I am rejecting this response because: My son was sick  when Chad was going to come to my house.  Then when Chris and Ed came to my house my son was at work.  My son's wife, walked out to ask me a question, though nothing was said to her.  The time in which they were going to come out, my son had a horrible upper respiratory infection, thought it was the flu, so no one came.  There was a time when someone came to my house, I was home, my neighbor was outside, asked him what was going on and he said he was taking pictures.  No one contacted me that someone was coming to or be on my property.  Believe the event in which is in the response is not forthcoming.  One other thing, yesterday I was reviewing my person email and there was an email from Holly and it was addressed to [redacted] and [redacted].  My husband has passed away a few years ago and is in no way part of this construction, nor the communications, etc., coming from Roofing-Pro.  First this is very unprofessional to add a name to documents being sent, not alone my late husband, which Holly had no reason to include, not even sure where she same up with the information.  Knowing that someone is researching and not even thinking about my feelings, or my families feelings, just sending documents with dis-regard to the person on the receiving end.  Tried to respond to her email and it was returned, could not deliver.  More nails are falling out, and when I said I was ok with what they did, I was being harassed by Holly to sign the paper for financing with disregard to the work in which was being done.  She was at times called 3+ times a day.  I know they want to be paid, they also need to know, people are not going to pay for a job where they are not satisfied.  As I stated to Chris and Ed, I was concerned about nails continuing to fall out, the trim not tight, it is wavy, who knows when it comes apart how long it will take someone to fix it.

We were able to work out this issue with the customer and were able to come to a settlement.  This customer is now completely satisfied.

Although there is not an expressed warranty in the agreement with the [redacted]'s, we always provide a year labor warranty which has expired.  Nonetheless, we are willing to go and fix any problems they may be having.  We were turned away from their house on Monday February 6, 2017 when we...

went out to  look at the current leak.  We have always responded to the [redacted]'s concerns and are willing to do so now.  We have even gone so far as to re-seal their stone chimney that was leaking, which had nothing to do with their roof.  The [redacted]'s have a very unique home that by their own admittance has been a problem for them in many areas.  We always stand behind our work and want to opportunity to address the current issue, but right now are not allowed on the property.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/09/14) */
We were contracted to do a roof for [redacted] After the roof was complete, we agreed to in house finance some siding work for her as well. There is still an 1800 balance owed to Roofing-Pro. While roofing her house we noticed that a chimney...

on her house was in bad shape and at risk of leaking through the cracks in the brick. We asked [redacted]if she would like us to remove it as a favor to her, if not in use. [redacted]made a few phone calls and ultimately had her neighbor come over and look. She then gave us the ok to remove the chimney. We removed the chimney at no extra charge to her. At no time did we confirm to [redacted]that the chimney was not in use. A couple of months later [redacted]called and said the chimney actually vented the furnace and shouldn't have been removed, I told her that as a favor, we would get a chimney stack and re-vent it through the roof. She did not want us to make a break in the roof and wanted to get an HVAC person out to vent it a different way. When she finally got an HVAC person out they told here that her whole system was out of code and needed to be replaced. She then called us and told us it would be $6,000. I then told her we were still willing to re-vent her furnace through the roof, as the pipe is still just below the roof line and can be vented through roof again.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/09/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The statement is a complete and total lie about the chimney being damaged. At no point in time did they ever tell me it was damaged. They just wanted to remove it because it would have taken more time to finish the roof. I had two chimneys and the first one took almost a day to work on. Because it was a slow process to put all the materials around the chimney. I now realize that they did not want to do that for the second one. The only thing the supervisor said was that nothing was vented through the chimney and if we knocked it down it would make the roof more secure. The whole reason I had contacted roofing pro in the beginning was due to a leak. So when the supervisor said it would be more secure I was on board as long as the vent stack was not in use. As I stated before I could not get into the basement myself and a few weeks later someone else discovered that my furnace was being vented through the chimney. I never made any phone calls and as for the neighbor he was just watching them put the roof on. I listened to the roofers because I thought they were professionals and knew what they were doing. I feel they are now trying to place the blame on my neighbor and myself to avoid fixing the problem. During the time I found out about the vent stack I also received a bill for removing the chimney. I immediately called roofing pro and told them about the whole situation. The owner could not have been more sympathetic and told me he would completely take care of all cost. He then asked me to make an appointment for an estimate. It took a few weeks to get on a schedule due to no one was working on furnaces at the time only air conditioners. After I got an estimate the owner changed his mind about covering the cost when he found out it was going to be expensive. He never did anything out of the kindness of his heart. I hired them to do more work before I knew they had made this big mistake. There is a balance of 1600 and I am making payments each month as we agreed on. I am not sure why he mention that because I have not missed a payment. I have paid more each month then we agreed on to get this paid off. I still have the statement showing that I was billed for the chimney removal and I have the next one showing where they took it off after I spoke with the owner. I can provide the billing statement that anytime. The owner wants to reopen my roof and try to replace the brick that was knocked down. One of the many problems with this is that no one knows what damage the roofers did to the rest of the chimney stack. Because they did not saw it down they used a sledgehammer and most of the stack is behind the walls inside my house and they can not see it. Plus no one is willing to give me an estimate on rebuilding the chimney and going against code. The furnace companies will not do this due to the fact that codes have changed and they no longer vent that way. As I have stated before my insurance company will not cover me if I allow him to try and patch the stack up going against code and something happens. The owner does not care about building codes or my safety just the cost. The owner has never mentioned my chimney stack being damaged until I contacted the Revdex.com. We have had several conversations about this situation and this is the first time I've heard of it. I will never recommend his company to anyone due to the fact that they damaged my home and completely lied about it. My statement on what happened has never changed but the owner of roofing pro has. When he realized it was not going to be a quick fix he changed his mind and started lying.

We went out to the property and walked around and did a full inspection with our foreman and customer and customer's son.  The customer stated that she was fully satisfied and signed the Payment Authorization Form stating that the job was completed to the customer's satisfaction.  The...

customer still owes the company for bad wood that was replaced.

Have not received a response on the work which was done, what boards were replaced, why it took so long and why there are still nails falling out of the work which was done.  Still also wanting an explanation on how and why someone at this company thought they could look up information on my late husband, send him a certified letter.  He was never mentioned in the application, financing, or part of the repairs requested.  Know there are still nails in my drive, because I am still picking them up.  Have had three flat repaired, which I am thankful I could have them patched and not replaced.  Still have a scratched back tail light and paint on the back of my car from some of the underpinning of the roof coming down, since it sat for almost 4 plus months with no one coming to complete the job.

I was very pleased with my roof I will recommend roofing pro to other and clean-up was good also.

We were beyond delighted with the work that Roofing Pro did. The staff and crew were professional and courteous. They were also kind and respectful; they completed the work in a timely fashion. Our house looks gorgeous and completely transformed! We LOVE our new roof, windows and siding! Bravo!!!!

When visited by the sales person to receive a quote on new siding and to replace two windows on our home, on the main areas he focused on and stressed was how professional his crew would be during the installation. We had multiple issues with poor workmanship requiring several repeat visits to correct. One of the crew became verbally abusive and used foul language to describe me to the crew boss (within my hearing!). When I complained to the office, I made it very clear that this person was NOT to ever be on my property again. When yet another installation issue came up that needed to be re-done, this abusive worker showed up again. There was another confrontation. I do not recommend this company. Their workmanship is shoddy and their people skills are horrible.

Review: Window pro had workers that came 2 days late with key under door mat for two days. I had to leave work during the day to let them in. They stole items out of my garage. They cut my alarm system, put defaulty siding on the back of my house where nobody could see. They drilled holes in my shutters that were supposed to be hung back up from behind the shutters. Put siding on sideways where it didnt line up. Left trash and nails everywhere in yard. Took all the extra siding that I paid for with them instead of leaving it with me for future issues. The office worker was told not to call me at work and he continued to call multiple times. Never got a call from owner until 2 months later. Left work early multiple times to meet with everyone else to look at siding but owner. Owner finally came out to get paid and promised issues would be fixed. I paid owner over 1 month ago and still do not have the extra siding I paid for the first time.Desired Settlement: I have not added up all the lost wages, nail issues, or cost of siding.
