In response to complaint # [redacted] [redacted] contacted us a month after she purchased the machine very promptly we came to her home a day later to assist her with it and our technician found nothing wrong with it she just wasnt operating it rightShe called our office again trying to cancel her purchase and I personally took the call wasnt rude in any way shape or form she just didnt like the information she was givenAs per agreement when she applied for the loan right below her signature in big balck bold letters it states a day cancellation period which is a federal law called the cooling off rule and its explained in detail how to cancel, unfortunately she called us a month laterThe finance company that approved the loan are the ones billing her not usWe are always more than happy to assist any costumers that need help with the system but we cannot reverse this transactionIf you have any questions feel free to call ###-###-####

We could not disagree more about this complaintThe presentation went great Miss [redacted] loved itThe [redacted] machine does a beautiful job on hard wood floors and there are no after market products that you can purchaseShe bought the [redacted] on the 1/7/showed up at our office in [redacted] the very next morning wanting to return the equipmentWithout hesitation we said no problem cancelled the purchase and she was never chargedHowever we had to make several phone calls back to Mr and Mrs [redacted] since they did not return all the equipment that was left in her home

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: you made one phone call notifying I forgot to return one piece of the equipment and returned it the next dayYou guys on the other hand only returned one phone call after I told you I would report this to the Revdex.comThen returned no other phone call which is why I showed up the next day to return the productAt which time I was told I should have called for help with the machineI did that timesI was able to return in with no problem and was never charged, the customer service is lacking to the extremeI was told it would clean my floors and all I got was a foam bath, which is why I was calling for help and never received itDue to the lack of customer service and only had days to return it I was not willing to keep itThere was no information in the manual for this use, and couldn't find information on the InternetThen no call back from you when I left a message saying I needed and help and had some questionsAfter I missed the call from you and tried to call back I still had not received a call back hours later Sincerely, [redacted]

The business did respond to me by purchasing a replacement vacuum cleaner, which has been delivered to me It is not comparable to the one I had, but I did except itThanks to Revdex.com's prompt attention to my dilemmaIt is very much appreciatedRespectfully, [redacted]

This is in response to *** *** and the *** Avalir system purchased on 11/14/We have offered to come out to *** *** home and help her with the machineIts a very common minor mistake concerning the belt on the machineWe strive 100% in customer satisfaction
unfortunately *** *** will not accept our help, she is convinced that the *** is defective which is not the caseThe machine is a fantastic system not being used properly but she refuses our assistance. The customer has a day right to cancel from the purchase date, there was no wrongful doing and nothing wrong with the system so at this time we will not accept the cancellationwe would be more than happy to help herIf you have any questions feel free to contact us ###-###-####

Not quiteI would have been happier if RTS and Associates had never rung my doorbell, as it has been established that they had no right to do so in the first place I would have been happier if I didn't have to waste so much precious time resolving the matterI would have been happier if my home and privacy hadn't been violated by strangers with a history of questionable sales practices "Absolutely nothing wrong with the system," is a self-serving statement after the fact"Full refund" is also debatable, as the value of my four (4) trade-ins was not refunded to me because the merchandise had been "donated." Furthermore, if someone needs "assistance" in order to operate a vacuum cleaner, then said vacuum cleaner certainly is not worth, $1,PLUS over $1,in travalue I have been in contact with my credit card company regarding their assistance with this matter, however, I have yet to receive written verification of the refund, or a statement to that effectI have also contacted representatives of Consumer Protection Services of Yonkers, N.Y who were instrumental in the resolution of this matter.
I thank you for your handling of the incident, which I wish to put behind me as a lesson well-learnedMy hope is that no one, particularly someone in my own community, is ever victimized in such a manner again

I would like a refund due to the fact that a defective product was sold to me That has nothing to do with canceling the orderIf the vacuum worked the way it was supposed to, I would have wanted to keep it the same way I wanted to buy itFurthermore, the sale was illegal as the company was not licensed to sell anything door to door in Yonkers, N.YThey had no right to ring my door for that purpose in the first placeFor this reason, as well as the issues described in the original complaint, they will not be permitted in my home againNeedless to say, I would feel uncomfortable, if not threatened, by their presence I did ask the representative (Mike) if he could tell me what the problem was over the phoneHe said that it was the belt, which I checked and checked again after I spoke to himWhy would the belt be malfunctioning on a brand new machine? I was able to return in with no problem and was never charged, the customer service is lacking to the extreme. I was told it would clean my floors and all I got was a foam bath, which is why I was calling for help and never received it. Due to the lack of customer service and only had 3 days to return it I was not willing to keep it. There was no information in the manual for this use, and couldn't find information on the Internet. Then no call back from you when I left a message saying I needed and help and had some questions. After I missed the call from you and tried to call back I still had not received a call back 12 hours later.

As stated before there is absolutely nothing wrong with the system, it works perfect! However at the end of the day we want everyone to be happy so we did pick up the system and issued a full refund. Once again it just wasn't being used properly and the customer refused our assistance.

I had RTS sell me their home appliance system and couldn't be happier. Their representative Nick was very kind and caring of my entire family. We had a great time and the machine works magic.
My daughter suffers from allergies and since we started vacuuming with our new [redacted] she hasn't had any major attacks.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was informed it was a life warranty. They came to my apartment but the problem is not resolved.  The vacuum is not working. It is not a matter of not operating the vacuum right.  There is no business in America that says you can pay for a broken items. They need to stop deceiving people out there. Once more [redacted] was rude and inconsiderate about the consumer. He just want to sell a broken items and base his fact on signing a three day notice to return. It is not fair ,somebody needs to stop the people from stealing from the innocent buyer.

Review: On Saturday, , 11/14/15, a young woman rang my doorbell and asked if I needed my carpets cleaned as they were doing free demonstrations in the area. She asked if I had ever heard of [redacted] vacuum cleaners, which I did because my mother had one for a very long time. She called two gentlemen to do the carpet cleaning. I said that they could only do the steps because my son was sleeping. Once in, however, the demonstrator, Chris, infiltrated his way into my hallway and began showing me much more than the shampooing that I agreed to. He said that the price for the vacuum/shampooer was $2,495.00. I told him that I couldn't afford it. He said that if I had an older model [redacted] to trade in, they could give me $1,045.00 off the price as trade in value. I did not have the old [redacted] He said that if I had any four (4) cleaning appliances, he could give me the $1,045.00 off anyway. At that point, a vacuum and carpet shampooer in one with the [redacted] name did seem like a good deal. So I made the purchase for $1,450.00 in addition to my old appliances, three of which were in working order. He said that they would make any necessary repairs to items traded in and then give them to charity. The sales team consisted of Chris, the woman, Carolyn, and their manager was Shannon. When I used the vacuum they sold me, I noticed that it was not picking up superficial pieces of lint. I watched the instructional video and discovered that the reason was that the brush was not spinning. The indicator light was not on confirming the malfunction. The vacuum is defective. At that point, I realized that I had been victimized. I tried calling several times before I was finally able to reach someone named Miguel. When I tried to give Miguel my information, he had trouble hearing me. He also had trouble spelling my name. I became very frustrated, resulting in my complaint with your organization. Someone left a message on my home telephone saying that he received a message that I needed help with my [redacted] implying that I don't know how to use it properly. I can assure you that is not the case. I do not trust this company. Their sales methods were questionable to say the least, and I was suspicious during the entire sales pitch, but the vacuum was appealing in many ways. I do not want this vacuum because it is defective and I do not wish to do business with this untrustworthy company.Desired Settlement: I hope to get the money ($1, 450.00) refunded. As far as the appliances I traded in are concerned, I am worried that they would not be in the same condition I gave them in. If they really do give them to charity that would be fine. I just would like my refund and I will gladly give them back the vacuum cleaner, despite being taken advantage in such a deplorable manner.
