Over worked staff !!!!!!!!!
My husband has been on call since August... No official days off because he is constantly being called back to the property. He over worked and exhausted. Never gets to eat dinner and is constantly being told oh we will hire you some help but nothing has happened yet. At this point it's cruelty to me . Nobody should get treated this way period! He is the ONLY maintenance employee on site and it's a huge complex. This is unexceptionable!

Failure to Refund Security Deposits and Lacks Responsiveness
I lived at Remington Ranch in San Antonio for over 9 years. Due to poor management with Roscoe, I timely submitted (more than 60 days' notice) my termination papers. Lease ended on 9/28, however, I had moved out and surrendered keys on 9/23. Texas statutes provides that the management company refund security deposits with final statement on or before the 30th day. I was sent a statement on 10/23 (received 5 days later) that I would receive $556.25. On 10/28 I requested status on the refund however, I did not receive a response until 11/1 that an alleged check for $540.25 was issued on 10/29 but did not have my name on it. As of 11/4 I still have not received my refund and was told that I should have only been paid $522.25 (again they charged me for pest control, trash and trash admin fees totaling $18 for the month of October when I had moved out on 9/23. I have left messages and emails but am not getting any response or proof that a check was mailed out to me at my address which they have.

Our community offers regular pest control services and treatments for our residents and general community The process for roach concerns is to have the specific unit and surrounding units inspected once it is reportedOnce the inspection is complete, the pest control company reports their findings and makes their recommendations based upon their findings Depending on the severity of the issue, preparation for the treatment is required from the resident We advise the resident of the preparation requirements via a "prep sheet" they must sign and return in order for the treatment to be scheduledWithout the signed prep sheet, the treatment will not be scheduled as the treatment may not be effective without the proper preparation In certain instances, a sanitation issue will hinder any treatment provided We want to address any pest control issue as quickly as possible

I have lived at Summer Grove Apartments for six years and its been fine but over the last year new management Ive been harassed by management and neighborsI pay my rent on timeAnd no problems untill nowI was a nanny and watched a boy with autisiam and he could get a little loud there was a complaint so I explained to the officeMy daughter and three kids visit and the kids are playing and someone complains so I call office to explainMy boyfriend is here maybe three times a week and works out of town and in the lease if anyone is here more than that they have to be put on leaseThere was someone working on a motorcycle in parking lot and just because my boyfriend has a bike that has been broke down for months they assume it was himThere was a complaint about that and we did not even know who this person was.The office has done everything they could to harass me and it isnt fair they wont reniew my lease and I will be homeless soonA manager came to my door this morning screaming at me because of stuff by my front doorI have a back problem and asked for help but no one would helpShe yelled at me for cig butts that were not mine and my dog because I was cooking and it got smoke inside so I opened door and put my dog on a short leashe she kept on yelling at meThen before she left she threw stuff up up against my door that was outsideI have been treated unfair and they are making me suffer and being rude to meEspecially this woman Sheila Ki [redacted]

Roscoe management has been in contact with [redacted] and agreed to a release of contractAgreement has been signed by lease holders and management as of 5/30/The funds are in process with our accounting department and will be sent within business days from 5/30/to the address on file

In reference to the complaint # ID [redacted] , the issue regarding the noise complaints has been addressed with onsite contractors working at the property during that time frame The contractors are allowed to work during the time frames of 9:am to 6:pm with approval from the onsite management In this situation, the contractors were communicated with when the noise concern was brought to our attention We are understating of our currents residents and have limited the time windows they can work on the propertyWith regards to the tenant noise and aggressive breeds, this is something we do not take lightly The Beverly is a pet friendly community that interviews all pets at move in to ensure there is no aggressiveness with any type of breed There are strict community policies enforced for all residents and pets residing at the property If there are noise complaints or concerns, management addresses those directly with the identified party when necessary The concerns are monitored and reevaluated if a second occurrence arises with the same party We are very understanding of the initial complaint and I can assure you the Team at the Beverly has addressed his concerns promptly The noise concerns and contractors working past business hours have been addressed at this time Please let me know if you have any other questions or need more detail regarding the above, please feel free to contact me [redacted] [redacted]

Zero starsAbsolutely horrific move in experienceI actually signed a lease here, moved out the second day because THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDSDo not trust the office workers, they will tell you and feed you info in order to get their commission checksLooking for an updated unit like I was? You won't get oneWhatever pictures you see on the official website are completely false, and their "updated units" have NO ceiling light/fan figures in ANY ROOM! What a joke! Office workers claim that corporate office in [redacted] will not change the info on their current websitesAlso, bed bugs everywhere (spoke with several residences), disgusting landscaping and dog feces everywhere, and even more disgusting serviceMy "moready" apt included: broken porch door that doesn't lock, bathroom sink that wouldn't drain, paper toilet holder detached from wall, heavy stains on toilet and shower, NO BLACK AND WHITE BACKSPLASH THEY PROMISE, and broken fences in the porch, dirt literally EVERYWHEREDo not attempt to contact anyone at Roscoe Properties, as they use their apartment office workers as their little slaves to let us know "they cannot do anything"Biggest mistake in apartment finding I think I will ever have in my lifeI refused to leave the office until my lease was terminated and cancelled, and I will never refer a soul to this sloppy, unprofessional environmentRoscoe Properties Regional Manager Christina C [redacted] did not accommodate or call back as promised by her, and she would not speak to us personally when The [redacted] got a hold of herOffice worker at The Grove, Matt B [redacted] is not the right representative for this businessOverall, horrible reviews across the boardI will be contacting my legal team to move forward with fees that I believe I should be reimbursed with

Resident reported to management that he suspected that there was a raccoon in the attic of his apartmentManagement hired a pest control company to inspect the apartment and they confirmed there has been raccoon activity in the attic above the residents apartmentManagement put out
traps for the raccoon and caught the raccoon in the trap on May 4, The pest control company removed the animal from the premisesThe resident did not make any further complaints to management until May 19th, when the resident emailed the management that he can smell raccoons and they are still presentManagement visited the apartment and did not smell or hear anythingManagement put out traps again in the attic above the residents apartment the same day of the complaintNo further activity was citedThe resident emailed the Regional Manager asking to be released from the lease agreement, and the Regional Manager explained all of the information above, and stated that management had been responsive to the complaintsThe Regional Manager also explained to the resident the process of being released from the lease agreementThe resident came into the MESH office on Saturday, May 30th, with a letter that stated he vacated the apartment because management had not responded to any of his complaints about the raccoonsThis information is false, for management responded immediately to the concern of raccoon activity and believed to have solved the issue on May 4th. The resident was so hostile toward the staff that the staff asked him to leave the office because he was making them uncomfortable. The resident turned in his apartment keys on May 30th along with the letterThe Regional Manager attempted to call and email the resident with no responseThe resident did not give notice to management that he would be vacating the apartment earlier than the end of his lease termAfter failed attempts to get ahold of the resident, management moved him out of the rental system, charged him a reletting fee to the value of 85% of one months rent per the TAA lease agreement, and sent his account to collections.The management believes that they have been responsive to the complaint(s) of the residentThe resident did not communicate to management that the issues were ongoing after the raccoon was trapped and removed on May 4th, so the failure for the resident to communicate the concerns is not managements responsibilityManagement did not charge the day notice (days of rent due per the resident skipping the lease with no notice) or the accelerated rent for the remainder of the contractManagement now has to absorb the lost rent of the apartment because the resident failed to comply with the terms of the lease agreement

Management was notified of roach issue in May Management completed a roach cleanout by a third party vendor, and all follow-ups were completed to the treatment (three total follow ups)Resident complained again June 29th and a second roach clean out was scheduled for 7/22/16, the
next date available for the treatment to be completed by the vendor The City of Austin Health Department was also contacted by this resident and they visited the management on 7/18/16. The Health Department representative walked the apartment and there was no roach activityManagement provided him with a copy of the invoice from the treatment that was already performed, and a PO# for the treatment that was scheduled for 7/22/16, along with copies of all the resident work ordersThe Health Department representative said we are doing everything we need to do in order to take care of the issue and did not issue a citation.
The resident communicated to management that he lived with roaches at his previous apartment communityHe brought them to this apartment and is asking management to treat for them. Every compliant from this resident has been responded to by management and action has been takenAs of today, 7/19/16, the resident has been communicated to by management that we are allowing him to end his lease early with no penaltyHe is moving out at the end of the monthThis issue should be resolved

Property management was here as wellTo state "no activity " in reports has been going on for months and that is fabricated and egregiously blatant liesAgain I have email chains going back months with evidenceHowever Roscoe will never take ownership for this or other issues here for which I am owed reimbursement as are other tenantsThe concession by the way property management speaks of has NOTHING to do with roachesIn fact I had to be moved units in February 2014 as Roscoe was negligent and left pipes exposed for days with a toxic odor and fumes entering my old unit making me very illAll concessions are related to that negligence and a moveRoscoe has paid no reimbursement for roach issues in current unit or when AC broke and leaked water and mold all over my personal belongings in my storage unit where the AC unit is housedRoscoe refused to reimburse for that and for food etc lost due to roaches
My unit is spotless with expensive furnitureI have NEVER had any roach issue ever before or any issue with any property management prior to RoscoeIn fact ironically Roscoe wanted to use my unit with my furniture and staged layout to show prospective tenants
I am not going to go back and forth on Revdex.com website for this and will choose any further next stepsHowever I did attach just a few pictures as evidence to ongoing issue. I take pictures weekly
