RSI Enterprises, Inc. Reviews (60)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First of, I no doubt am "a difficult caller" for that business - as I own a business that protects customer data. Thus, I did scrutinize the procedures the business operated under - and as such, no doubt the business would call me a "difficult" caller. I did refuse to provide my private information to them without proper procedure for the business verification.  I never said I did not.The claim that they were trying to collect upon - was not an issue. Their way of contacting customers was.Also, I remember VERY VIVIDLY that the second person I spoke to, whose conversation probably never got recorded  -the supervisor- did imply that he indeed on the board of Revdex.com. I am surprised to hear that not only he misrepresented himself, as probably a scare tactic, but also that he currently denies his statement. I would request our recording and get an expert opinion on possible "correction" of the recording, to tell you the truth. I did after conversation verify the legality of the business and called them, however, they NEVER called me back. I did not even know that it was a bogus complaint.There is a standard procedure posted on the [redacted]'s site - as well as the request  for the people to call [redacted] in case they suspect fishing. What the business did indeed sounded as fishing. The fact that the business would not acknowledge that they indeed tried to elicit my private inforamtion is WRONG. This is the nature of my Revdex.com complain- not the fact that they contacted me in the first place, or that there is ( now ) no complaint for my name - I will note it for my records if indeed it turns out that I have something on my credit report. The nature of the claim was their way of verifying my identity.I would consider the issue closed if all the recordings will be indeed asked for, and the business changes the way they contact the customers.Thanks!

Regards,

Ms. [redacted],Our client, the [redacted] has reviewed your complaint and shows that your account is valid, but falls under a "non-filer" status.  My contact, Ms. [redacted] has advised RSI Enterprises, Inc. to cancel the account as a non-filer and cease all...

She has advised me to close the collections account as they are going to adjust the balance to zero.  We now consider the matter closed.  Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].We thank you for your Military service.

In reviewing the call that took place with the consumer as well as correspondence received by and sent from our office in response, we can not see how the consumer would have been led to believe this would be requested removed from credit. We received a request for a settlement and to be removed...

from credit on 10/8/14, on 10/9/14 we mailed a reply stating that we would update as Paid In Full if paid, but we cannot remove from credit as it was properly reported and we would update the status of the account accurately as a paid collection. Furthermore in the conversation on 1/5/15 the consumer asked again if could be deleted from credit, it was explained that we cannot and would update to Paid In Full, which we have done.In full review of this situation it seems the situation was made quite clear in both writing and by phone what that we would only accurately report the status of the account, not remove it in exchange for payment. The Fair Credit Reporting Act is very clear in that it requires fair and accurate credit reporting and reporting this matter as anything other than a paid collection item would not be fair or accurate. We consider this matter to be resolved and the dispute adequately responded to.

We have researched this matter and the identifying information we have for this number does not match the party that has disputed. We have removed all traces of the number received from our client in our system as well as added the number to our Do Not Call list. We apologize for the repeated calls,...

but hope it can be understood that we are a legitimate company trying to reach a party on our client's behalf. Wrong numbers do happen at times and we hope to receive notification if the number is incorrect so that we may discontinue calls.

Regards,[redacted]

I gave them my health savings account debit card info to satisfy a $74 debt, within 2 weeks of it being turned over to them. They deducted the money that day, plus an extra charge that was not listed on the bill, and gave me a confirmation number. Then, 2 days later, they deducted the entire amount again, and their phone line puts me through recordings then hangs up. My hsa card holder is having to block them to prevent repeated re-billing and work with them on duplicate billing reversals.

Review: We keep receiving automated phone calls at our home from this company. It is a different phone number each time, most recently [redacted]. The message is always the same claiming it is a debt collector. When we do answer the calls there is no one there to speak to to tell them to stop calling. We have impeccable credit and no outstanding debt and we regularly monitor our credit reports. This does not seem like a legitimate company and the messages appear fraudulent.Desired Settlement: we want confirmation that these calls will stop and that our phone number will be removed from their list. We want no further contact from this company.

Regards,

These people 'troll call', and have several negative comments in the 'whocalledus' and other forums. I don't know what they get out of these, obviously, random calls to whichever phone number they may happen to obtain, but it's quite annoying.

Some people have reported they get numerous calls per day from these vermin; and yet they have excellent credit, never miss bill payments and have never had any outstanding delinquent debts (as is the case with me).

Trash companies, such as RSI Enterprises, Inc, need to be held accountable for these random collection calls. What they're doing SHOULD be considered illegal. It's certainly unethical.

I'll be filing a similar report with the Az. Attorney Generals office.

Review: On January 5th, I paid A collection account that I had with RSI Enterprises that had an original Creditor Of [redacted]. They took my payment giving me the impression that once the payment cleared they would remove there trade line from all three credit report agency's [redacted]. I recently pulled my Credit report and the trade line is still being showed.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter stating the account was removed from all three report agency's.

Review: On Feb 4th 2015 I paid off a bill I had with RSI Enterprises that was placed with them by [redacted]s For $144.20.I was under the impression the account would be deleted from the 3 major credit report agency's but As of today its still being reported. I feel the company should stick to there word by doing as they say and delete the trade line from all three agency's [redacted].Desired Settlement: A letter stating the account will be removed from my Credit file.

Business

Response:

In reviewing this complaint it is quite clear the consumer knew that RSI Enterprises, Inc. would not remove this from the credit bureaus, but would update the account accurately as Paid In Full. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires data furnishers to fairly and accurately report the standing of accounts and that is exactly what RSI has done. The consumer was told this in writing after receiving a request to do so on 10/09/14. This was also told by phone on 1/5/15 when the account was settled. RSI has been very clear throughout that this would not be deleted, but would be reported as paid in full, which has been accurately completed.

I got a bill with a website to pay it at but now I can't get that website and the main website is only for potential customers. This is a problem when it is such a small amount that they want to put on my credit.

Review: I've just reviewed my credit report and I am writing to dispute certain information in my credit file and to have you re-investigate and remove inaccurate information from my credit report and prevent its re-insertion. The item(s) I dispute are listed below and further identified by name of source. This item is inaccurate and I have described its inaccuracy and the action I would like taken. I am requesting that the below items be deleted to correct the information.

I am writing to dispute the following information in my file from RSI Enterprise on behalf of Keck Hospital. This item is inaccurate because the amount that I was charged was incorrect. I am requesting that the item be deleted to correct the information and an updated credit report be sent to me. I am enclosing a email which indicates that this amount was incorrect.Desired Settlement: Removed from all three credit Bureaus.

In reviewing this customer's account information, this account was placed with us on April 1, 2014, by our client [redacted]. On July 28, 2014, we received a formal dispute from this customer. We confirmed with our client that this was an accurate item and provided an itemized statement of charges to the customer. [redacted] again contacted our office disputing the validity of this matter on August 6, 2014. We requested and received the signed condition of admittance from our client with [redacted]'s signature on it and we provided that to him. RSI has appropriately responded to and provided validation of this matter to [redacted] on two occasions. RSI has acted appropriately at all stages of this account and has met all regulatory requirements, this item will remain an open and active account.RSI feels that we've properly addressed the customer's concerns in this complaint and consider this matter with the Revdex.com resolved.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Attached, is written correspondence (04.09.2013) directly with [redacted] staff requesting a corrected amount for services rendered. I followed up with phone calls and emails, and no one from the billing department rectified this issue. Therefore, I am disputing the validitiy of this charge and would like it to be removed from my credit report. Regards,[redacted]

Business

Response:

As stated in our previous response, the validation request and dispute has been received by the consumer. These were responded to twice with full validity received and provided, above and beyond what is required by law in our industry in order to better assist the consumer. Further disputes of validity are frivolous as these have already been substantiated. In the attached email there is no resolution, but in fact an explanation from the client that the debt is probably beyond his expected copay as it was partially applied to deductible. If the consumer has further questions in that regard we would encourage him to follow up with his insurance company for an explanation of his patient responsibility.Since RSI has complied with the multiple validation requests in full, we consider this matter to be resolved.

Review: Privacy complain. I got what seemed to be fishing scam message - and the agent started by inquiring my personal information. When I asked her to verify she is representing the legitimate business she said that my phone is not private info. I then asked to speak to the superviser, who also maintained that phone number is not a private info. according to 18 elements of [redacted] - it is . He also claimed that he is on the board with Revdex.com. I have to be very concerned now - privacy breaches, improper business practices, ruddiness plus he is on your board? the name of the person is Heath. The number they asked to call: [redacted]

Instead of resolution, he also offered that they remove my number from their list, also I did not ask for it. I very much want to resolve whatever issue they have - if they are legit. They also have a phone identifier. Even though they do not per se break any laws, I am concerned with the business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like to learn what issue they indeed wanted to address.

I would like them to acknowledge improper business practice.

I would like them not to think that I am not a consumer just because some bill was reported to them - I am still interested to find out what bill it was however, I am concerned that they are NOT the legit business.

They need to call me and tell me MY NAME not fish for my number and rest of PII.

If they indeed are not legit, please do confirm it - and I will contact [redacted] as proper.

If I do not hear from you - I indeed will contact the [redacted]

Thanks!

Response:

This was a very difficult conversation with the caller. Our calls are recorded and at no point was there an assertion that the person she spoke with was on the board for Revdex.com. We have no idea actually whether the caller/complainant was the consumer we were attempting to reach or if it is a wrong number because the caller/complainant would not cooperate and barely allowed our side to speak. The complainant may indeed be a wrong number, when she called our representative only asked what the number was that we had called. This inflamed the caller as she feels that is private information, regardless of the fact that we obviously have this information and it is how we reached them in the first place. The standard practice would be to ask for the number we called and if it is indeed a wrong number we would remove it, a very simple procedure in which no private information is exchanged whatsoever. The caller felt she shouldn't give her phone number so we were not able to help her. She also seems confused according to the complaint, as to why we are calling and to what purpose though the messages we leave and on the calls themselves we were quite clear as to who we are, what we do, where we are located and even helped her identify us online and with the Revdex.com. I am not sure why she filed a Revdex.com complaint as she also called back once she verified our business on Revdex.com. In the first call the complainants number was not blocked so we were able to locate the number and remove it from our records, as well as cancel any possibility of future calls. We feel no need to have any further contact with this person. In her return message after verifying on the Revdex.com, she gave her name and is does not match who we were attempting to contact. Of further note is in the complaint, the complainant mentions if she doesn't hear back from Revdex.com she will file with the [redacted], though I'm not sure she realizes the complaint type she submitted comes to our company and Revdex.com does not respond.We feel this matter to be resolved and consider this complaint closed.

Review: The firm kept calling me on my cell phone asking for an [redacted]? I said I did not know this person and to recheck their records. After a year and a half, I got a bill for overdue taxes from 2010 with a social security number on it that was not mine. I wrote them a letter telling the firm this and that they should not be divulging individual's personal information such as social security numbers. I also pointed out that I was living in another state in 2010 and could prove it. I asked them provide documentation as to why they thought this was my tax bill. I also pointed out that the statute of limitations in that particular state was three years and this was five years old. I then got another notice from the firm, saying it was the last and third notice--but I got only two notices in the mail, there was no second notice.Desired Settlement: Cease and Desist from further contact with me. My lawyer thinks this is a scam and suggested that I inform the Revdex.com.

Response:

RSI Enterprises, Inc. is a legally licensed and contracted collection agent for the [redacted] in the District of Columbia. This case was sent to RSI by our client, the DC [redacted] for collection; as such, RSI is acting above-board and is not a scam, which can be verified by Ms. [redacted] counsel. Upon receipt of the original complaint through the Revdex.com, RSI Enterprises, Inc. immediately contacted its client, the DC [redacted] to verify case status. At that time, they advised for RSI to cease all activity, close and return the account to the DC OTR (our client) for further follow up. As stated in our last response, RSI did just that. We have ceased all communication with Ms. [redacted] and marked her account as closed and returned to DC OTR on our host system. This complies with Ms. [redacted] original request to cease & desist. RSI Enterprises, Inc. is no longer working this account nor is it contractually obligated to do so, as the account is owned by DC OTR not RSI. RSI has complied with all of its legal and contractual obligations, including promptly responding to the dispute/this compliant, ceasing all efforts/calls and returning this account to the original creditor, the DC [redacted]. At this time and as a contracted agent of the District, RSI is no longer involved in this case and cannot, therefore, assist Ms. [redacted] further. We are no longer in a position to take further action on this case and all further communication on this account will need to be between Ms. [redacted] and the original creditor, the DC [redacted], as outlined in the original response, which includes direct contact information for the DC [redacted]. RSI considers the matter against RSI Enterprises, Inc. closed, as we have complied with all requests and taken appropriate legal/contractual steps required.

Review: Two months Ago I was doing a credit check, and I saw a negative report from RSI ENTERPRISES for the amount of $300, so I contacted their office and I spoke to a person name [redacted], and [redacted] told me that the charge was from a company name [redacted] and he gave me a phone number to call. So I called the number I got from [redacted] and I spoke to a women named [redacted], and she told me that the charges were from an Emergency room that I visited back in November of 2014, but the problem is that when I visited the Emergency room no service was provided to me because they didn't have the right doctor for me so they told me to go see a specialist and I asked them if they needed my insurance card and they told me there was no need for an insurance because they didn't do anything and I left. So when I contacted [redacted] who gave the account to collection to RSI ENTERPRISES she told me to write a letter disputing the bill, which I did, and then I called to fallow up with her she tells me that my account was reviewed by there management and the charges are valid, and I asked her if she can provide me with an itemized statement or an invoice explaining what services are they charging me for and she refused to do so, and told me to deal with the collection agency. So I sent the collection agency this letter

RSI ENTERPRISES

Re: Acct # [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,

I am sending this letter to you in response to a notice I received from you. Be advised, this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, [redacted] that your claim is disputed and validation is requested.

This is NOT a request for "verification" or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your office provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you.

Please provide me with the following:

• What the money you say I owe is for;

• Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe;

• Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe;

• Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable;

• Identify the original creditor;

• Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account;

• Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state; and

• Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent.

If your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the three major Credit Bureau's ([redacted]), said action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you for the following:

• Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act

• Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

• Defamation of Character

If your offices are able to provide the proper documentation as requested, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist.

Also during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel. This includes any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact there is no provided proof that it is.

If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.

I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls or correspondence sent to any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter.

This is an attempt to correct your records, any information obtained shall be used for that purpose.

Best Regards,

And I didn't even get a proper respond to my letter, there refusing to provide me with a paperwork that explains what the charges are for, and I'm not surprised because they don't even know what there charging me for. So there response to my letter was

Dear Mr.

We Have asked our client to research your dispute on the account listed above and have been advised of the following

.Patient is responsible for this balance , his account has already been reviewed numerous time by management and has also been reviewed by the risk management, all documentation supports coding and charges. This has already been explained to him and the patient was offered a discount which he refused.

We have enclosed the validation as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA.)

We consider this dispute / balance as validated and request that you contact our office for further resolution.

Sincerely

Rsi Enterprises Inc. [redacted]

This is an attempt to collect a debt. RSI is a collection agency. Any information obtained will be used in the attempt to collect this debt.

This was there response to my letter that I sent to them, as you can see they didn't provide me any of the information that was listed in my letter. Two days ago I called the RSI ENTERPRISES to see if they were going to send me the documents I requested and I spoke to a women name [redacted] and I was told that she was going to call their client and request it and she told me to call her back in two days, I called her Monday March 23, 2015 and she told me the same thing they wrote in the letter they sent me.Desired Settlement: I want them to send the proper response to the debt Validation letter I sent them, I want them to explain what there charging me for and what services was provided to me, and I want to to sent me an itemized invoice for the charges or the serviced that there stating they gave me. If they can't provide this simple things that I asked for then I want to to remove all the negative report from my credit report. And I want them to call and apologize for the problems they caused me this couple of months.

Response:

We did in fact receive the written dispute and request for validation from the consumer on 3/11/15. We then followed our process and validated the debt with our client, who sent us validation documents, which we then sent to the consumer on 3/12/15 with a letter explaining what our client made us aware of. As indicated in our letter, the consumer's questions were answered by the client themselves. Regarding your demand for further information including any of the following; original signed contracts, copies of state licenses, our agreement with the original creditor listed on this account, etc., there is no basis in law to substantiate your right to such information. In fact, court cases and the Federal Trade Commission have found there is no duty to comply with such excessive verification demands.**(see below)The indicated resolution from the consumer per this complaint is to receive an explanation of what the charges are for as well as an itemized statement. The itemized statement has been sent and was received by the consumer as acknowledged in the complaint. An explanation was given by the client themselves as also acknowledged. Further indicated I nthe resolution was to receive a proper response to the validation request and as indicated above that has been done to the full letter of the law.As all of these resolution requests have been complied with and the indicated resolution reached, we consider this matter to be closed.**(cases indicated above):[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have read the response from the business and I still don't agree with them, they didn't not provide me with any paperwork that shows the I owe that debt that thire claming. I think they have been given misleading information from theire client, Because I called the [redacted] and I spoke to a women name [redacted] that works at their billing office and she informed me that I don't owe them any money for that visit. I called ([redacted]) The client of RSI Enterprises and she refused to comment on that, and she said she didn't want to have anything to do with this matter and advised me to deal with the collection agency. I really don't understand whats going on here and who this people are and what are they trying to accomplish, but I want them to explain and prove that this debt is mine and if I agreed to pay it, and at least provide me with some kind of paperwork that I signed. If this charges a legit and there not fraudulent, I believe they won't have any problem providing me with the basic information I requested if they can't prove and provide me me this information I want this matter to be closed and I want all the negative feedback from RSI Enterprises to be removed from All 3 Credit bureaus.

Best Regards,

Business

Response:

It was explained in our previous reply that the desired outcome listed by the consumer was met. This fact remains true, each item requested has been followed through with. Proper validation as required by law has been provided. An itemized statement and a full review and explanation of the charges has been provided by the client. The consumer claims to still have questions, yet has spoken to the client a number of times regarding this debt and had it explained. In this most recent denial of the attempt to close the complaint, the consumer insists that RSI Enterprises is misleading our client, but in fact it is the client giving us information, not the other way around. This debt is owed to our client, we are collecting on their behalf. The consumer also insists that a signed document be received, but it has been explained that this must be requested from the client's medical records department. RSI does not obtain, store, or collect these types of documents as they are not necessary to our business or required by law. The client requires that these documents be requested by the consumer through the medical records department as it is a part of the patient medical records. Every requested item, including a full explanation and full validation, has been provided to the consumer minus this one piece of signed documentation, which can be obtained by the consumer through the proper channels and which we are not required to supply, as explained before. We consider this matter to be closed.

Review: Calls, tried calling back, not most polite service, when asked for supervisor / person above, not willing to give higher person, told person not to call, only mail; worked in industry familiar with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and HIPPA laws (work in industry dealing with that now), Person still had to go through all. Told mistake, $14 issue insurance company didn't correctly bill/pay to lab, $14 balance from 2 years ago? Said wife has health issues, RA and immune system, stress really aggravates, poses health threat. Person still going on. Then, Op Mgr Heath Morder not available, then hung up on. Then disconnected. Finally able to reach him, magically someone saw him walk by. Not most helpful, finally sd will not call, send correspondence.Desired Settlement: NO further contact, their client correct or re-bill to get correct insurance info, etc and get paid from insurance. Or, simply send $14 bill to us, via mail, which can be taken care of immediately. Thus far, have not received mail regarding this issue, despite first person ([redacted]) who said we should have received bill. All this aggravation and health problems incurred by wife due to stress (since she has immune disorders, not acceptable and not worth it. We are going through all this for $14? Unbelievable.

Response:

This consumer called multiple times yesterday and was offered a supervisor, but the consumer did not want that supervisor, he wanted her supervisor who unfortunately was not available. As noted this was the Operations Manager, who was not in his office at the time. After repeated calls and terminations by the consumer, the Ops Manager became available and spoke with him. The consumer listed his qualifications and repeatedly asserted that he would file legal action and after listening for some time, the manager asked why the consumer was upset and what law he felt was broken. The consumers only reply was that they wanted no further contact by phone and only by mail if RSI changed the name to his, which cannot be done unfortunately. The Operations Manager replied that the first representative he spoke with had marked the account to not contact so there didn't seem to be an issue. At this time if the consumer felt there was any other problems or concerns they could have been addressed of course, but the consumer said "Great" and hung up.In looking over the consumer's account everything seems to be in order, the amount due is a deductible from insurance with most of the original balance satisfied by them, bills were sent from both our client and RSI Enterprises, as well as calls. As the consumer's original complaint has been satisfied by ceasing further contact and the insurance situation has been addressed, we feel this matter to be resolved and closed. RSI will no longer further contact the consumer.

Review: Negative information is appearing my credit report (s) (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax) reported by RSI. A certified letter was mailed and received by RSI 10/26/15. RSI s refusing to validate debt as outlined in the Fair debt Collection Act. The letter contain my details as given to Revdex.com and the account numbers listed on my credit report.Desired Settlement: Immediately delete negative information from my credit reports (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian)

I would like to explain that this company has an auto dialer that called my house, and when I answered the call there was nothing there. When I did call back the company they got very rude with me, and I have nothing to do with this company whatsoever.
