Order *** with Royal Tiger Imports. Ordered (3) of same item. Only (1) item was shipped.
Purchase date was 10.17.2019. Paid with Mastercard ending in ***.
Royal Tiger Imports had part #*** advertised at $9.99 each.
I ordered (3) of the item #***. Order # ***, ***, carton #***.
Received package 10.29.2019 which only had (1) of item #***.
I had ordered THREE!.
I have tried calling phone number (407)*** numerous times, which is a busy signal.
I have emailed at ***@***.com (3) different times with no response.
I either want the two items that I have paid for shipped to me or a refund of $20.00 to my account. I know I would not receive the products as they only have (1) of the item in stock at this time.
I will contact my credit card company in the near future to put a stop to these shady business practices by royal tiger imports.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund or my ordered parts!

Royal Tiger Imports Response • Nov 07, 2019

We apologize for the confusion. We are in the process of moving to a different location. I will be refunding the money today.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Royal Tiger Imports did refund the $20 to my account and sent an email referring to that. Customers beware this company.
I question why they are moving and still trying to continue business. Inventories and product tracking will certainly be screwed up.
Oh well, lost customer here. I am going to tell all my friends on akfiles and akforum also.

Royal tiger sold me a defective product, I sent it back in for repairs or refund March 2018.Royal tiger has been unresponsive and given uncertainties
I purchased a product from royal tiger which turned out to be defective, the product was brand new and under warranty. I shipped the product back to royal tiger March 2018. Royal tiger stated they would inspect the product and make necessary repairs or issue a refund if unfix able by years end. I have been given a mixture of uncertainties and unresponsiveness concerning any decision rendered by royal tiger about the defective product. It has now been well over a year now and royal tiger does not even respond to any requests for an updated status concerning a full refund or replacement of the defective product.

Desired Outcome

At this time, I would like to receive a full refund! Royal tiger has had the defective product in possession for well over a year and has not tried to repair the product and at this point and time, I wish to do NO Further business with this company.

Royal Tiger Imports Response • Nov 15, 2019

We apologize for the delay in repairs being done. The customer was told at the end of May that it would be a couple more months. We are now in the process of moving and all RMAs will begin to be worked on again starting the 18th. First in first out, and it takes time. The warranty covers repairs, it does not cover refunds. Company policy. IO INC has the rifle still. Royal Tiger does not do warranty as they only sell items they do not manufacture them. IO is the company taking care of the repairs.

Customer Response • Nov 18, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company had continuously neither kept their word of their deadline. Over a year for a repair is preposterous. They continue to make new revenue and sell new models while the older customers who thought they were dealing with a reputable company, continue to wait with absolutely no dialogue from this company. I have recorded every single email. This company does not communicate and when they do..they just tell me anything.

The file I have uploaded clearly shows their attitude concerning keeping their word and customer satisfaction.

Royal Tiger Imports Response • Nov 21, 2019

Due to us not manufacturing the AK line anymore, all AK RMAs that are currently still here will be shipped back to the owners in as is condition and a gift certificate will be given. We will begin next week shipping the AK RMAs back.

After having my defective product in their possession for over a year required to fix it under their warranty I paid for, they are now stating they are not honoring the warranty and are sending the defective merchandise back!!!

merchant sent me merchandise significantly not as described, merchant wants to charge me 20% restocking fee.
Ordered $8000 worth of M16 parts kits. Kits were in poor condition, were supposed to be Grade A. I had to pay shipping back $150. They said I had to pay 20% restocking fee or they would send me better kits. I did not trust merchant to send me better kits so I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. They disputed that and want me to pay an outrageous 20% restocking fee because they sell crappy merchandise.

Desired Outcome

I want an entire refund including shipping.

Product was not as advertised, missing parts, un-serviceable components, broken sub-assemblies etc. We are unable to contact the seller.
I wanted to share a recent experience we had at the shop with RTI, which sadly substantiates many of the negative reviews, rumors and issues they are known for in the hopes no other AK enthusiasts fall for their nonsense. RTI disabled reviews on their site, so we are sharing this experience here. We ordered 2 (two) Bulgarin 74 kits for a few customers recently to be utilized on some custom builds in-house here at ***, as the customers did not have their own parts kits to provide and we were out of stock at the time (we've since restocked). They elected to have us order them from RTI in an effort to save about $80 per kit. Ordered them on 27 NOV 2018. The kits in question were advertised as Bulgarian AK74, Plum, some matching some not. Verdict: We could not be more disappointed with these kits. While the photo shows they include a barrel, they did not, however we didn't expect one as it was not in the description and we generally use Faxon or AK Builder barrels on our work here in any case. That aside, the kits were in terrible shape, being poorly de-milled with damage evident on the trunnions (bent rear trunnion strut, egged out holes etc). We can repair that, but the real issues were more critical and very evident: The kits did NOT include the original Bulgarian trigger guard, recoil spring guide or muzzle brake. All of those parts were missing and were substituted with aftermarket parts in each kit. The recoil spring guide that was included was broken beyond use and in pieces (the rearmost portion which dovetails into the rear trunnion was broken in half, and was aftermarket, not Bulgarian). The rear sight in each kit was not Bulgarian, but rather an aftermarket adjustable "RPK style", which we say loosely as it was also a copy/aftermarket part, intended for an AKM, and was broken too; with the rear sight notch bent and the windage drum immobile. The rear sight block itself is also aftermarket, not Bulgarian, and is of the AKM pattern not the AK74, so the elevation ramp is of a different slope meaning the bullet drop will not be commensurate with the settings on the rear sight leaf after a proper zero is applied. Despite being advertised as "PLUM" the stocks were black on both kits, not plum. The muzzle brake (again, aftermarket) does NOT have the zig-zag or semi-circular slots cut at it's front and is poorly treated, apparently with a nitride process done by ex-Century Arms employees in total darkness with no QC. Of the actual Bulgarian parts present, most were damaged or modified. Example: The gas block on BOTH kits had the accessory lugs (where a GP25 or GP30 launcher would be fitted) ground entirely off. Neither kit was matching (acceptable but again disappointing) and one was missing the cleaning rod, upper hand-guard clip and stock screws. Both kits were missing small barrel component pins (one each). The fire control axis pins were not original, possibly WPB made, and one is a full 1.200 mm too short to fit properly in a Childers AK74 receiver. The bolt carriers on BOTH kits have had the auto sear trip ground off and touched up with a magic marker. The only unmolested part in these kits of value is the bolt, which (in both kits) shows some wear but is serviceable. That's it. As incomplete, falsely advertised Bulgarian parts kits for $399, this is a pass. Any money the customers thought they were saving in this case by having us order these is going to be spent three-fold on fixing them and sourcing the correct, proper parts. We've not done business with RTI in the past due to the consistent (and now proven to be true) rumors of poor quality and bait/swap tactics, so we will be sure not do business with them in the future or forward any of our customers to them for any of their needs. Buyer be warned. Kits in question: https://www.royaltigerimports.com/product-p/ak74ppk01.htm

Desired Outcome

We would like the specified parts or serviceable replacements if possible. Otherwise we simply do not want other buyers to fall victim to the same issue.

If you had any issues you should email [email protected] in order try to resolve the issues. I am unable to even find you in our database for any purchases.

Missing part from order
On November 14 I placed an online order for a parts kit from royal tiger imports.com. I received the package but did not open it immediately because I did not have all of the material needed to complete the rifle. on 12/6 I attempted to call royal tiger customer service at 4:21 PM nine minutes prior to their closing according to their website. I was on hold for 10 minutes and then at 4:31 was hung up on. I immediately tried to call back and once again on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on.I called again on the seventh, again on the 10th, and on the 11th. Each time I spent 10 minutes listening to how they have "outstanding customer service".... I attempted to contact them via their contact page on their website. I filled out the form but when you click submit nothing happens. I then tried contacting them via Facebook messenger. Clicking the generic I have a question option. I received a response of what is my question. I then explain the situation which has not been viewed or responded to for the last two days. Screenshots are attached. I am missing a safety stop plate from the kit I ordered and simply wanted to know if they could provide one. Although at this point I feel they should also change they are on hold message to remove the outstanding customer service part since it is nonexistent.

Desired Outcome

I would like to receive the missing part to complete the build.

Royal Tiger Imports Response • Dec 12, 2018

I do sincerely apologize for the trouble you have had getting a hold of someone on the phone. There is only one person answering phones at the moment, and the phone system should prompt you to be able to leave a message. I have been told by a few regular customers that they have had the same issue on it hanging up on them after a few minutes. We are having our phone company look into that matter.
Facebook is not checked regularly so I do apologize you have not had a response yet.
Regarding the safety stop plate, I will have one in the mail for you first thing tomorrow morning.
Again, my sincerest apologies.
