason to deny my husband's claim They originally asked for any doctor's notes from the last months of and when they couldn't find a reason to deny the claim the auditor ask for doctor's notes for the entire year of They still couldn't find a reason to support pre-existing and they just forced us to continue wait, wait, and wait The auditor ecen claimed to never have received the documentation thay both myself and the physician's office provide Finally, when I called to check the status the auditor denied the claim because my husband went to a regular doctor's appointment for what they claim was the cause of the disability within the first days of coverage+ days to tell us this We could have made alternative plans if the auditor didn't string us along Aflac caused us to exhaust any money that we had and now we have no money to pay our minimal expenses to make it until my husband returns to work

My former employer offered Aflac as a benefitI decided to get the Short Term Disability policy with my agentAfter several inquires about my policies and when the payroll deductions would start, I was informed by my the knowingly unlicensed agent that his licenses were suspended by Aflac and he would have to get another agent to write my policiesSeveral weeks passed with no policy, no callsI called the DM who informed me that my policy needed to be resubmitted it was in a pending status due to one missing document and that it would start on June 1st Because there were not payroll deductions for the policy that was issued after the start date of June 1stThe policy was not issued

Aflac does not handle customer service issues wellAflac does not issues claims approved in a timely matterMy claim was "sent' a week ago still no funds and company not willing to help find funds only told it was sent

Exactly one month ago, my husband filed a claim for a hospital admission following an accidentInitially he faxed over the discharge summary, ambulance bill and subsequent doctor visit and did not hear anything for a weekSince that time, we've called every 2-days and have been given a different story each timeOnce we were told that a check was being released for the ambulance but then they realized a copy of the police report was neededThis information was sent to them but then they asked for a copy of the hospital bill to show the days he was in the hospital....this information was originally provided in the discharge summary but he faced this informationThen there was a sudden discrepancy in his date of birth and he was asked to provide a copy of his license....suddenly we are not able to login to review his policyOn Wednesday he was told that a check was being direct deposited into our account excluding the amount for the hospital admission because they wanted an operative reportThe lady that sold us the policy has not returned any calls or emailsWhile the customer service representatives have been nice we feel like we are getting the runaround from a company that has taken over $annually from us for over yearsNot happy with Aflac and want the duck to stop lying on tv about their one day claim review

Aflac is a Scam!! Our Aflac agent is [redacted] his cell number ###-###-#### this guy wrote & sold us the Aflac policy years ago here at workHe is so quick to come out here to sign up a new employee and tries to sell us more add on policies, but when we have problems where is he? When I made my first claim over days ago and filled out all the paper work neededI called [redacted] for to see why my claim is taking so long this guy gives me the 1-number so I can deal with it myself [redacted] has to be the worst insurance agent I’ve ever work with

I filed an accident claim for my spouse on May 30, On Nov 2, 2015, over months later, AFLAC denied my claimThey used several different stall tactics before making a decisionI would have cancelled my policy (s) months ago and saved almost $600, had I known that my claim would be denied My wife had an accident at home, but it was determined by AFLAC that she fell because she was ill, therefore it wasnt an accident
