I wouldn't recommend AFLAC to anyoneI started a Critical Illness policy for my wife and self, through a job I last worked at approximately years agoThe payments have always been withdrawn from my checking account the first week of every monthMy new job which I have only been an "employee" of for a year, after nearly a year of temp, cut out pretty much all overtime the start of March (I was averaging 50-hrs week), so I in turn had to cut out all "unnecessary" billsI called AFLAC the end of February to cancel my policy, payment still withdrawn from my checking acct Mar called and spoke to AFLAC numerous times, even being told that they would "expidite" in hours on occasions and call me back, never happened, after approx a month and calls later learned that a 3rd party (PAYLOGIX) was the entity withdrawing the $ from my account and they may take days to pay AFLAC, so if a payment was taken out first week of month, AFLAC wouldn't even see payment till first week of the next month....so here it is almost the end of April, payments (which I can't afford) have already been withdrawn after policy cancelled and most likely a 3rd will be withdrawn the first week of MayHow does a company like this remain in business, when they can't even communicate between associated companies, let alone customersmonths now issues still not resolved :0(

ON THE WEB SITE IT ALSO SAYS ACCIDENT POLICY HELPS PAY RENT,BILLS ETC .WRONG ON LONG TERM BUT WHT DOESN'T IT SAY THAT ? SUCH A RIP OFFPEOPLE ARE TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING FEED THERE KIDS AND THEN SCAM ARTIST LIKE AFLAC AND THE PEOPLE WHO SELL YOU WHATEVER THEY WANT JUST TO GET PAIDSHAME ON YOU AFLACSO VERY DISSAPOINTEDWE PAY YOU JUST TO MAKE A FOOL OUT IF USKARMA! HOW CAN THEY STILL BE IN BUSINESS THIS IS THE PROBLEM TODAY THEY GET AWAY WITH IT !!!!

I too have had trouble receiving payment from AflacThey have no problem collecting my premiums but they are very slow to payI first filed a claim for my husbands surgery and hospital stay on October 28thI have yet to be paidThey keep requesting more information , finding fault with documentation already submitted and delaying and delayingThis is not my first difficult experience with themExtremely poor customer service long wait times on holdI will be looking another companies but suspect they are all about the sameInsurance companies are in business to make money not pay out and Aflac is one of the worst

First they lie in their advertisingThey say claims will be processed in one dayWhen you submit a claim they tell you it will take seven business daysWhen you call on the eighth business day they tell you it will be fourteen business daysWant to take a guess on how many days they tell you it will be when you call on the fifteenth business day? When you finally receive something, it is only part of what you are to be paidThey don't tell you they are only giving you a partial paymentYou have to call them to get more paperwork to be filled out sent inThen you get to start with the lies again"It will be there in seven business days"Don't waste your time, find an honest company
