Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/02/29) */ We entered into an agreement with this client to liquidate their timeshares, not to sell themThe progress of both liquidations did become delayed, due to the client's failure to comply with our requests for documentsWhile we handle the majority of everything required to liquidate a timeshare, the owner's participation is required to a certain extentThis is clearly outlined with the client before they enter into our agreement; as well as clearly outlined in the agreement that they signedDespite the numerous requests and follow ups required in order for the client to comply; we were able to work together and complete the necessary steps to be able to terminate their obligation to their resortsTheir liquidations were finally nearing completion when we received this complaintAlthough the last step in the liquidation process had not yet been completed, the client was not responsible for the financial obligation when they decided to file this complaintWe have spoken with our client and believe we have satisfied their concerns completelyShe indicated to us that she would be removing this complaint from your website

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2017/04/05) */ I received a letter dated 3/21/from RSI, signed by [redacted] confirming that my [redacted] at [redacted] liquidation contract, signed 7/20/had been cancelledThis letter is to serve as my written confirmation of the cancellation with RSI I have heard or received nothing else - [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 12, 2016/06/03) */ The consumer signed up with our company to liquidate two timesharesWe successfully completed the liquidation of one of his propertiesHis [redacted] could not be transferred out of his name without the appropriate documents, which the client failed to provide in spite of multiple requests made to him by phone, email & mailThese allegations are false

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did receive a call but have not received a refund Sincerely, [redacted]

We have had nothing but trouble with the owner of this company, our new home, and the fact that he says he will fix something and then NEVER doesI want to warn others so they do not go through the terrible experience we haveOur new home has over nail pops that were supposed to be fixed since but I am still waiting and our builder now says to contact home warranty because he no longer wants to fix themAlong with the nail pops comes severly unlevel floors, he installed a stained tub, bathroom caps installed as dryer vents which eventually resulted in ceiling leaking the length of the exhaust pipeAll of this had to come out of our pocketWe thought buying a new home was a good idea and a safe idea for our childrenHowever, RSI Inc and [redacted] have proven that it was the biggest mistake of our livesMy home is a prime example and the multiple unanswered emails and no home fixes on his part show what kind of builder and man he isPlease be careful when working with himI would choose another builderThere are multiple hormones in my neighborhood alone who have similar experience as I do with this same individual

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/05/08) */ We are sorry that we were not able to help this client out of his timeshare burdens at this timeWhile we had begun the work to liquidate both properties, we should have followed up with him right away when we did not receive any type of response from himWe have talked with the client as well as cancelled his agreements with RSI

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meIn regards to complaint # ***:The statement received from Relief Solutions International that you forwarded was only partially true In the contract it states that in 120-days you will be free of the contract, it has been 21/years Also, I was never told not to use my timeshare, I had plenty of RCI points and could have, but I could never get into the place that I had the timeshare and I did not use it or any other timeshare in I had paid all upfront fees and do not owe anything.I am in agreement to receive 100% of my money back and hope that they will send it I will be in contact with you and will let you know if and when I receive it Thank you so much for the assistance in this matter, *** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2016/03/11) */
We have attempted to reach this client by phone & email several times, to no availIt is unfortunate that they chose to file this complaint rather than discussing their concerns with usWe successfully completed our agreement with the
client, by eliminating both their timeshare and the financial obligation that comes along with itThe fact that the client is upset about this is surprising to us, given the fact that line item number five (5), in our one (1) page, ten (10) line contract states: "I/We understand that this process could affect my/our creditI/We understand that RSI will make every effort to maintain the integrity of my/our credit." Our contract with this client was to liquidate their timeshare interestsWe have successfully completed this for themWhile this is where our obligation to the client ends, we are still working on correcting the negative credit reporting that their resort filed against them, when they released them from their ownershipWe are helping people out of a very expensive and difficult obligationThe timeshare industry is a hard one to be in when you are honest, so on that point we relate to the the client's negative feelings regarding this whole situationFrom our point of view however, their frustrations were caused not by our process, but by purchasing the timeshare in the first placeWe are happy to have helped them out of their timeshare burden; and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss any concerns with the client directly

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2017/06/02) */
***Document Attached***
RSI's response is just a number of hollow statements with no substanceThey performed and produced nothing under the contract that they got my father to signPlease see the attached RSI contract (two parts) that was signedNo where on this contract does it say what RSI is being retained to doThis is fraudulentI have since contacted the timeshare resortFor a much less amount than RSI collected under this contract and much less than RSI subsequently requested in their Feb letter, the resort said they could easily deed-back the timeshare if we filled out a one page formThis has not yet been done as we are waiting for our claim against RSI to be paidWe are not satisfied with RSI's hollow response and feel that the Revdex.com should consider this complaint further and make sure that it is reflected in RSI's Revdex.com records
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2017/06/21) */
To Whom it May Concern:

On 1/8/necessary documents were sent to the Consumer to fill out and send back to our office
On 1/26/Consumer called and wanted updateWas advised of documents that were sent to him that we need filled out and returned to proceedConsumer stated did not receive, RSI sent out a second set of documents to client by US mail and email per client's request
On 2/4/Consumer called in stating his printer was broken and wanted another set of documents sent outRSI explained they had also mailed a set of documents as the Consumer Requested and it should be there in few days
On 2/8/RSI spoke with the Consumer that stated he had received the documents and that the mailman had been delivering his mail to neighbor
On 2/15/RSI received documents back from client
On 3/17/RSI finished reviewing all documents returned from client and contacted client about going a different route due to timing of getting original information and going the Legal routeIt was also explained there would be a Termination Fee set by the Resort at the end if this process
On 3/22/RSI sent the Consumer the page document that needed to notarized and addendum that was to be signed showing client agreed that RSI was going to use a Legal Team to Terminate his Timeshare Contract
On 4/28/RSI spoke with Consumer and let them know everything was moving along smoothly, as soon as their Legal File was built they would be sent to the Legal TeamRSI also reminded Consumer that the Process takes 12-months and this started over when we had to change process on 3/17/Consumer voiced understanding
On 2/22/RSI called the Consumer to let him know that we had gotten his Termination Fee as low as possible and this would need to be paid to be completed as this was in the Contract and was gone over multiple timesConsumer stated he was not paying anything and we can tell the resort "to shove it"RSI explained to the Consumer not paying this fee is going against his contractConsumer again stated he was not paying the Required fee
On 3/16/RSI received a letter from Consumer wanting to Cancel his Contract with RSI and obtain a refund on the RetainerRSI called and let client know that we are unable to do so as we have fulfilled our end it was up to the Consumer at this point if was going to pay the required fees or to remain an ownerHowever, no refund would be given
In Conclusion RSI has fulfilled our end of the contract and sent a Noncompliance letter Certified to the ConsumerThe only thing hindering the Consumer to be out of his Timeshare is the unwillingness of the Consumer to pay his required fees that he signed a contractual agreement onRSI is willing to move forward and see if this offer is still valid as these do Expire in time

We dispute originally being told the process takes - monthsPlease see the previously attached workpaper showing 180-days to be totally "Done"This was handwritten by sales person on 02/09/noting the steps to be taken for completionPaperwork for Release & Authorization was sent to us on 04/23/to be completed and signed in front of a notary and returned to RSI by certified mailThe form was completed by us on 04/27/and sent to RSI by certified mailPlease see step of Deed & Title Transfer Outline dated 02/15/Step states days from the date we receive your completed transfer paperwork back from you, you will no longer be responsible for any bills associated with your timeshare*Allow days for ***, ***, ***, and *** managed propertiesOur property is ***, so we expected no longer than days from their receipt of the returned Transfer Release & Authorization formTherefore we should not owe the Maintenance fees and late charges from ***Step states The liquidation process normally takes 120-days to completeThis timeframe varies and is based upon your property and the available usageThis is based upon timely response to RSI's request for documentation or informationWe were never told at the time of signing the Deed/Title Transfer Service Contract that the processs would linger for 12-monthsWe asked how long the process would take and were told 180-days max (see scanned handwritten workpaper)This is longer than the norm because our property is a *** propertyWe desire the transaction to be completed as discussed during the presentation on 02/09/and as noted on their handwritten paperwork per step of email dated 02/15/This transaction should have been completed well before year endWe should not be responsible for the maintenance fees and late charges and should not receive poor credit rating due to the unpaid feesWhy has this liquidation not been completed? We've done all that has been asked of usWhat are we waiting for?

our services on April 12, 2015, at this point the client was informed that the process could take Approx-Months with no delays from the Consumer on Requests needed to proceedIt is also outlined in the Contract we can not complete the Transfer until next available year of usage. On 5/5/ All necessary documents were sent to the Consumer to fill out and send back to our office On 5/14/Consumer called in stating that she was going to use her Points using RCI points banked with Timeshare in SeptemberRSI advises all clients to not use their Timeshare as this can Hinder the Process. 06/04/- Received Papers back from client to process title search 07/17/- Received update from title department : Island Links is a Reba Management property, therefore part of their transfer requirements is to pay upfront years worth of maintenance fees 09/23/- Speaking with title department uncovered the reason why she has to pay yrs worth is because she is tri-annuel and can't even transfer till since she used it so she will need to stay up to date. On 3/23/Spoke with Consumer about the fact that she has a Timeshare that is able to be used every three years and since she used it in September will not be able to Transfer until At this time the we spoke about the different options RSI could provide the Consumer .She agreed to take an enhanced route with RSI will let her know if any additional information is needed throughout the processOn 3/25/Required paperwork was sent to the client for RSI to allow our Legal Team to work with her ResortThis is also confirmation that Process will take an additional 12-months approximatelyOn 4/12/All paperwork was received back from the Consumer and the Consumer’s file was sent to the Legal TeamOn 7/21/Update was received that everything was moving exactly where it should be at this pointOn 7/17/Emailed interaction that the Resort is not interacting at this timeHowever this is and The attorneys will be calling the Resort if no communication goes furthe. On 8/4/Spoke with Consumer and gave updated information on her fileClient was informed we can continue to work on thisWe will get another update from our Legal Team and advise client on where we are and are willing to move forward if the client is in agreeanceIn Conclusion , we have provided every measure to assist our client with the cancellation of her contractual obligations to her resortIt is NOT common practice for Resorts to allow owners to deed back timesharesIn our review of the outcome we feel the only reason resort would even offer a deed back at this point is due to our team being involvedOur contract does state we will give 100% money back if we are “UNABLE” to get Consumer Legally out of Timeshare, even though we are confident in our services and know we were well on our way of exactly this , relieving Ms*** of her TimeshareHowever, we want to provide stress free relief for timeshare owners, catering to individual needs while exemplifying honesty, integrity and a passion for excellence in our business practiceWe will be refunding 100% of the money Ms*** has paid to RSI. This consumer signed up with our company on 6/23/to Terminate her
Timeshare ContractThis process can take 12-months with full cooperation needed by the Consumer at all times to go as smoothly as possible
On 3/29/RSI spoke with the clients daughter and found out that the Consumer had been sending in checks to another company to handle her accountRSI relayed the information over to the Consumer's daughter that the best thing to do to was to switch to the Legal Process as this would have less paperwork for the ConsumerHowever there will be a Termination fee in the middle of the ProcessThis was agreed upon by all parties that this was the best route to go
On 6/3/the Consumers Legal file was built and sent over to the Legal Team
On 3/13/RSI contacted the Consumer to collect the Termination Fee that is outlined in her contractThe Consumer's daughter stated that she wanted to cancel with our office and get a refundDue to the amount of work that was put into this Consumer's case they were instructed they are not eligible for a refund at this timeRSI does have a 100% money back guarantee if we are unable to complete the Termination with their resort and there was delays in the process caused by the ConsumerRSI was told that the Consumer or the Consumer's daughter would call back after discussed
On 4/5/RSI contacted the Consumer to see if they are ready to move forward with the process at this timeRSI was instructed to send a invoice and it would be handled
On 4/5/RSI mailed invoice to the Consumer
Currently RSI is working diligently on getting the client out of their TimeshareAs of 6/19/a document was sent to the client to fill out in the proceedings to Rid her of her Timeshare burden

This is an unfortunate matter that we do not take lightly as we are ending a burden for clients and never wish to cause more of a burden. This client signed up for our services on 10/1/2015. With 3 separate properties.

On 9/21/2016 the...

client called and was upset that the process was taking so long and was not completed. Due to the severity of the call RSI decided to cancel the 2 properties that the client wanted a refund on. Even outside of our Cancelation Policies we took the extra steps with the Consumer to satisfy our clients and Refunding the client on the two properties.

We continued to work on the 3rd and Final Property, on 1/30/2017 we had the Consumer's released from there Timeshare. In conclusion Relief Solutions International has fulfilled the written contract and is willing to help the client in the future if they have any other TimeShare Relief that is needed.

Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2017/03/27) */
[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
In 2015, RSI started this process. I sent letters as I was instructed to Consumer Financial Protection, Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General and the resort. (see attached) all have come back to say they could not help and the resort stated they could not terminate the membership. I contacted my case manager and informed of the information I had received and asked for a refund as stated in their contract (see attached item 2) she informed me that she would send information to manager to process refund. I also called company and was instructed to send copies of all letter to Processing Dept to request refund. I sent copies by certified mail on January 28, 2017 and they received February 1, 2017 (see attached). I have not received my refund of $4,295 but was told that contract is cancelled. I spoke to [redacted] and told her that I want proof in writing that the contract/membership agreement with Ocean Reef is cancelled since I sent all the letters and everyone responded to me and I was the one responsible for letting them know how the case was going. [redacted] stated I called in September 2016 request a refund for the other 2 resorts because it was taking too long, what she did not state is why I called and made that statement. We signed with them in October 2015, December 2015, they sent paperwork from a company which we signed giving the company permission to transfer ownership. After several calls to RSI, called the company RSI stated was taking ownership of the 2 timeshares and the company had no knowledge of us, our paperwork or timeshares nor did they want our timeshares. Called RSI back and was offered by their representative a refund or pay an additional $2,000. to have their attorney send letters to the time share organizations stating I no longer wanted the timeshares. I chose the refund. A process they said would take 60 days took over 11 months and still was not settled, I think I had all the right in the world to say it was taking too long.

To Whom it may Concern,
This is an unfortunate matter that we want to make sure is handled. The consumer did sign up on 10/1/2015 for us to Release her out of her 3 Timeshares. As the consumer stated she did cancel 2 contracts at 11 months into the Process. When the Consumer(s) signed our contract they were aware this process takes 12-18 months and was stated to the client multiple times when they were concerned about taking so long. We were able to complete this process and had alternative routes for the client to be Rid of their TimeShare Burden. Our goal is to provide for our clients the most pleasant process we can and not cause them more turmoil.
Due to the Concerns of the call from the Consumer, RSI decided to cancel their 2 properties that the Consumer wanted refunded. Even though this is outside of the Cancellation Policies RSI took the extra steps to satisfy the Consumer.
We continued to work on the 3rd and Final Property and on 2/3/2017 the Consumer was released out of her Timeshare that we were working on diligently for them.
In conclusion Relief Solutions International has fulfilled the written contract and is willing to help the Consumer in the future if they have another TimeShare relief that is needed.

First & foremost, we want to express our sincerest apologies for the misunderstandings between ourselves & this client. We do everything we can to ensure that our clients are comfortable with and understand the different things that can occur...

during this type of transaction; clearly in this case though, we were not able to accomplish that. We have spoken with the consumer and cancelled our contract with him in full.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 19, 2016/10/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes, RSI was responsive, understanding, and did want to make me happy and did not pressure me in any way. After several conversations, I decided that it would be best for me to cancel our agreement which they honored.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/08) */
We are sorry that we were not able to help this client out of his timeshare burdens at this time. While we had begun the work to liquidate both properties, we should have followed up with him right away when we did not receive any type of...

response from him. We have talked with the client as well as cancelled his agreements with RSI.
