I called them in the morning of 1/11/15 because of a clogged kitchen sink. They said they would have someone out between 5pm-7pm. They called me at 3:46pm to say they would have to reschedule that they couldn't make it out today. After explaining I've waited all day and I could have called someone else the Dispatcher offered me the 1am-3am spot....I told them no thanks, but would like priority first appointment on 1/12/15. They told me they would request it and leve a note for am Dispatcher. On 1/12/15 I received a call from Rooter Hero/ [redacted] at 8:13am and was told [redacted] would be there in 30-60 minutes. 2 hours later I called to see where [redacted] was and the Dispatcher told Me [redacted] is not my scheduled plumber [redacted] is. I told her I was told [redacted] and she said no I'm looking at your service order and [redacted] will be there in 10-15 minutes. [redacted] did show up 20 minutes later but had called someone else. If you want the run-around, be lied to, and treated with a "we don't care attitude"Rooter Hero/[redacted] is the place to call.

On Sunday 6/7/2015 my toilets overflowed and I called rooter hero plumbing. The dispatcher took my info and someone called me back to say a tech. Would be here in 60-90 minutes. After 90 minutes [redacted] called and said he was running late and would be here in about 45 minutes. He arrived and could not unclog our toilets. He said he would be back Monday 6/8/2015. [redacted], technician and [redacted], supervisor came back with a camera. He did unclog our toilets but said we had major pipe problems and they could fix it for $5,000. We refused as we wanted another opinion. On Wednesday 6/10/2015 our toilets were clogged again. Called rooter hero and [redacted] said he could not return as the pipes needed to be fixed and our 30 day warranty was void. We said that is not acceptable. His supervisor told him to come back which he did and unclogged?? again. He said he would not return unless we repaired the pipes. Same day we had another plumber come out with camera. He immediately saw a huge clog and unclogged it. His camera showed the clog clear and NO problem with the pipes. Rooter Hero and the employees involved seemed to only care about ripping up our yard and fixing pipes for $5,000. They left us with toilets that did not function and could have created a health problem as waste was involved. They were very abrupt and rude. This is not the type of customer service I expected. I will never use them again, obviously, but I would not want others to fall prey to their scheme. They were flat out scamming us and that is inappropriate as well as unethical.

My technician was named Alex H. He did a fantastic job. No mess was left, and you could tell he really likes the occupation that he's in. Both Alex and the manager, Louie were very polite and professional. I would highly recommend them for plumbing. CC

This is not the first response I have received from Mr [redacted].  I have called and spoken to him about the work we did for him and have written letters to him as well.  I am convinced that he is not seeing things clearly for some reason, be it mental of physical cause.1....

 We do not have electronic signature devices at our company, everything is hand written on forms so he made that up. (see attached paperwork)2.  We have no [redacted] working here, he is the founder of the company and is 65 years old retired in CA.  Another made up statement.3.  We clearly explained to Mr [redacted] how the GE financing works and when he received what ever payment his Home owners Ins was paying that he could send it in to them to reduce the amount owed.     We tell every client who is filing a claim with they're Ins that they never pay the entire amount, only what their policy will cover, typically 50-90%.I am sorry that Mr [redacted] feels is not happy but we did everything we could to help him understand his situation.  I do not feel this is a valid complaint, just someone who is trying to get out of they're obligation.[redacted]

Rooter Hero came to our home to unplug a sink, they ended up doing $800 worth of pipe and charged our insurance Co. $14,000 to put it in saying they had 3 men on the job when they had one. A very predatory salesperson tried to give us reasons why all this happened, luckily our insurance Co. saw through this scam and made them settle for a lesser amount. Do not use this plumbing Co. for any reason .

July 2014 I contacted Rooter Hero believing this was "[redacted] Plumbing" a family run business my ex recommened HIGHLY (I wish I had gotten [redacted] however- Alan, (whom I later found out worked for Rooter Hero) was the plumber who showed up at my home to fix the flooding in my guest bathroom - He quickly diagnosed I had 2 issues -one was easily fixable; however, the second would take some time and was from outside the home - I informed him that I traveled a great deal for work and my time at home was limited - Alan, gave me the impression that he was a 'trustworthy' individual. When he went outside the home to diagnose the problem - I told him I had a "Service Warranty" policy on my home recommended by the City of Phoenix. He counseled me NOT to use it, that it was a scam and he was here and could take care of the problem - my home insurance would cover the costs -NO problem.
Since I felt confident that Alan was being honest with me and a 'trustworthy' person - and I NEEDED to have this plumbing problem fixed IMMEDIATELY(human waste was piling up on my front yard) - I took his advice. When my insurance adjuster came out to file a claim he asked if I was aware that my policy would not cover the costs -I assured him that Alan had told me it would.
This job to repair my outside plumbing cost me $5600. and 4 months to complete. During that time I found out my "Service Warranty" would have fixed the problem at NO COST TO ME had only I called them first. I have confronted Alan - called him out in front of his boss, and the City of Phoenix employees who came to make repairs. You see Alan attempted to blame the City of Phoenix for my broken pipes.
This is NOT right... people should not take advantage of others. I don't have money lying around to just hand out to people who want to take advantage of me. $5600.00 is a LOT OF MONEY!!!! Something should be done to make this right. Alan lied to me and because I trusted him...I had to pay HUGE!!!

They charged my Mom (age 75) $500 for a new garbage disposal! To make things worse they forgot to turn the water back on to the dishwasher and messed up the drain line to the point where it no longer will run. The dishwasher is only two years old. The guy came back out and turned on the water but said the dishwasher was broken and that he doesn't work on appliances. AND THEN HE LEFT!

Unbelievable. Stay clear of these guys unless you want crappy overpriced service and someone who likes to take advantage of seniors and break stuff.

We serviced [redacted] on May 12, 2014.  Invoice #[redacted].  I am not sure why it took him this many months to decide that he wanted his money back and to write a complaint. I am very sorry to here that his experience with our company was negative and that we where not able to fix...

the entire problem with his kitchen drain line.I will happily refund his money to him. Sincerely[redacted]
